All the delayed construction is Frustrating. Lots of changes done without asking the tenants thoughts or opinions. The hallway painting choice is not nice, new doors doesn't match. Guest cannot put in your apartment number to get in the building..... screen is black and has been for a long time.

This is a Wonderful community- close to freeways, shopping, and public transportation. The building has lots of upgrades which shows that management takes pride in the appearance of the community. It's a safe welcoming environment.

The local management team is nice and friendly but they are hampered by strict national management rules and guidelines (or at least that is what local management claims). National management rules are strict and sometime incomprehensible, They never request local resident input regarding anything so we the residents suffer from crazy ideas and shutdowns that we don't need or want on an inflexible time line. They waste a lot of money doing unnecessary projects.

Staff needs better training, so they can be fully knowledgeable of their policies, procedures, and resources; management needs to learn a better sense of accountability; management needs to learn that sending a mass messaging isn't an "action" to solve issues, such as people smoking cigarettes or weed in their apartment, therefore creating a highly polluted air within the apartment complex community; there are a lot of mandatory "additional" charges that don't make sense but renters have to pay because they have to - these services apply to some but not all residents.

Great community for pet lovers in a good, centralized location. There are a wide variety of places to shop and eat close by, within walking distance. The customer service and maintenance staff are exceptional.

Moved in at the end of Dec. 2020. Ronnie from the leasing team was extremely helpful and had no issues with answering each and every single one of my questions. So far, everything is great! The community can be a tiny bit noisy at times (dogs barking, kids running around, neighbors talking/walking) but this is to be expected while living in an apartment. It's secure (double locks in units, key fob to enter everywhere) and I've personally seen security patrolling the garage at night/early morning.

Living at Griffis has been pleasant. Front office personnel are very good at addressing any issues you might be experiencing with your unit. My concern; however, has been the the zero security surveillance at parking areas. Cars will get broken into so always make sure to take out any valuables and lock your car. My car has not gotten broken into yet (fingers crossed) but if it were there is no way to identify the culprit.

All in all this is a nice place to live. Its generally quiet and very clean. The staff is friendly and will try to solve your issue. I know its unpopular but I personally like the valet trash service. The housekeeping staff does a great job keeping things clean, even when the people that live here are disrespectful of the property. Its very accessible to the Landing, which is the #1 reason i picked here. The apartment interiors are very nice. Clean, modern and logical layouts. The layouts in the refurbished apts were clearly thought about for ease of living. And the details of the desgin in the common areas (something i notice personally) have had a lot of thought as well. A handful of things thats not so great but nearly all of that is from your neighbors. Package theft, and poor security are the most glaring issues. (But I know the staff is aware of both and working on resolution, and so far theyve been really good about trying to fix things that aren't great) And others being disrespectful of the rules (smoking, dogs peeing in the parking garage etc). But to a couple without kids, a retiree or a single professional, this is a great place to live. I wouldn't recommend it to families just because there isn't much in the way of outdoor areas to play, and I don't >think< the schools are great, but I honestly wouldn't know.

Very well maintained community. Management staff is friendly and responsive. I enjoy living here and would recommend this community to friends and family. I like being able to walk to shops and restaurants as well as being close to the freeway. 15 minutes from the airport or 15 minutes to downtown Seattle.

Fast, courteous service from both office ad maintenance staff. Once the gym upgrade and pandemic is over, the amenities will be great. If you require quiet, this may not be the community for you.; the walls are thin and the pool side unit are very active during the warmer months.

I am 88 years old. I moved here after the death of my older son from cancer. It was also anew experience to be for me to be alone. I found that I enjoy being alone! I smile and say hello to people that I come in contact with. I am content.

Well this is the second time I have asked maintenance to fix this pipe. It is still currently leaking on the car and is corroding/etching the paint. This has happened before. Everything else has been OK.

I was preparing for work and my wedding ring fell down the shower drain. I scheduled a maintenance service request and I called the main office. Within 5 minutes, Luis, one of the Griffis maintenance workers knocked on my door. Luis was respectful and professional and retrieved my ring 10 minutes later. I am so thankful for the excellent service rendered. The outstanding service is consistent with the first-rate maintenance service I have received at Griffis since we moved here in 2017.

I am so happy with my experience at Griffis Lake Washington so far. I am a new renter in the area and was looking for a place to call home, and everyone has been so nice and kind at this apartment complex. Specifically, Kristin in the lease office has been the most kind, knowledgeable, and truly a great person to help in my search for an apartment. To be honest, she is partially the reason that I was convinced to purchase my lease. I was already fairly convinced to live here, but her knowledge and kindness really helped me decide. The company is very transparent about all costs associated with a lease. Kristin even went out of her way to help me set up everything I needed. It is a fair price for the quality that one receives in a new lease. 10/10!

From the tour to move-in, staff have been extra attentive and professional. Our leasing specialist, Larissa, is amazing. She made sure that we were taken care of and satisfied with our choices. She was also understanding of our needs and budget which was very helpful since there were a lot to choose from. We are very happy to be Griffis residents.

Poorly maintained. Office does not follow through with resident concerns.... always has ----/glass on sidewalks.... maintenance doesn't give a ---- and doesn't minds needing to come back 4 or 5 times.

The apartment is accessible to entertainment, shopping and foods/groceries. But the monthly con service fees for amenities etc are too expensive (100-190/month additional). Quiet hours of 10:00 pm to 8:00 am but only in paper, continuous noise from next door or upstairs neighbor cannot be prevented, security said that unless the noise is heard from the entire hallway, they will not knock and ask the loud noise to be turned down. Dogs peed on the garage floor and almost daily on the hood of my car, but nothing was done to stop. Lease break fee is too high at times like this where we are all affected by this pandemic.

It's okay. Honestly it is not worth what we pay for it, but because of the location at the landing and so close to lake Washington we don't have a choice. The staff is helpful when you're moving in but after that they ignore you or placate you.

Overall, my time in this community has been enjoyable. The short walk to shopping, finding and the lake is my favorite part. The office staff is friendly and does the best they can to communicate clearly.

The interior of the apartments are nice but there is no sense of community even before the pandemic. Street noise from all of the modded cars is crazy at times. I have also had a problem with the neighbor's dog biting me unprovoked and the same dog being unrestrained and attacking my dog on the sidewalk in front of the building. Management chose to do nothing about the original incident.

Clean, good condition. Parking garage is tight with small spaces, rent is not cheap. Helpful people at the leasing office. Pets allowed which is convenient. Nice to live near the Landing with lots of amenities.

The professionals here had everything ready to go prior to my move date. All paperwork / expectations were clearly communicated and either completed or ready to complete the day I showed up. Everything was communicated and clear from the fees, to the community expectations, to additional steps to make sure my move in was as easy as possible. I was able to unpack and relax day one in my apartment.
