I have lived in this community for over a year now. I recently had a problem with our shower clogging up, and submitted a serve request. Today a member of the maintenance staff, Greg came to our home and quickly fixed the problem. The shower drain is working well, and he was very courteous. Overall my experience with the maintenance staff has been very positive!

I have lived here for awhile and really like it. Thomas in the office always is helpful and very nice. If you are going to visit here then definitely ask for him! The apartment space in a 1 bedroom is great! Lots of closet space and natural light.

I am a grad student at ASU. This is one of the best apartments I have lived so far in Tempe. This is close to ASU and has all the amenities required for a decent life. Initially when I came to ASU from India, I had to live in a "famous" community on East University Drive, which is terrible and awful. It had full of roaches and bugs. The management was rude and never cared about its tenants. I got frustrated with them. I decided to quit and I moved into Desert palms Village in July, 2016. This is a pretty good community with decent, professional and respectable staff. The community is clean and well maintained.There is no sign of a roach or a bug inside home even though this is a pretty large community. Floor an carpet are clean. We got pretty much new appliances in our unit and some old defective ones were replaced with brand new appliances. Especially I appreciate Mr.Thomas Eckhardt and Miss.Courtney soto for their patience and courteous response when addressing our concerns. When it comes to repairs and maintenance, I feel comfortable with the maintenance staff. Especially Mr.Greg and others are very professional in their work and yet polite. All the maintenance requests raised by me are completed diligently in a timely manner. The rent is reasonable and service to tenants is top class. Desert Palm Village has been a dream; far and away our best rental experience. The buildings were built in the 1970's, but are kept up well. This is a surprisingly quiet neighborhood considering it is only half a mile from ASU, and we have never had any issues with our neighbors. Having easy access to the on-site gym and pool facilities is a great bonus, but far and away what elevates the experience of living here is the most shockingly personable and friendly staff we have encountered living in multiple states and many different apartments. The management staff is eager to answer any questions we might have, and despite presiding over a large complex, quickly learned our names. Interacting with them is always a joy. Whenever something needs to be repaired, no matter how large or small, the office will send someone the same day to fix it. The maintenance staff is very helpful - Greg is always timely and cheerful when he comes to fix something, and will go above and beyond to ensure we are satisfied. IMT residential is lucky to have such an amazing staff working to represent their company, and we are lucky to benefit from their efforts as residents.

I just recently had a maintenance issue with the garbage disposal and sliding door. I called the office put in my work order and was told that I might get help that day or first thing in the morning. To my surprise Roman Ochoa came within two hours of my call. Roman was very courteous and efficient. After he was done I noticed he was very clean and there was no mess for me to clean up. I have to say the maintenance team at DPV are very well trained and polite.

I haven't been here long, but I already know it will be great. The grounds are clean, parking is close, and the apartment itself is very nice and spacious. The office staff is very helpful and down to earth. But I am most impressed with the maintenance. The previous tenant had kicked a hole in one closet door and knocked both of them off the hinges so they didn't open/close at all. I placed a request yesterday evening and Roman was here first thing in the morning. He was so nice and helpful and did a spectacular job. I'm thoroughly impressed and can't wait to see how the rest of my lease plays out.

Great starter apartment. Close to ASU (about a 30 minute walk) and hooks up to the orbit mars bus. office staff is helpful, but not willing to admit that they have done something wrong. If I could take the maintenance staff with me when my lease is up I would! They are so sweet and always fix the problems I have. They don't leave a mess and are even respectful about walking on the carpet. When I moved in my apartment was not cleaned how I would have liked and there was dog poop stains all over the carpet, but since then they have been removed (that's more of a previous tenant thing).
