Great! My only complaint is that the elevators are much too slow. Maintenance and service are always fast and well done. Quiet hours are rigorously observed. I know because I wear hearing aids and one evening I was watching TV and had neglected to put my hearing aids back in after a shower and security was there rather quickly to ask me to please turn down my TV! Public areas are cleaned regularly and trash is quickly removed if it is left out in the trash rom rather than dropped down the chute. They also provide an evening pick-up of trash at your doorway Sunday though Thursday evenings. Overall, a pretty good place to live.

Overpriced and amenities promised were never completed. Still under construction. Trash services are overpriced and hardly used. The entry doors were always broken, had to go down the elevator to let visitors in. Still is not fixed. Broke back in January.

I just moved in and had a pretty good experience so far. Leasing was very helpful but the toilet was not fully cleaned and we had a light out when moving in. All of my questions were answered quickly and friendly.

I have lived here 5 months. This is a wonderful location with walking access to many services such as restaurants, entertainment, health and transportation. The Management and Maintenance Team is very kind, caring and works hard to to make your stay enjoyable. The floor plan is modern, easy to maintain and cozy! Covered parking , storage units, front door package and trash services and a pet friendly environment make this a great place to call home! The diverse and welcoming apt community is big plus!

Noise, filth, and inconsiderate residents in this "community." Few residents pick up after their dogs. There's feces in the dog areas (I once counted over 30 piles), in the landscaped areas, and on the sidewalks. There are piles of feces left right next to the dog bag stations. Because of this, the dog yards are useless to me. I don't need to add vet treatment for leptospirosis to my monthly bills. In addition to the feces, there are other bodily fluids frequently found, including in the elevators. Especially after Fri/Sat nights. While there's little noise heard through the walls between apartments, there's noise constantly. If you face Lowe's, you'll hear the beeping of the forklift at 6am. If you face The Landing, you'll get the noise of drunk people coming out of the bars. If you face a courtyard, you'll hear EVERYTHING. Domestic disputes, people having "romantic" moments, and pandemic parties. Especially in warm weather, when windows must stay open. Even if 90% of the residents are quiet and respectful, 10% of 90 units facing the courtyard means noise every day/night. Some of the people in the office are wonderful. Every interaction with Brandi has been positive and helpful. Others, however, have been less pleasant. One woman was downright surly. Recently, the entire office staff went "virtual" without notice, but have not said if it was due to someone testing positive for COVID. Speaking of COVID, most people wear masks, but most isn't enough in a community this size. Especially in an elevator. So, if you are high-risk, you'll probably end up taking the stairs most of the time. For whatever monthly rent is quoted, add $150+. They add on charges for community electricity, sewer, and other random fees, plus a parking spot rental, and "valet services," which you don't have the option to decline, but add no real benefit. Take, for example, Fetch delivery "service." Add a full day to any delivery, because you have to first have your packages shipped to a warehouse in Seattle, then wait for them to acknowledge receipt before you can schedule a delivery. Sometimes, there is a delay of 5-6 hours between Amazon confirming delivery and Fetch confirming receipt. Residents are constantly posting of missing and mis-delivered packages and other problems. And for this, they add $25/mo to your rent. Also a "valet trash service" which picks up a single bag of trash 5 nights a week and walks it 10 steps to the trash chute. Another $25/mo you can't opt out of. The positives are the proximity to shops and restaurants, but that's not really a benefit during the pandemic. The apartment, itself, is okay. I got a better price because mine has not been updated. The kitchen is a good size, as is the bathroom. The bedroom is small, but okay. Appliances are pretty low-quality, but functional. Overall, this community is pretty gross. I started looking at other properties one month into my lease. Can't wait to leave. If you're not bothered by noise and dog poop, this is the place to go!

Bad management. Over priced. No ameneties at the moment. Charge for parking despite not having street parking. Neighbors who don't curve their dogs. The place looks good at first but it's not at all...

I absolutely LOVE the Management Team and the Maintenance Gentlemen Team (that's what I call them), here at Griffis Lake Washington! They have done SO MUCH to make my home here special for me! I have lived here for 6 years and have no plans to move. When Griffis Lake Washington became the new name, and came with new Ownership, I have to admit, I wasn't sure if I'd like it. But I love living here! Every single person who's in the main office, has had to help me in one way or another, and I can honestly say they are WONDERFUL to me! When I first moved here, I lived in a studio and that's a very tiny space, and I loved it! But when I new for sure that I was moving into a bigger apartment here, they did such a wonderful job finding me the best apartment ever, and then made it so special for me and for my Granddaughter Ladybug who's with me, 3 - 4 days a week while Mom and Dad work. My home was made special just for her, and the Maintenance Gentleman have made every effort to take care of my home quickly, and with respect for me and my home. I look forward to staying here for a very long time! I would recommend Griffis Lake Washington to anyone and everyone! They will make you feel cared for and trust me...you are not just a number here. You will be taken care of! ????

You absolutely get why you pay for. These apartments and amenities are not cheap, but if you are looking for a high standard of living, this is the place for you. Staff is great, common areas are well kept, and the security presence is actually felt, not just advertised.

I have had an excellent time at Griffis Lake Washington. The leasing agents and community manager have always been showed/treated me with respect. 99% of my maintenance requests have been answered immediately and fixed. The building has also been renovated and I love how it looks.

I have been living at this apartment for two years. Beware they charge for all utilities that are utilized community wide. Such as the water used in all common area you are charged for. They hired this waste company to come and clean the garbage rooms and have charged the residents for this service. The amount of money we pay for this apartment is just as much as the apartments in Seattle. It is not worth it. We will NOT be renewing. Attached is a copy of the 175.00 in extra charges we occur on top of the rent. It is ridiculous!

Pros: - Good, thick walls between apartments. - Package delivery to your door - Can set up autopay - Granite countertops ++ - Most people seem nice Cons: - Slow Elevators - Parking Space not Included - Fireplaces are electric and lame. (Maybe that's a + for safety, tho) - Unforgiving late payment fees - Every once in a while prowlers go thru the parking garage looking for open cars or things they can nab. - views aren't the best - mediocre heating using inconveniently positioned mini wall heaters.

Larissa and her team were very helpful from the beginning of the application process to move in day. Larissa helped me find the perfect unit for me. Love the layout of my unit and all the updates. Enjoy the security the apartment offers. Awesome location as well!

I've been here for 3 days. Everything is fine. Seems nice. I like the building, and amenities. The staff while helpful might need an extra reminder on their follow ups. Like anything it might take a bit to find your way around the building. The security seems good. I like the updated and looking apartment. Nice location for shopping and dining.

Have not been able to use any of the amenities since moving in (about a year ago), utilities and apartment fees are too high - why am I paying for A/C in the hallways?? Fetch delivery service is AWFUL and not a timely way of getting my packages delivered. Noise from the bus stop below my apartment is always noisy.

Please do not have Mali communicate with me any longer. I have a history of discrimination that is escalating from her towards me and it is obvious. Nora was a great asset to the team and is no longer there.

Rent is high for the size of apartment. Community management has inconsistent communication patterns and does not seem to prioritize the sharing information with the community. Fire alarms triggered frequently since Covid quarantine began.

I feel my entire stay here in Griffis Lake Washington has been inside of a construction zone for a hotel. The planned renovations took an extremely long time, partly due to covid, and for all that time and effort that was put into the renovation of the courtyards I really don't see much of an improvement. You are also charged to receive packages here because they use a 3rd party service to receive their packages. This means all amazon prime deliveries will be delayed, sometimes as much as a day or two, because another company needs to sorry you're package then drive it to you from their warehouse. You are also charged for your trash to be taken from your door regardless if you want to use that service. Overall an average resident pays $1000 a year just to have their trash removed from their porch and to receive packages, you tell me that sounds fair. I plan on leaving when my lease is up.

I think that the leasing office should be more proactive not only when looking for clients to rent the apartments, but also when verifying that apartments are indeed in perfect condition to be inhabited by new residents. In my case, the person from the leasing office was totally unconcerned about the delivery of my apartment, the condition of the apartment, which I found quite dirty, and with many repairs to be made. Also, I was NEVER actually given a tour of the property, so I still don't know a lot about it. The excuse, COVID-19. How about great customer service? Additionally, regarding COVID-19, I am concerned that residents do not wear masks in common areas such as elevators and parking lot; so, they do not care about other's health conditions. Furthermore, there are also balconies where people put sheets and articles that make us think that we are living in a marginal area, which I don't like. Those residents are almost to the point to put the clothes on the balconies to dry, which is quite disgusting !!! however, the leasing office is not doing anything in that regard.
