It was ok but I feel like these people are trying to squeeze as much $ out of residents more than other apartments I've been in. There's not much grocery stores near here and all of the shopping is like 15-20 mins away.

Great move in experience. Office staff is wonderful. Quick to respond and extremely nice. Maintenance is great. Love the lake. Neighbors are friendly. Great community. So excited to live here. Definitely feel safe.

Very nice staff. Apartments are very nice as well. Only thing that was not great was my apartment was not move in ready and it had plenty of time to be. Bathroom wasn't ready, doors wouldn't shut or lock to bathroom or bedroom.

Nice place to live other than not having parking spot reserved . Nice pool and very nice staff and feels like safe clean place to live . There are lots of dogs in complex that leave mess in area and some do not supervise dogs like instructed . Overall nice community

Nice community and nice support from administration. We can have party in the weekend and all neighbors are greetings to each other. Nice support from administration and when we asked some support even in weekend, they give us service well.

Colonial Grand at Liberty Park is a beautiful property! The landscaping is absolutely lovely. Maintenance requests are responded to very quickly. Management staff is super polite and professional and responsive.

Pros: I love the location and the layout of the apartment. My building looks out on to the lake and there are a lot of woodland creatures around. I love the remote feel without sacrificing location. The amenities are nice? good pool and gym. I have a dog and there is a lot of room for daily walks with him. The patios are reasonable size and I love the fact that I cannot see other patios from mine. The front office people are nice and the maintenance team has always been super responsive. There are smart locks and sensors in the apartment, which I like. The finishes in the apartment are not super fancy, but they are okay. Cons: They lock you in to a $80 tv/internet subscription with Spectrum. They do this by writing the tv/internet bundle into the contract and calling it the 'MAA Connect fee'. Apparently they charge this fee weather or not you are even using the Spectrum service. I would understand if they simply said "IF you have tv/internet service you can only get it through Spectrum", but they charge you either way and there is no option to cancel. You cannot cancel part of the service either, for example, if you wanted the internet service, but not the tv portion you cannot cancel the tv part and lower your monthly cost. I was told that MAA gets a "special rate" and the two services cannot be unbundled. I think MAA must be getting some sort of kickbacks from this deal, which seems super sketchy to me since the residents are forced to pay. I do not think this is a fair policy at all. Another con is the water bill is calculated by building usage, so my water bill ends up higher than it likely would have been if my individual usage was cancelled. It is especially frustrating if you travel part time? you still end up paying a high water bill.

Apartment location is great. The apartments are clean and nice. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. Whenever I need anything, the staff are right there to answer any questions. The community itself is beautiful.

Maintenance Team rocks! Dishwasher wasn't working properly. They replaced it with a fabulous unit. This seems to be their pattern? if something isn't right, they make it right asap. I love living here!

SO FAR SO GOOD. NEED NEW CARPET. HAD A MOUSE PROBLEM WHICH SEEMS TO BE OK. BATHTUB NEEDS RE-COATING. SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH AC. WASHER WAS REPLACED AS WAS DRYER. THE PEOPLE ABOVE MAKE TOO MIUCH NOISE

This is by far one of the best communities in the suburban Birmingham area. The leasing office crew are polite and responsive to needs. The grounds are kept up and clean. Grocery shopping is less than a half mile with a couple nice restaurants that walking distance. No complaints other than peeling paint on entry doors.

Very nice area and community. However, The apartments need several upgrades. The Inside of the apartment needs walls patched and painted (just looks old inside, etc.) But love the complex and staff.

Management team is great. All issues quickly and efficiently handled. Very friendly neighbors. Parking is sufficient. The weight room is an extra and I enjoy that I can access it 24hours Convenient to grocery stores which is less than 1 mile away.

Overall experience has been really good, school system it's amazing at Liberty Park, neighborhood it's very safe and nice, people are very kind, sports complex it's very close and great facilities, outdoor activities are awesome as well

I’ve been here 7 years now First time ever in apartments Great place to be my argues i have are i’ve gone up $500-$700 on rent since i’ve been here i would like to have the updated version the have now for what i pay The staff & maintenance are wonderful never a complaint in that area

I moved in a few days ago and I already feel at home here thanks to the smooth move in process led by the wonderful team at the Colonial Grand at Liberty Park. From the management to the maintenance staff, everyone here is very professional, and their positivity makes it such a delight to talk to then every time! They were up front and honest about any concerns I had before moving in, and promptly addressed any issues I had after I moved in. This more than made up for any flaws in the apartment. I could tell they genuinely about the residents that live here, and it really showed when I was being driven around the golf carts - the residents that we passed by would all stop to wave at Tangela and say Hi!

Great place. Or was really. MAA has taken advantage of tenants by raising rent due to an increase in neighborhood expansion. The quality of service they provide though is exaggerated by price. Most tenants are transient and waiting on future homes nearby. While others have been long term tenants, we are shown absolutely no appreciation for their business. Their role as a corporation is disappointing and reflects their money fueled intentions.

Overall it has been very good. Request better landscaping. Request hardwood floors in our apartment. Repair lighting coming into community for safety reasons, presently a liability. Regarding noise, more people revving motors of vehicles as they drive on property and some driving fast.

My experience was pleasant. I enjoyed the staff members and living in a nice quiet area. I highly recommend this apartment complex for anyone who can afford it. I enjoyed the car wash on site and that a gas station was nearby. I love that it was close to any part of Birmingham, but not inside the city.
