Great location, clean common areas, roomy apartment, parking garage that is covered. Dogs are allowed. Balcony is a great space with storage space. People can be quite loud but it isn't too bad. Nice staff.

Rent has increased too much, for what you get.Garage is dirty and needs a good power washing. Pets are not looked after properly by their owners and let them pee in elevators. BBQ area is dirty and equipment needs repair.

This apartment complex is overpriced because of the location it's at. That's the only thing that we, the residents are paying for. The grounds are dirty and untaken care of, there is dog poop everywhere (and I own a dog, and am aware of the rules), the dog areas are disgusting, probably full of bacteria, the elevators are a constant frustration, from being reserved to broken ALL THE TIME! It is unacceptable when one elevator is down broken, for the other one next to it to be reserved! That make me waste 10 extra minutes to walk the building corner to corner and try to figure out which elevator works! The rent should not increase 10% or more each time you sign a new lease - why is that?! There is no reason to.The rent should also be 20% less that it is right now, that will keep the residents happier and probably less complaining about the management. I don't think I have heard ONE person since I moved here that they are happy living here, me included. But for some of us, we can't just pick up and go move somewhere else year after year, because we have kids in school and we need them to NOT change schools every year because of a new residence.

No one cares about "sense of community", however, what tenets do care about is cleanliness, nosiness and security of their apartment building. The first two are definitely lacking. There is dog urine around every elevator and garbage can on P1 and P2 level. It looks and smells terribly. It's unacceptable. There is a lot of dog barking noise (especially during warmer months when people have open widows). Brake ins in to the cars occasionally happen at parking lots. Elevators are often out of order.

Community is in transition to new management and I have been advised a renovation and clean up is underway. I just received my keys so I have not had time to properly rate some of these questions. If the information I received is accurate and maintenance starts taking care of some of the TLC (paint in hallways, better cleaning schedule in common areas, repair of damaged and dinged doors... ) Overall I love the location and amenities the community offers I just hope to see a bit more clean up and care in apartment move in condition and common hall ways.

Griffis Lake Washington took over a few months before I moved in. The staff is very friendly including the maintenance team. They strive to make sure that they succeed in making you happy and to make sure that it is a great experience. Haley is one of the leasing agents and she has just been wonderful throughout the whole process. Breyden is one of the maintenance staff and he has been very efficient and very helpful and gets the job done. This team is amazing!

Pros-Location is perfect. Walking distance to stores, movies, restaurants, park etc. New management, safe area, parking garage. Cons-please note Griffis is new management and seem to be working on issues from past management. There are no lake view apartments, all is blocked by buildings. Elevators are very slow. Noise level is for most part minor. Needs some updates, painting, electrical etc. Halls need to be cleaned. Garbage cans are often overflowing in garages.

This has been a good community to live in, a lot of amenities and the new owners handle concerns quickly. Security concerns are also handled very well by Keep the Peace. I would recommend this community.

DO NOT rent an apartment in this community if you value and appreciate clean and well maintained communal areas, working elevators, clean trash rooms with operable doors and shutes. The property manager thinks its ok to walk in trash (because its only a little bit of trash - a fortune cookie wrapper)...unacceptable. Nasty place to live and poorly maintained since Griffis Lake Washington purchased the property. These people are slum lords!

Amenities and location are amazing- although Seattle apartment pricing is getting out of hand and making it difficult to live virtually anywhere.. hopefully current tenants can maintain their apt without an increase in rent.. moving repeatedly is a pain.

Nice property and I like my apartment. Friendly and responsive staff. The garbage in the Elevator 1 area isn't adequate for how often it is filled. The area needs to be pressure washed. It is the first impression for visitors seeing my place.

Not a good experience. Ownership changed recently with less experience than previous owners. Experienced many issues. Wouldn't recommend as there are other alternatives in the area at or below the price point.

Loving our new home at Griffis Lake Washington. The space, amenities and staff could not be nicer and they're going to be renovating more! I am looking forward to a long stay here. I will be referring all my family and friends to live here when they decide to move!

I love this community because of the wonderful staff and maintenance is super efficient. The amenities are great and it is so peaceful. Will be upgrading to a 2 bedroom apartment in the near future and because of the great location it will definitely be here at Griffis Lake Washington.

This community is very quiet unless you are facing the pool in the summer, you will hear people until 10pm June-September. Elevators are kept clean but run slow. Hallways are kept clean. Grounds are kept nice. Garbage can be smelly especially in the summer but they do try to keep on it. You can hear your neighbors in the hallway but otherwise it's very quiet. Parking garage is tight but convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful. Gym is nice and clean. The location is walking distance to everything you may need or want.

We moved in two years ago and love this community. It was getting a bit rough prior to Griffis Residential taking over, but they have really revitalized the building, staff, and overall living conditions. The office staff is so helpful and friendly. They have brought the community together through their online portal as well as community events. They are working hard to make lots of improvements to the buildings and I'm very excited for the new interior design they are doing, very clean and bright with modern upgrades that these apartments really needed. The location is the best, so much around you and access to the 405 is a minute away. The only downside is that the pool isn't heated at this time and is like an ice bath even during the hottest days of the summer. The other amenities are well worth the money and it's so nice having different rooms for cardio, yoga, and weights. Plus there is plenty of machines too and they keep in good condition. The only downside are some of the residents don't respect the building and damage things and leave messes in the halls; including dog urine. But I don't think this will be an issue for long, the staff is working hard to end this nonsense.

Over priced and the elevators are constantly under repair. When they're in working condition they make you feel like you're going to drop to your death. Maintenance request are resolved quickly. Location is very convenient.

Great location- having the shopping complex next door makes living so easy! Low maintenance and when there is something that's needed, it happens quickly and is right the first time. Feels very safe. Wish there was better signage though

This is home ... it's all what you make it. It took me awhile to adjust to living in such a large apartment complex. However, over time I created my space by embracing and incorporating many of the benefits offered that fit my needs. It's a place for families, couples and singles. It's a place for those who are in transition or ready to settle, like me. I love that every effort is made by management to respect, build and maintain community while honoring and protecting an individual's right to comfort, safety and privacy. Wow, I really do enjoy living here! I love coming home!

Not very good with the last owners. Lots of losing paperwork and sloppiness. Quite impressed by this new team! Hopefully there will be community events. Fitness activities. Vending machines back to work. Response time with new staff has been an issue. Hopefully it will improve. I'm sure the new owners are overwhelmed

I love living at Griffin Lake Washington. The floor plans are very well thought out, the amenities are great and the location is ideal! There is no need for a gym membership here as the gym has great equipment. The building is so well built that you barely hear your neighbors which is probably the best feature for me since I am extremely noise sensitive.

the apartment is pretty nice although the parking spaces are too tight and the hottub seems to be either out of order or it just isn't open late enough for me to get use out of it. the rent feels like Bellevue pricing but we sure aren't in bellevue
