This is a nice looking community and for the most part we personally do not have too many issues. However, seems That there is always issues with security and noises from outside and inside the complex. Also, many people have issues with having their packages stolen. Luckily, we have not. One thing that is annoying for us is the lack of security when needed for the price we pay the community and how maintenance seem to not always read your notes when requesting their services. Though, at least the job gets done. My experiences with the leasing office staff have always been a pleasant one, so that's a positive. Not quite sure how much power they really have in terms of solving reoccurring issues though. Hopefully it changes.

The staff is is nice and friendly. The apartment community is not clean and there are pests. The neighbors don't respect the property and other neighbors. The neighbors allow their pets to bark all night, not use a leash and don't clean up after them

Beautiful property but the security is contracted out. I don't feel safe here. The office team members are fun and kind, but their hands are tied due to it being such a huge corporate property. Don't expect rent negotiations or much empathy.

My experience has been great here. The community is clean and the apartments are built well so I can never hear the neighbors on my floor. Every issue that has come up over the years whether maintenance related or tenant related has been resolved quickly. I feel safe and most of the people I've met around my building have been friendly. I would say common courtesy (for apt living) is the only thing that gets brought up a lot on the community wall- noisy neighbors at 3am, dogs barking all night, people not cleaning up after themselves.. With such a large community of people there are bound to be some that just don't care unfortunately. I still enjoy my apartment very much and have no plans to leave anytime soon.

The community is beautiful. Very expensive but beautiful. The floor plan is huge. And our leasing agent has been beyond helpful step by step. Moving in was a headache. But now that we're all settled. We love this place and this community. Looking forward to spending the rest of the summer exploring the amenities and the area as a whole.

The office staff was excellent and helped in the moving process. The were present from the beginning of the search and continued all the way until my staff was moved. They even assisted in getting all of my accounts activated for the move.

We've moved into a couple of apartments and have toured a bunch while apartment hunting. Katrina was our leasing agent and was absolutely amazing. Made sure we were aware of everything and anything. She also made sure that we saw everything that Griffis Lake has to offer to residents and their pet companions. We came back to this property at least 3 times to check things out just because that's how great it is here. They consistently take in feedback and immediately work to solve the issue, whether it's small issues with your apartment blinds or a concern you have with the property. Granted, not a lot of other residents can be kind and respectful, but the staff here still work hard to keep us all happy. We moved in on a day where Katrina wasn't working and Brandi stepped right up to answer our questions, show us around, make sure we were situated, and quickly corrected anything that wasn't in place already. We've only been here for a little over two weeks and we love it here. I really cannot see anything that would change my mind.

Moved here a while ago and keep on renewing my lease. Convenience and location make this a great place to be. The management team is great and I really enjoy my interactions with them. Can get noisy but that is just about any complex you live in.

The staff has been great to work with, but our unit was not ready when we moved in. Doors did not fit/close, plumbing under the sink was leaking, flooring was buckled severely, bathtub did not drain at all, and the worst was the smell of cigarettes in this "non smoking" building - The previous tenants smoked in the bathroom with the vents on and it smelled horrible.

So far so good! The location is amazing! The only downside is that there is no built in A/C, although there are hookups available. The people are very nice, and the amenities are amazing. It's also nice that we are in true walking distance from The Landing. Would definitely recommend it here.

This apartment complex has very nice amenities, but it all is charged in some way, not evident by the price of rent. You are charged for "common area" water/sewer/garbage/electricity to the tune of 200% of what you would in a single family home; you are charged for each parking spot even though there is no public parking within reasonable distance; you are charged for trash "valet" services and for a delivery service, whether or not you use them. Further, there is no A/C even on the upper floors which get unbearably hot if the temps hit 80 or above - no amount of fans will bring the temp below 84 in the apartment (and that's if it's only 80 degrees outside!).

It has been good, not many issues. I am not a fan of the valet garage service, some residents do not use the garage cans and will just leave their garbage bags in the hallway and that is an eyesore. Other than that, no real issues.

Our heating expenses are lower because one side of the apartment is inside which keeps it warmer in the winter. The maintenance staff is really great. During 2020 when everything was shut down we had two appliances go out. The washer was replaced within three days and the refrigerator replaced with 24 hrs. Thus we did not even have to throw out the milk!

Very assessable to highways - and airport. Rent has been a challenge for one person to pay - and its a one bedroom, one bath. $2100, doesn't come by easy - I have given up school to make sure I was never late with rent. I like this place becuase I feel safe, but I am paying a price for that.

I enjoy the location of Griffis Lake Washington apartments. It is walking distance to many stores restaurants salons etc. I enjoy walking to Lake Washington near by. I love that my dog is allowed and dog runs are on the property with stocked dog bags. The office staff is friendly and quick about work orders. My husband and I are very happy to have our home here.

Griffis has beautiful apartments. When we were moving we were in love with the apartments in bellevue and seattle, but felt like that would be too far from work, family and friends. Griffis had apartment styles similar to those of bellevue and Seattle but in Renton. I love the modern style and clean look.

Overall, the experience has been very positive. The leasing staff are responsive, pleasant, and helpful. The proximity to The Landing and Gene Coulon park is very nice for shopping access and spending time outdoors. The building as a whole is kept relatively clean, and the maintenance crew quickly resolves messes when they are brought to their attention. The newly renovated common area amenities are well executed, in my opinion. I also appreciate the overall aesthetic of the buildings. Parking for each set of buildings is in a two level garage. Some of the spaces are pretty cramped, but many have plenty of space.

My experience here is good so far going into a month of living here. Very pet friendly, neighbors are very friendly with pets, everyone is very courteous. Apartment is very nice with the gym and pool amenities. Love the balcony we have, even the dogs love going out on the balcony too get their sun bathe going!
