Due to a relocation to Denver, I opted for an Oakwood temp housing 2-month rental at 1600 Glenarm while searching for a permanent apt. I like it so much, I signed a lease w/the management company - RedPeak Properties.

All management makes a concerted effort to be hands on helpful no matter what the request. The front desk is manned 99.9% of the time so help is usually available. The maintenance and CLEANING GALS keep the building in tip top shape.

I've really enjoyed staying at 1600 Glenarm! The place is beautiful and clean! My apartment is full of sunlight and has a great view! I am close to everything I could ask to be and the concierge staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive to help with whatever I need. I would highly recommend living here!

After 6.5 years of being a resident, it been and excellent experience with virtually all areas of apartment living at 1600 Glenarm Place. Our concierges have been our primary contact for most communications and they are courteous, attentive, consistent, and go out of there way to be sure we are taken care of... yep, pretty nice!

We moved from the sugar cube building in Lodo. I was very concerned that the level of service, location, and aesthetics of Glenarm would not match up. As soon as we moved in I was relieved to find that I loved our new apartment. The location is terrific. It is lively but not excessively noisy at night. The amenities are great but mostly the staff makes it the best spot In town.

This place is great. Facilities and staff. It is a lot of fun here. Staff work hard to make your stay not only comfortable but totally enjoyable. Location is wonderful. The extras that this place provides are above and beyond all other apartment complexes.

The apartments at 1600 Glenarm are the best in Denver. Not only are they located at the center of everything, but the staff is the best in the business. Everyone in at the concierge desk and valet team know tenants by name and treat everyone with the highest levels of respect.

Amazing experience. For the 6 plus years that we have been here. Although everyone I have encountered lately has asked us if we had plans to move out. We are happy here, not sure if its just that the community is ready for us to leave or not. :)

Very nice apartment and building. Staff is professional, friendly and attentive. Amenities are high quality. Good sense of community. I enjoy the quiet, overall. Though I have a noisy upstairs neighbor. One recommendation I would have is to find a way for the Concierge to be present at the desk more. I often walk in and out of the building only to find their desk empty. I know that it's because they are performing duties related to their job. But I feel safety of the building and tenant service would be improved if someone were at the desk more.

The concierge staff, valet staff and the maintenance staff always do an excellent job and always exceed my expectations. Additionally, the downtown location is perfect. The building is clean and maintained very well. The only drawback is I think the cost of parking is high. However, the price may be a trade off to location and valet parking.

The leasing staff was great and gave us options. The front desk, maintenance, car valet and gym staff are very responsive and pleasant. I would recommend this property and other RedPeak properties to those looking for a full service building.

Red Peaks and the entire staff of 1600 Glenarm make this 'THE' best home rental in the downtown Denver area. I'm very lucky to have found this fantastic property. I will continue to refer potential clients to not only 1600 Glenarm but the other properties owned by Red Peaks.

I've lived in the 1600 Glenarm apartments now for almost two years, and I love it. Every part of the experience has been extremely nice - from the people, to the apartment, to the company's responsiveness to repair issues, etc. I feel safe here too - and there are a lot of very nice people living here too. It's been a great experience.

We recently moved into 1600 Glenarm. Things were a little chaotic on our end. The staff at 1600 Glenarm went out of their way to calm our nerves and to assist with all of our needs. They turned a nightmare day into a sweat dream!

We loved living at 1600 Glenarm Residences. We lived there for 2 years and recently moved out. We had a top floor mountain view apartment and while we will miss that view, and the excellent amenities of the apartment, the staff is the part we will miss the most. Everyone from the leasing agents, to the maintenance staff were always at the top of their game and ready to help. The Valets and Concierges though were absolutely the best you will find. They were always top shelf professionals, who truly went above and beyond for the residents without question. The chance of finding this level of service outside of a 4 star hotel is pretty slim. After living in the building for 1 week, a number of the Valets and Concierges already knew us by first name. The resident common areas were always well kept, and very well appointed. The apartments are quiet, secure, and clean. Very little to complain about or even mention! The appliances in the apartment were impressive in quality, and something we have ben unable to find in other locations we looked at. GE Profile series everything. Our apartment had an installed gas grill on the personal patio, which was used almost daily by us. This is a big perk you don't often find in a high rise. The view... ohh the view! We have already accepted we may never live in a place with such an epic view of the mountains and a down town metro setting again. But we lived at the top of Denver for 2 years and took it all in! :) But all good things come at a price and that price is what caused us to look elsewhere. With the Denver apt market occupancy % skyrocketing in the last 4 years, Redpeak and Glenarm along with the rest of the apartment communities jacked up their rates sky high in that time. The rent increases outpaced our willingness to spend on our home unfortunately. With all the new complexes/residences coming online in 2013, and undercutting the established complexes by several hundred dollars a month, the choice to move was inevitable. One of the main pain points for us at Glenarm came to the parking expenses, which are justified with the Valet services we got with it, but still extreme. If at some point rent at places like Glenarm responds to the dozens of new apartment complexes opening up, thousands of new apartments, we would absolutely consider moving back. We cant say enough good about 1600 Glenarm, and the staff that truly care, and bend over backwards for the residents, you wont be disappointed if you move there - pending you can afford it for the long term.

I'm just getting ready to move out of 1600 Glenarm for a number of reasons. None of which are really related to the property itself, but are more so related to downtown living. Speaking to the property and staff, I'll save you the trouble of a long read and simply tell you that it is spectacular and if you are financially able, you should live here, it s simply the best. Now, for the long winded version: The concierge staff and valets know your name, are always very friendly and courteous. The units are very quiet, for me this was key as I abhor noise from neighbors. Rarely do I hear anything from the neighboring units, and when I do it s only in the hallway leading to my door, never in the living areas. Access to downtown is at hand has soon as you walk out the door, you have the Paramount directly across the street, downtown eateries and bars are just blocks away. LoDo is easily accessible without being too close to that area. The amenities are great. The patio, fitness center, and common areas are all very well done and are always in impeccable condition and constantly cleaned, which is so nice. You truly feel at home here, and when people visit they often comment that it s like living at the Ritz where exceptional is commonplace. Now, as I said before there are downsides to living downtown, and you re going to find these to be more or less universal with any metro residence. Parking: While secured valet-only underground parking can be added to your lease for a fee of something like 175-200/mo there are things to consider here. Coming and going and high traffic times can be a challenge. I ve had to circle the block a few times to be able to pull into the structure with the congestion. While this isn t the worst thing in the world, it s an annoyance if you re in a hurry. Guest Parking: 1600 does offer a number of guest parking spaces which can be rented on a per night basis for about $20. Again, downtown living if you re going to have people visiting, especially for an extended amount of time, be prepaid for the cost of parking their car. I ve always felt compelled to absorb these costs since they are visiting me...I feel they shouldn t incur fees to visit me, I m simply not that amazing. But it is what it is, downtown parking costs money. Ambient Noise: As with any city, it is, at times, rather loud. When I first moved downtown after having lived in suburbia for a few years, it took me a while to acclimate to the sound of the city. Fire trucks, ambulances, people on the streets (especially after a concert or sporting event). After a while you grow accustomed to this, and so long as you keep your windows closed the sound is minimal. There are times however where you can hear the noise of street crews slamming large garbage bins around, or the sound of jack hammers. The sound is minimal and as I said you grow accustomed to it, but if you re not used to downtown city living, you will notice is greatly at first. Events: During the summer, it seems like every weekend is filled with events downtown where they re closing roads and rerouting traffic. This is a blessing for those who enjoy going out and getting involved, but it can also be a great inconvenience when trying to navigate around downtown. When I first moved down town I left early morning to do some shopping, when I returned in the early afternoon I found that all of the routes, save one, had been closed due to a race or some such event. Again, not at all related to the 1600, but just something that comes along with living downtown. Rent Increase: So this one is a bit of a nag on 1600. My 6mo lease was nearing its end and I received my renewal letter. In the letter I found that my rent was set to increase by nearly $100/mo after only 6 months. Which leads down a pretty steep increase path of $2,500 year of year. While the rate of my current apartment is well below what they are advertising for market, I still feel a bit of annoyance over an increase in rent after 6mo, but such is the business. All in all it s a really great place to live, IF you enjoy living downtown. For me, I do not, and so I m sad to say that I ll be leaving. When I was shopping around for places to live outside of downtown I have to say that 1600 has set the bar so ridiculously high that it was very difficult to find a place that met the quality and services I had come to expect as every-day. Ultimately I have had to settle and will always look to 1600 as the standard by which all future apartments homes are measured. #1107

I had never been to Denver before, but when my husband's job called us there temporarily, his company found us the 1600 Glenarm Place Apartments. We were thrilled, and we lived there for 4 months until we left for a new city. Not only were all of the employees, including their concierge, valet, etc, so nice, but they were always helpful! It was refreshing to walk into the building and be greeted with a smiling face or by name. The place was also spotless and gorgeous, with a large gym and balcony that overlooked the 16th Street Mall area right downtown. There was also a test kitchen and a lending library, just downstairs.

Living at 1600 Glenarm Place in downtown Denver has been a great experience for me. I was new to city-living when I moved here and wasn't quite sure what to expect. I'm really pleased with the entire experience. Jennifer and Charli were extremely helpful with the initial tour and leasing information, and are very friendly, courteous and helpful still whenever I see either of them in passing. The apartment appeared practically new when I moved in. The in-apartment amenities are upscale...stainless appliances, granite counters. The windows and the apartment itself are insulated very well, from outside temperatures, street noise, and neighboring apartments. The valet staff are professional and courteous. The concierge staff are always willing and eager to accomodate requests or provide tips and recommendations on how to get the most from downtown living. I am living right in the heart of Denver, a big city, but I feel extremely safe while walking the 16th street mall or adjoining streets & neighborhoods. Shopping, groceries, restaurants, pubs, nightclubs, sporting events....all within walking distance. Overall, I'm extremely happy that I decided to move to 1600 Glenarm Place Apartments in downtown Denver.

I lived in this building for over a year and the upper management of this company is the most unethical, egocentric group of well dressed people I have ever come across. They have no sense of humanity or fairness and love to bully people who are, in their view, "beneath" them. The CEO and COO bullied me in my hallway on the 28th floor while I lived there and have still not even apologized or refunded my $7,000.00 that I had on deposit over a year later. No shame. They brag to the world what great human beings they are and boast that they are "---------------------" from 5 years ago. A "bully of the year" award would be more accurate. The CEO(and 3 other cowards) caught me coming out of my apartment(----) at 1:38 in the afternoon and decided to harass me at the end of my narrow hallway with no warning. Bullies love an audience so, of course, there were about 4 other Red Peak Properties employees and visitors watching this harassment by the elevator. One of the female visitor's mouth was wide open as she could not believe the bullying she was witnessing by grown men in fancy suits who had power over my living situation. The CEO laughed very rudely at me and got the people around him to join in with the laughter and attempted humiliation. Then, the cowardly CEO rocked his body from left to right several times mocking me in a manner that reminded me of SNL's Church Chat with a "Superior Dance". I did not deserve that. When I realized that I was outnumbered by about 7 people and that I was in the middle of being bullied in the middle of the day in my own hallway, I started walking to the elevator. The CEO and 3 other corporate thugs puffed out their chests, surrounded me and would not let me get to the elevator on my own accord. They refused to move out of my way. It felt like 4 football players getting ready to throw the "------" up against the wall in my OWN HALLWAY. Being harassed on the 28th floor in a narrow hallway by a gang of CORPORATE COWARDS WITH POWER and keys to your apartment is not a fun thing to go through. I complained but the employees lied to cover up the harassment. They are still lying to this day and have not refunded my deposit. If you want to give these Ivory Tower Thugs your hard earned money, go ahead. But, know that you are supporting these types of people and empowering them to continue to treat other human beings in this type of manner.
