Stay Away

Be advised. My experiences at Brookside112 were horrible. There was dog feces everywhere, everything around me was dirty, my neighbors wouldn't let me sleep with the noise, and the apartment had black mold. Just drive one afternoon by the garbage containers and you will see example of the condition were you going to be living. I lived on the first floor, the neighbor has a couple of birds and all the ---- ends up on my balcony. My truck's gas tank was punctured and vandalized and I ended up paying a bill of $1,500 to replace the tank plus tow truck and a rental car fees. I moved in December and during the move I gave some things to a handyman the work in the property. My worst mistake today I keep receiving calls from a company that Brookside 112 hired called Gray Star charging me more money for storage, utilities and cleaning charges even that I left the apartment completely clean. I went to the property to clarify this and the maintenance person was there and he confirmed this and let them know that the things I left were for him and he told me to leave them in the apartment since he was the person responsible and he was going to get them. They made me sign an authorization form for the maintenance person for him to get ownership of the things and today it's been more than 5 months and they are still calling me to get 323 in charges that they can't explain to me. I paid all the utilities and paid the rent, plus I added some money to the account for the water bill. And they still kept my entire deposit and they want to charge me another 323 on top of that. Please be aware that they will try to get every penny and will create charges to take your deposit and add charges to the bill to try to get everything they can.

Overall a relatively nice place to live. I have had great experiences with the people who work in the office. They make living here even better. I will say that when I originally moved in my entire apartment smelled of cigarettes from the previous renters.

Dont move in here if you value sleep and sanity management doesnt enforce rules The neighbor below me is incredibly loud and dirty i havent slept well in a year. Worst living experience ever seriously i had no idea life could be so horrible. ENFORCE THE RULES.

The staff at brookside 112 is always friendly and professional. Anytime I have had an issue I was contacted within 24 business hours and the issue was usually fixed the next day. My kids can't wait for the pool to open!

Brookside 112 has been a great stay and a great place to make a home. I have always wanted to live here because of all the different types of apartments it provides and the staff is always willing to help or answer any questions I have about the apartment complex. I would recommend living here for first time apartment buyers, it’s been a great experience.

Emails and notices are sent out about people racing through the parking lot but the message doesn't seem to be clear enough or people just don't care. It just doesn't feel that safe and I had done my research before moving here but apparently I got it wrong. And the maintenance crew has definitely gone down hill, like they don't care about their job. There used to be a couple of maintenance guys here that were real nice and actually got stuff done but I've noticed a constant turnover. I moved in here during Covid (when they were finally trying to open businesses) so I had to do my own inspection. This place had several issues, that I addressed but was never fully taken care of. This apartment is so outdated, especially for the price they charge.

Staff are responsive with questions and concerns. Complex is usually quiet...when there have been problems security has been quick to respond. Neighbors get along well and seem to respect each other.

Staff is really nice but the apartments are poorly insulated/built leading to black mold issues. You have to have the heat on constantly for it to be just 75 degrees inside in the winter ( causing the mold issue to worsen). There’s also a rat problem in the garbage area which is in between garages, only made worse by residents not properly putting their garbage in the compactor. There’s also a mice problem, luckily I have a cat and dog so they keep the mice from becoming a bigger issue in my apartment, but they still come out if I’m out of town.

Brookside has been a great community so far, and the apartments are beautiful. Maintenance has been on top of everything and the staff are very helpful. So far the community has been relatively peaceful and the grounds are upkept well.

it is much easier to move here using the flexible deposit and rent payment options. I didn't know about these when I found it on a search for price range and size we needed. the washer is more capable than others I've had and we can receive packages which was a frequent problem at previous rentals. finally the manager at office went above and beyond in important ways, you are 5 star management.

I have lived here for over 8 years now. I enjoy all the staff that works here. The place is kept very clean and everything is done daily. If you ever have an issue the managers and office staff, are very happy to listen and help. I do recommend living here it’s very nice.

The pools are NOT heated, the dog park is a poop pit, with no new bark put in. Tenants let their dogs poop everywhere on property and do not pick it up. Maintenance is quick to respond, and helpful. Office staff seem untrained, and never have answers to questions about charges on utilities, rent charges.

Nice,spendy,but what place isn't any more. It's nice to not have to foot the bill for unexpected repairs. It would be nice to bring back the hot tubs. And the pool opening sooner for the season;And staying open longer because of how early summer heat hits and how long it sticks around longer any more. It also would BE NICE TO HAVE A SWITCH FOR THE FRONT PORCH LIGHTAND NOT HAVE THAT AUTOMATICALLY TURN ON.; it gets really stuffy at night and opening the front door is not an option because the porch light attracts bugs to enter.

Compared to the other apartment complexes I’ve lived in, the main difference is that the staff here aren very kind and helpful. I do, however, wish that residents would pick up after their pets more consistently.

Jocelyn is great at the leasing office! We had issues with the Blue moon application and she helped us complete the process smoothly. On move in day she explained everything to us clearly. Had to call maintenance a couple times and they are quick and efficient.

Overall, relatively good aside from excessive noise and disruptions. There are frequently disputes in the parking lot and law enforcement has come on more than one occasion when I was attempting to rest for the night shift. It would also be nice to have designated smoking areas because of the number of smokers around is excessive and I cannot open my windows or doors due to the amount of smoke blowing in my direction which makes me ill.

Love office staff, wish the play ground was still around instead of the dog park, but it's good little place to live, but I've liked living here overall even within the playground & hot tubs they used to have .
