BROOKSIDE is very comforting. I am very excited to be apart of the community. It’s a very great experience speaking with the agents about my apartment and they made it easy for me to move into Brookside.

Brookside has been an amazing experience, all the staff is so helpful and great at communicating. Whenever we have an issue with something they come and fix it right away!! They go above and beyond as well. When we brought up a differnt issue they came and fixed that too same day:)

It’s super quiet here, I heard it was a horrible complex. But I haven’t had any of those issues here. Only a couple of things that have happened but didn’t notice it happened because it’s been really quiet.

If I were to write a review of my current experience here at Brookside 112 as stated in my other dissections. I would say that the releasing office staff are very nice accommodating and helpful and professional. I will say when I first came to view the model unit here at Brookside 112 in Vancouver, Washington. The model home looks much nicer than the apartment that I actually moved into. I live in a two bedroom two bath apartment and it is just a hair under 900 ft.². I moved in December 8 of 2025. I was surprised that the living room dining room kitchen area has one singular small box heater that is in the wall for that entire area. It’s concerning for a couple of different reasons… One of those reasons being that these box heaters that are installed into the wall can be fire hazards if you leave them on for too long, which I do have to leave on for all day when I’m at home to heat the place up. Now I did buy my own heater for the living room also which helps. But to have one heater in a section of the apartment that is that large seems not only cruel but very cheap. I recently also stumbled upon the fact that the box heaters will turn on by themselves if it gets to a certain temperature in the apartment that’s low enough. This is concerning for me as well, because I travel extensively for work and not only am I not home every night but sometimes I’m in a different state across the country. If it turned on and I wasn’t here, it could start a fire. I would’ve thought that the apartment would at least have had central heating. The hot water for the apartment is a whole different issue… I’ve put in about six maintenance requests to fix my hot water. The leasing office has put in another three or four on my behalf as well. I’ve been told by maintenance staff that the maintenance supervisor told them after my second or third request to fix my hot water that anytime I put in a maintenance request for the hot water to just close it out and count it as completed because I was apparently “just using too much hot water“. This is completely unacceptable. I’ve been living here for now six weeks and I still don’t have my hot water resolved. I at one point put a timer on before I took a shower and then stopped it once I was done and the timer read 10 minutes. By the end of my shower, the water was cold. The appliances are dated. The dryer you have to turn on at least two times to dry a load of clothes. The washer will not fill up with water to cover the clothes that you have in the machine, unless you press the “deep fill“ button on the machine until it fills all the way up. I wrote the washer and dryer up as well and a maintenance technician changed the dryer hose and said hopefully that would fix that issue, and then told me that the maintenance supervisor Joseph in no way would approve me to get a new washer and dryer. He said when any requests come in to fix or replace items in the apartment. They are promptly turned down as that’s what “he’s supposed to do.” as of now, and given the chance if I could afford it… Which I can’t… I would move out and find new accommodations. I wouldn’t recommend anybody to live here. For the money that you pay here you could get something that’s a lot nicer.

Brookside 112 is a family oriented complex. While the complex is fairly large, it is very quiet and friendly. Over the two years of my occupancy, I have met neighbors, enjoyed complex wide activities and enjoyed the amenities. My neighbors are friendly, several have been long term residents. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood, a central location (easy access to I-205 both north and south), friendly complex staff, then Brookside 112 maybe the answer to your housing needs.

The one bedroom apartment is very roomy and worth it! We love our place and wouldn't want to live anywhere else! There aren't any obnoxious residents keeping others awake and everything is nearby in driving distance.

The staff is wonderful. I don’t have many other nice things to say. The apartment is very cheaply maintained. The neighbors are inconsiderate with noise and cleaning up after their dogs. There are not enough places to put trash, and the trash is always over flowing

Very nature like and great location! Office staff is great, maintenance leaves a lot to be desired and issues with them is the only reason I wouldn’t recommend to a friend. Central to 205 and SR500 which makes getting places so easy.

Great! Any issues or concerns I’ve had were handled swiftly and immediately. The office is always willing to answer the phone, I’ve had to go to the office a few times and they were very helpful and kind.

It’s good. They communicate. Sucks that rent is increasing. I am single woman so live alone. It’s been a good experience otherwise. They are always quick to respond. Delivery drivers often get confused and misplace my package though but that’s more them than the complex.

Loud cars, people working in garages on cars and loud radios late late late at night. People going threw dumpster and literally climbing into compacter. Living in the back section of this complex is not safe for a single woman. But it is a place to live.

Great location, great staff, easy to make repair request and done in a timely manner, great amenities. Everyone is kind and helpful here. They have community events and the neighbors are friendly. I don’t like how it’s one garbage for the whole complex it fills up quick, makes it hard to throw stuff away sometimes

Good so far but with how many fees you have to pay on top of rent, designated parking should be cheaper and I hope all amenities such as the pool will be up to date and working during the on season. I’ve read reviews saying this has been an ongoing issue.

It's ok nothing special at all lots of unsavory residents bottom of the barrel. Lots of homeless walking thru getting drugs from other residents. It's not really a safe place especially with the recent shootings

The leasing staff at Brookside 112 is the best of any complex I’ve ever interacted with! The staff is extremely helpful, polite, and available 7 days a week. We have enjoyed our residency thus far. The complex’s community seems good, however I can’t vouch for everyone as the community is very big and spread out across several blocks. My only complaint is the lack of clean up from residents with dogs.

We have lived here almost 5 years and in the beginning everything with the staff and property was great then it started going downhill with the staff and the property. They charge you for the amenities when not all residents use them. We have never in 5 years been to the gym or the dog spa and the pool is only open half the year. The complex used to do things for holidays and have a summer pool party every year and this year there was nothing. No easter egg hunt, no pool party. Those were things we looked forward to every year and the staff was always involved and it felt like a community you wanted to be a part of. After signing a new lease this year we wish we didn’t.

Experience has just now gotten so much better, first year was filled with drama, lies, unprofessionalism thus our moving on as it let a bad taste! But the beautiful place seems like it is getting back to it's glory as new members are getting settled in and understand their roles. Great place to live now go for it.

I have lived at Brookside 112 for 4 years and have found it a pleasant place to live. They were very helpful in getting my dog certified as an emotional support animal and they are a pet friendly property. I have no complaints for the most part.

the apartments are nice. the parking could be way better. the apartment complex needs one more trash site . there is trash all around the complex. the trash area is covered in trash people just throw it on the ground. I see dirty diapers next to my car weekly. my neighbors let their dogs pee and poop all over their balcony so it smells like hot feces and pee all the time. the pool could be better and it'd be nice to have one for just adults
