The Sanctuary is no longer an acceptable place to live. Security, cleanliness and maintenance are decreasing by the day and rents are increasing. Pet excrement, human body fluids, trash, smells and crime are just a fee of the reasons to avoid this property along with regular rent increases. The regional property managers are very unconcerned with complaints are ignore issues. I am too ashamed of the conditions here to have visitors. Huge, loud, dangerous dog breeds are allowed here and not controlled. Very unsafe place. Not worth the tour or waste of money.

I lived at the sactuary for three years. I was actually one of the first residents when it was first built. There are pros and cons; just like every apartment complex. Pros: *Nice layout, was brand new apartment, decent appliances *I had excellent service from staff- Chad was awsome (there were a few times we had noisy residents where they would play music loud in the courtyard or had a party, the issue was taken care of right away). Cons: *Parking was an issue if you had two cars *Garage is not secure, my car was broken into (but this can happen anywhere) *When I moved out; I was given incorrect information from one of the staff members (she was new, I wish I had it in writing). Since the office was closed Jan 1st and my move out date was Jan 1st; she said I could turn my key in on the 2nd at no charge. Unfortunatly, I was charged an extra day. When I called the office the assistant manager (also new) appoligized and said it was incorrect information; but did not refund me the money and said he could not refund me the money. I had no energy to argue with him.

Complete waste of money. Looks nice at first, but living here is terrible. The only nice thing about living here is the location. Besides that, you pay WAY too much for the total lack of quality. Parking garage gates are broken constantly, the elevators are the slowest I've ever encountered and the stairs are extremely inconvenient, there was once a dog turd in our hallway for over a week, someone was lighting fires in one of the stairwells and the management never did anything about it (a resident had to call the police for action to be taken), there was a dumpster fire once that evacuated the entire complex, the workout machines in the gym are broken regularly, we've met other residents who've had their cars and storage units broken into, the elevators break down way too (people have gotten trapped for hours) - elevators in a 3 year old building that experience relatively low traffic should not be breaking down. So, don't be fooled, this place is the worst for how much it costs.

Overall it is a nice place, with good access to highway and all directions, and a staff that works hard to make residents happy. Great location, contemporary look, great staff, generally clean, nice amenities, close (within walking distance!) to shopping, lake beach, movie theater, and decent dining places (I like). But, located at busy intersection makes it noisy (I can't keep window open and watch TV or be on the phone!)and dusty (I dislike). There are speed bumpers throughout the garage; If located behind your parking spot the parking process becomes quite challenging (I dislike).

I had a very pleasant experience from the start. I made a couple of phone calls to Sanctuary before I visited and they were very friendly and professional at the same time. Last week I went into the office and Trina made it easy to make my decision to pick this place. When I applied online, there might have been some glitch in a system ( or simply an user error ....) I ended up reserving the room I didn't really want. When Trina noticed that on her end she immediately gave me a phone call and fixed it for me. All the staff seems to have the attitude of willing to work with you. My unit is a studio but it has a large walking closet and the bathroom is huge. The kitchen has many storage spaces and modern. With the large window it feels bigger than what it is. I'm looking forward to moving in.

N/A

Likes and Dislikes: Upsides: Incredible location, nice amenities, beautiful apartments and friendly staff. Downsides: Sanctuary installed key fobs at garage exits as well as entrances two months ago but never activated them. Massive amount of on-foot tailgating through the back entrance into P2. Elevators are slower than molasses. Car break-ins in visitor parking areas. Annual fire inspection was rescheduled, inconveniencing many tenants with pets. Clubhouse is pay-only (approximately $25/hour) after office hours.

I live in one of the biggest one bedroom floor plans & it is pretty nice and cozy. PROS: Huge walk in closet Right next to the elevator Trash disposal is on the same floor and convenient Neighbors are pretty great (never had an issue with anyone) When my packages come and I'm not home they're sent to the office (So easy & convenient for me again) A good amount of visitors parking The maintenance is pretty good at coming and fixing things at a timely manner You get one free parking spot in the parking garage It's a pretty secured building (safe to live in w/o a lot of worries) CONS: It is SO expensive The carpet is super cheap so the floor does get super dirty for no reason after a couple months. The walls are so thin you can hear everything... and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING Buying things and bringing them up is SUCH a pain in the butt. You have to get through the building, carry it up the elevator and sometimes the destination is so far. The elevator seems to always be acting up. Especially when I'm in a rush and the elevator is out of order or someone is using it to move in you have to go all the way around and go down flights of stairs or walk to the other side of the building to the other elevator. That is just not convenient at all. On top of that, I would say thats happened about at least 4-5 times in one month. The elevator is also way tooooo slow. So don't be surprised. Either than that this place is super nice to live at. Walking distance to anything at the landing and it convenient. Expensive but I guess you get what you pay for.

Unsafe area - unsecured garage Just last night my driver side window was smashed and the car ransacked. Stolen goods dropped up elevator 6. Would appear to be a fellow tenant No camera's watching the garage or elevator. Police will not come for a simple break-in. Building security had nothing to say. No help from the building to clean the glass that is now everywhere around my car. Update: I have just found out that 2 weeks prior a car was stolen from the same garage, two spaces from mine. Management here knew of the theft but did not alert anybody of the theft. How many other robberies have happened here?

There are definite pro's and con's to this place, and I will honestly go through each, but overall NO, I do not recommend. It seemed nice at first, the apartments are new and clean and the grounds are nice, but it is WAY too expensive for what you get. On top of that, be prepared to get nickel-&-dimed for EVERYthing and dealing with the management. Not worth it. They advertise luxury "hardwood floors" and "granite countertops", etc. etc. But they are all fake. The floors are fake wood paneling stuff, and all the granite is tiled (a very cheap solution), with raw wood underneath... The kitchen bar had unpainted wood with nails and caulk and everything still showing?? I mean it looks fine, but it just seems sneaky to advertise "luxury" when really they are doing everything at a bargain-price point and charging exorbitant rent. Cabinets were cheap but looked fine. Appliances were good / new. Carpet was VERY cheap, it started showing serious wear after only 3-4 months of normal household use, no kids or dogs. (Then they charge you $500 out of your deposit to replace it! :) Be ready for that big whammy on your move out bill!) Parking garage is a nice touch, assigned and pay-per-spot. Be prepared to run down the management to get your packages, every time we went to the office we had to hunt for someone to help and I always felt like a huge inconvenience. OH and your rent will go up $250/mo every year. Yeah, im serious. That was a definite deal-breaker for us. $1800 a month for a very small one bedroom in RENTON is not worth it. TL;DR; New and clean, but cheaply made. Extremely overpriced. Charged tons of fees on move-in and move-out. Just dont.

When I first moved in...
When I first moved in it seemed as thou tenants were being screened. Now it seems as if anyone is able to move in. The elevator has been set on fire. The carpet in the stairwell have been set on fire or a good try and has not been replaced. The garage gates are often broken and it takes weeks to repair. The elevators are often down. The elevators should not be shut down for tenants to move in or out. The elevators lead to the street and I pay too much rent to be inconveniences on the weekends, my only days off. I have lived at the Sanctuary for 3 years and should receive some type of incentive. The parking garage should be hosed down periodically. The black oil and grease from the garage floor is being tracked into the units. The hallway carpets should be shampooed often. PETS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE PATIO AREA. IN THE SUMMERTIME PEOPLE SHOULD BE ABLE TO WALK AROUND THAT AREA AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT POOP. The Cabana should be not have a fee for usage. Tenants should be able to reserve the space and held responsible for clean up and/or damage. I am very disappointed with how things have changed since I first moved in. I plan to move soon and will chock this experience up as a learning experience not to be forgotten. A little over a year ago, I reported that a liquid substance dripped on the roof of my convertable car and requested that it be cleaned. The roof of my car is damaged and management did nothing to take care of the issue. Nor has the leek been repaired.

Itâ??s a beautiful place...
Itâ??s a beautiful place to live and convenient too. There are a few things that could be better. Security is in place but there are gaps. I wish the folks living her would have more respect and abide by the rules such as pool and hot tub closes at 10:00 pm. Also seeing the secured doors and gates with something to prevent them from closing completely so as anyone else can walk in. The parking garage can be a little challenging to park at times because the slots are very small.

I had good experience...
I had good experience living here and I rated 5 *****. One minor concern if you live in the studio. If you have an off-schedule up-stair neighbor, it can be a little bit tricky. I lived here before in the 2 bedroom apt, I never heard any noise. But now I'm living in a studio and my up-stair neighbor do laundry at 3am in the morning or vacuum at mid-night. This can be headache.
