I've lived here at Alta Springs for almost 10 years. The property is beautiful and well kept. I like the current staff they have managing the place, very friendly and accommodating. The maintenance crew has never let me down. Good place to call home.

We attempted to rent here in May of this year, we were told that the admin fee was refundable and when we were denied we were told that we would get a check in the mail within 30 days. I have been now calling for months and was now told that they do not refund admin fees and it was 200 dollars. If you talk to any other complex admin fees are always refundable. I have contacted a lawyer which they also stated that I should have my money. I also have had other people who have lived there who have lay suits against them as well. DO NOT ATTEMPT they are crooks. I did not have any issues with being denied but I do have issues with being lied too!

I like living here. I work in DTC and the commute is easy without the price of Greenwood Village. The apartment came with a washer and dryer so that was nice. I have a two bedroom that has been updated and it has a fireplace. It is perfect for my two dogs. There is a dog park and trails behind the complex to walk them. Plus the location is convenient to Cherry Creek Dog Park. Maintenance fixes issues quickly and the people in the office are nice.

Greystar Management is a TERRIBLE company out of Texas that owns/runs the majority of the apartment complexes in Denver. They only care about getting money from the residents. The apartments are nice and maintenance staff is friendly but office staff is unhelpful and their rules and regulations are ridiculous.

Well-kept attractive property, great open floorplan, spacious, good location next to park. Good garage parking, responsive to requests. Generally quiet, pet friendly, hope the pool is warmer this year.

Great move in experience. Apartment delivered in excellent condition. Been here over 2 weeks. Turned in 1 maintenance request. They were here in the same day. Office staff has been very nice and helpful. Have not heard my neighbors at all. The common areas could be kept a little cleaner. Overall really satisfied.

I've always had a great experience with the staff, they've always been responsive and pleasant. Truly I'm surprised by some of the reviews. And I like the area. My issue is I don't understand why there are so many people living here who smoke and leave trash all over. The office staff always is nice and being respectful. The maintenance crew is fast and helpful. Always ready for emergencies. Only issue I've had is trash shoots clogged at lease once a month. Glad to see them cleared more often.

Do not live here. It is a headache and the rent is too high to live in a place like this and having to deal with so many issues. My biggest concern is safety and the lack of concern the staff has. Also they add so many fees to your rent.

I have already expressed my views. please read all of my comments in the questionnaire, I am a human being and a legal united states citizen and yet the country could care less about the poor disadvantage people, who are homeless or maybe a check or 2 from being homeless. Nobody Really CARES AND IT SHOWS , NOBODY ESPECIALLY IN AMERICA SHOUD EVER BE HOMELESS OR HUNGRY FOR FOOD, LET ALONE WITHOUT 100% FREE HEALTH CARE, BECAUSE OUR NATION IS MENTALLY ILL AND IT IS PREVALENT THROUGHOUT THE SOCIETY. NO ONE DARES TO ADDRESS WHY ISN'T IT OBVIOUS THAT MENTAL ILLNESS IS IN EVERY SOCIETY BUT AMERICA IS SO GREEDY THAT I NEGLECTS THE CALLS FOR HELP FROM IT'S CITIZENS.

We've lived at Alta Springs for nearly 2 years now and we are certainly happy to call this place home. First, to address the immediate concerns of future tenants--In the 2 years we've been here, there indeed has been some turn over in , in the past. Maintenence tickets are handled quickly, as well as basic facilities needs around the complex. The management staff are all very friendly, approachable and quick to respond. The grounds have improved since they hired two new people. The grounds guy has been working hard to keep trash shoots, garages and lobby all, clean. Now, realize that the management team is only one element of an apartment. The units themselves are well kept and well built, with spacious floor plans. The noise transfer in our unit is very minimal, the construction appears to be very solid. The grounds are very well kept with manicured landscaping throughout. The community has remained quiet with no loud children or loud late-night music to disturb this peaceful community. It's a tough job to take over a complex that's been neglected and make positive changes as quickly as they have. I applaud the staff for working so hard in catching up the community on its needs while maintaining friendly attitudes. We are a rather low-mainentance couple, so it all depends on one's needs and preferences. However, we have been very pleased and content with our home here.

I have lived here over a year and have encountered so many problems from basic amenities to the disgusting hallways and overfilled trash chutes. Office staff and maintenance do the bare minimum. The sidewalks are never shoveled in the winter and in the summer and there is trash and poop all around the property. The elevators or garage are broken every other week, but office management denies they were aware this was an issue regardless of placing in a maintenance request to have it fixed. The main doors are never locked so there is no security to the building. If you depend on an elevator due to limited mobility, your likely to never make it to your apartment as this goes on for days without being fixed or addressed. I would highly suggest avoiding this property and Dayton crossing which is across the street, greystar communities. Poorly maintained, poor customer service, not worth the hassle.

The leasing office lacks professionalism and communication. Any problem I have had I have had to make several attempts to get the issue resolved. None of my problems were resolved in a timely manner and were done so poorly.

Hire compassionate knowledgeable helpful employees to represent your company. They do not smile, they have attitudes ( a as thought they would rather be somewhere else) They make you feel as though you are an inconvenience to them give you last minute notices that certain things are going to be performed in your apartment, and no one ever shows up, and know one calls to let you know. This in common place. Their tone and manner is one of intimidation. I have been denied to speak with the manager or assistant mgr ( anyone with authority) because they were busy, on the phone, eating at their desk, don't have time, (a number of reasons), I am told to make an appointment and when I do come back to the office for the appointment 10 minutes early, I am told she has left for the day. They do everything to let you know who is in charge and make your existence here uncomfortable. They require a two moth notice from you, yet they will not tell you what your new rental amount will be until a couple of weeks before you must let them know your decision. It gives you little time to look elsewhere. I do not like feeling like a bother. I live in an old apartment unit that has not been remodeled like the others in the complex, and appliances keep breaking down. without getting new ones, only replaced with used ones which end up breaking down again.

The staff is the worst part of everything I would say. I would have much rather moved somewhere I had to pay pay more then deal with the staff here. Most things I looked forward to at initial move in like appliances weren't as discussed I've had numerous problems that have gone without communication nor solution. I feel like the staff wanted to make a sell and after I signed my lease they cared nothing about my experience. My original lease was in fact signed by another party due to lack of communication. I constantly feel like a problem when asking for the things I infact pay for as a resident management seems to never be reachable I've never even received an apology for things they have done it's like pulling teeth and Brittany in the office seems to never know what Is going on given she's new she never even seems to take initiative in finding out the answers needed. My apartment layout is great parking is horrible seems like as long as I can stay cooped up in my apartment and hope nothing goes wrong with appliance or I don't need anything from the leasing office I am fine I've even had the worst experience with packages and mail so far. Having a staff like the one here makes me not even want to use the amenities in the office they've made my stay far uncomfortable.

The office staff has always been really nice here. There seems to be some frequent turnover but it's been like that every apartment that I've lived in. I didn't have that much need for maintenance during my time there, just little stuff like light bulbs and garbage disposal, it all got taken care of no problem. The location is really convenient which is what sold me on it originally. It turned out to be pretty great so I was pleased!

The large floor plans are great for the price. The office staff was really accommodating helping me move from out of state. It's in a convenient location for me because it's close to my office in DTC and also not far from downtown.

Will do in a pinch. Wish I had more time to try and find a place. But job was starting and needed a place that allowed pets ASAP. Will not be renewing my lease here. I'm beyond tired of stepping in dog droppings when taking my dog out.

If you don't expect much, then you'll rarely be disappointed. This apartment is one of the least expensive in the area. So if you keep your expectations in line with what you pay, then you'll be fine. My car was opened and rummaged through (it was in the parking garage, but I must have forgotten to lock it), I've had to call the cops during a domestic disturbance down the hall, and the building often sounds like a kennel. But my rent is reasonable and the complex is very conveniently located.

I've had a good experience at this residence, except for the conditions of the parking lot after a snow being hazardous. They are good at clearing the sidewalks, but the parking lot that has to be crossed to get to the leasing office is horrible.

Originally was told that I qualified for an one bedroom for the online rental rate, then was told that apartment was offered in error by the leasing agent. The replacement apartment would be at the same rental rate.

UPDATED 03/06/2017...Read other people's reviews, all the complaints are legit and you will do with those issues too. DO not trust reviews outside of google, since the apartment sites filter the reviews and will deny them if they feel they are too harsh. First 12 months were okay. Besides small maintenance issues, my real only complaint was how F#&KING cold the pool was during the summer. IF you like to actually swim when you go to the pool, you want to pretend this complex doesn't have a pool and find some where else to go. It is UNREAL! (Management says there is a heater, but clearly they mean water cooler.) However, the unit was big and convenient for work, and me and my little girl renewed our lease in March of 2016 instead of going through the hassle of moving again. I WISH I could go back in time and leave. Since May of 2016, I have had over 20 times with no hot water. I stopped calling to report after the 14th time since the fix is to run your water for 15-25 minutes until hot water runs to your unit. (We are on the 2nd floor, not sure how long it would take to get to the floor above us.) So I've wasted over 6 combined hours of running water which I have to pay for if I want a hot shower. I called in a work order on Sunday for no water pressure, no hot water, and my dishwasher isn't working. The complex closed the work order without notifying me or doing the work, so had to drive to my gym to shower tonight. I had to force my little girl to take a cold bath on Sunday before Church because there wasn't hot water. Also, do not let your young children shower alone.. The water can get extremely hot without ANY Warning without even adjusting the temperature knob. As an adult i deal with it, but my little girl is not safe in there alone. Be warned! My clothes washer stopped working, and I found a disgusting pile of wet dirt or possibly mold (?) under there, yet they just installed a new washer and tracked the crap all over my carpet. Be interesting to see if they charge me for this when I leave later this month. The complex has also increased in vandalism. I chose to pay to park in the garage, but even this doesn't help much. Back in June, all the tires in the garage were punctured, the mail room has been broken into, all the packages were stolen, etc etc. I've also come home multiple times to my door mat being flipped over as if somebody was looking for a spare key, makes me nervous. The idea of surveillance cameras seems obvious, but common sense isn't very common at this place. If you do not like being up until 3 am during the week, this place is also not the unit for you. It's loud, with people on their balconies smoking and drinking and being super loud. I did see a security car driving around the complex, but I think he was just lost as he drove right by a unit that was partying at 3 am on a Wednesday, and didn't bother to ask them to stop. The complex has let maintenance crews into my place without my permission. (Not for emergencies like flooding or fire, but for random work order they did not notify me of.) In addition to your base 'rent', you usually end up with about $115-120 dollars a month in additional charges for trash, water etc (not including your Xcel and cable.) I have been a renter in Denver for over 9 years, and would choose ANY of my other rentals over this place. Yet this is the most expensive. if love loud neighbors, don't mind cold showers, an even colder pool, and the excitement of your car or building potentially being vandalized with no security cameras around for your protection, you will probably love it here.
