A bit expensive. Add on costs for shared utilities, pet rent, required package delivery service, required trash pick up service (that isn't nightly and occasionally missed on service dates), and cost for parking are not desirable. recurring issues with complex cleanliness (trash and dog waste), elevator issues, and disrespectful neighbors are leading us to look elsewhere. Additionally, appliances are useable but not great.

All good no issues other than residents need to clean better in trash rooms. Tenants are very lazy at times cleaning up after themselves with there garbage. Sometimes the leave the garbage room a complete mess with food etc on the ground.

The central office provides good service, nice neighbors, clean community, has a swimming pool. Nice clean place to relax, there is a very good gym near the park restaurant Shopping everything you need is awesome.

Too expensive rent, too high utility charges. Garage floor/elevator entry from garage are extremely dirty and garage parking is not safe. Despite sending request to maintenance, no one clean the entry to elevator from garage. Weed smoking neighbours and living in your own unit is a nightmare sometimes.

We toured a lot of different apartments, but Griffis had by far the best management team, who was well-informed, easily accessible, and so kind, which made the lease application process and the move-in so easy. We love our apartment and the many amenities we get access to, and the neighbors we have met thus far are very welcoming. Griffis has exceeded our expectations!

Just love this place and highly recommended. The grounds are well kept, the amenities are great, and the layouts of the units are very nice. This place is expensive but you get what you pay for. WIth a state of the art gym, two pools with hot tubs, and meeting rooms it's got it all. The place is overall quiet. The only downside to this place is there is a far amount of unsavory behavior behind the south building or at night but management is aware and they are doing the best they can. I would love to see video survalience implemented given that I was a victim of a robbery in my storage unit. Otherwise I do recommend this place.

Decent apartments. The area is great. Until recently, with King County castrating the police they are unable and unwilling to ensure there safety of the residents here. Transients have begun living the in the bus stops attached to the community. They harass people in the day, and scream continually through the night. The management claims that they won't approach the city about moving the bus stop and claim that it's because people use the bus stop. The landing has 8+ bus stops?. Removing 2 in the community is not a hindrance.

Recently forgot to replace the doorknob on the master bedroom door (first thing I outlined in a recent service request) it still needs to be replaced. Also I have tried repeatedly to schedule a carpet cleaning and pest control going back to December of 2021. I was supposed to have earned said carpet cleaning as part of the terms of signing my lease extension in 2021. They continously refused to do either (citing excuse after excuse before finally saying my earned carpet cleaning has "expired") I have since had to handle the pest control out of my own pocket as it was a pressing issue. Nice complex, though not at all impressed with how staff has handled issues that have arisen. One would expect a lot more for the amount of money that you pay.

It’s dangerous to live here. Please read the photos I’ve attached of what residents have posted. Ask to read the ‘Community Wall’ not Facebook, before you sign anything. Our rent just went up A LOT and this is the latest issues we are having at Griffis. We only get half of the news because management regulates what gets posted. The sales office looks great but that’s about it. Ask them to walk you to the P2 elevator for building 3.. I’ve witnessed guys selling drugs by the elevator and a few days later starting a small fire on the top of a trash can. Anytime I notified management they had a snarky attitude and told me to call the police. There are very minimal cameras around. The ground is urine drenched and they refuse to power wash the grounds. Doors that don’t close all the way which adds to the car vandalism.. I’m tired of typing. There’s too much negative that they brush off for too much money I’m giving them.

The apartment is nice and updated open concept very roomy great amenities everything is very clean love the gym area good variety of machines good parking security excellent meeting rooms down side is existing the parking lot is very tight if not a skilled driver you will likely hit a wall and the package service they have is horrible takes days for you to get your package after its been delivered by Amazon or package carrier but you still have to pay for the service even if you don't like using it and can't complaint because theres no phone number only computer messaging and now the packages are missing and they won't do anything about it so you have to take the loss and management won't do anything about it either

I moved to Griffis Landing during the pandemic. Overall my experience has been pleasant. The Staff has been professional and empathetic to residents. My side of the complex has been fairly quiet and any concerns I had were addressed by the staff.

The property has great amenities, The staff is easy to work with and issues are addressed quickly. The location is very convenient. The increase in rent has been recently going up exponentially making the value harder to justify. There are apartments downtown metropolitan areas going for less than the Renton property with the same amount of amenities. There are a few required services that are not optional that can be problematic for residents who are required to pay but never use.

Friendly staff, very responsive to inquiries and made my move in a breeze. Secure building, plenty of assigned garage parking, close to shopping center, open floor plans with updated fixtures and floors make this a great place to call home. Too many amenities to name but the gym is two whole floors with plenty of variety.

Do not move to Griffis Lake Washington! I have lived here for a couple years and this will be my last. The staff and community have gone down hill fast. It is sold as a luxury apartment complex but is far from it. The staff gaslights the residents on major issues such as cleanliness and security. - It extremely loud, both the busy streets outside and in the internal courtyards. - The inside and outside of the complex is constantly dirty whether it is the trash/dog feces/human feces outside or the trash in the garage, halls/stairwells, and overflowing trash chutes. - There are serious security risks apartments trying to get broken into (we have deliver ring camera footage to the office and nothing was done), assaults in the garages, cars being broken into and general trespassers in the halls. - You are required to use a package service called Fetch, which is atrocious. We have had many packages lost by that company or delivered broken and damaged. The only decent qualities are the maintenance staff and it is close to some bars/shops, but even those are starting to leave.

Ground outside of elevators in parking garages are filthy. Several request have been made to power wash ground since move in have not been fulfilled once. Staff is sarcastic, unprofessional and unhelpful when notifying them that people are openly loitering and selling drugs on the property.

Great people in the office. Unfortunately disrespectful neighbors consistently smoking cigarettes, weed, and not cleaning up after their pets have made it an unpleasant place to live. Fetch also loses or delivers a package extremely late every month. People also tape or block sensors so strangers have free access to all the buildings making it feel unsafe. Overall I love the location and staff but not worth it due to the smells and consistently broken amenities (mostly due to renter mistreatment ex the hot tubs)

Don’t Move here!! Expensive and totally not worth the money. The management doesn’t care about their tenets enough to even reply to emails. The elevators are down every day and no one cares that you’re pregnant and can’t walk long distance. They charge you for utilities to upkeep the apartment complex and will still fail to fix anything that needs fixing. Regardless if you pay for a parking spot people still manage to park in your spot and the office will do nothing about it. Packages will get stolen from your front door right after the third party delivery company drops it off ( you have to pay for the third party company as well) Not a place I would recommend to anyone.

It was a big community and loved how my tour was very personable. I loved how Dyreian helped vision where to put furniture in the home. I love how close stores are, they are just walking distance and not fair from the freeway

This is a large community, if you like living around others this is a good place. If you want total quiet and to never be affected by others then don't move here. All in all it's quiet compared to other communities I've lived in. The elevators are painfully slow on move in/move out but otherwise, management does a good job of trying to keep everything in order. People with pets do let their animals potty around the building and sometimes inside the building so there's that but if owners won't be responsible idk what management could do to improve on that

Staff is friendly. There are some safety concerns with loiterers and not much seems to be done about it or communicated. There were shots fired in the parking garage a few weeks back as I was coming down the elevator. Several officers responded and the complex never even addressed or said anything. My apartment gets way to hot in the summer and there no window to connect A/C.
