Things have changed a lot since first moving here. Appearance, safety, maintenance, and courteous staff have all decline due to multiple ownerships and staff turnovers. We renewed due to COVID-19 panic but wont be renewing again unless there are large changes.

The size of my apartment is incredible. The grounds are kept clean by maintenance but residents seem to have a hard time picking up after their dogs. This problem is not unique to Alta Springs. I receive a timely response on work orders and friendly communication from the office staff. My experience living here has been a good one so far.

I have loved living here for the most part. I think we got an apartment that was poorly remodeled, so little things keep falling apart. Also, the crime in the neighborhood has seemed to increase which is worrisome.

I definitely do not recommend! If you do not want your car broken into, stolen or stepping in dog crap do not live here! If you do then this is the place for you ! Crime is horrible. Garages being broken into and so on !

Horrible management, dog poop everywhere, elevator has been broken for two weeks with no date of completion given. Staff is rude and unwilling to be humans. They fine you the second they can but wont get work orders done timely. So glad Im moving out

I have lived here almost three years and for the most part have been happy, up until the last 8-9 months. There have been multiple maintenance issues that took weeks to get resolved, the communication from the leasing office is absolutely horrendous, Keil is rude as hell, they never answer the office phone and hardly ever call back without you having to call again first. However it has all accumulated with my a/c going on on Friday (high of 95 degrees) and being told by the apartment maintenance guy to leave it off overnight and "it should be fine in the morning". When it was still not working and 82 degrees inside my apartment by 11am saturday(also high of 95) I called the office and got Denise who I had to speak with six or seven separate times to try to get her to even attempt to get someone out. My first response from them was that their vendor could come Monday (this was Saturday am) and that they'd give me an extra fan. I requested they get another vendor here this weekend (I have an elderly cat who I am worried might overheat) and then Denise stayed they got someone who would "try their best to come today (Saturday) and if not would be there FIRST THING tomorrow!" When asked to please find out if this would or would not be fixed Saturday Denise told me (after calling me "sweetie" and "hun" multiple times- I'm 30 I'm not a child) to "be positive!" while laughing at me. To make a long story short, it is Sunday at 4:45pm, the high today was 98 degrees, and my inside temp is 82 and still climbing. needless to say I'm so glad I chose to not renew my lease and will be out of here in less than a month. DO NOT LIVE HERE

Beautiful apartments. Great location and mostly decent neighbors. I have lived here for about 5 years and I love it. Lately management has gone down hill and it is no longer worth staying here at this price

Honestly, these apartments are good. This wouldn't have been a first choice, but it certainly isn't a last! They're roomy, have updated appliances, and come with a working washer and dryer. Carpet is in good condition, and doors, walls, toilet, shower, sinks, stove, etc. function and look good with minimal damage. You can tell where they cheapped out, like the paint covering literally everything, e.g. the whole heating vent. Shelves that were removable have been completely painted and sealed over to hide any blemishes or damage instead of just replacing. Multiple 'quality of life' items were broken/missing, like the towel rod brackets and vinyl planks/blinds for the balcony/patio. It didn't come with a shower rod, so it's been splashy in the bathroom until that's delivered too! Parking in the lot and street is almost impossible after 9pm. Buildings also do not smell pleasant at all. It's not vented properly, so it's hot air mixed with smoke-stenched and aged air. Maintenance is fine. They're friendly and make sure to get major service requests done. Don't expect them to move multiple mountains for you though. Of course, the cons listed above are minor things that I could live without/deal with, and each apartment is going to be in a different condition according to what previous tenants and management did. It's just a solid idea to do an in-person tour of the specific apartment you're renting, and then make an informed decision of what you care about. No problems with the rest of the apartment or community! Since it's still in the midst of covid, I admit that it's hard to do in-person tours, and I couldn't check the place out at all with their pure virtual leasing. However, seeing your future apartment in-person will make you a more confident renter.

Tell a friend and family members. Very nice place to live at quite management staff are friendly hardly gave problems over in this area. Very rare for you to see the police over I like living over here. Please continue doing a great job.

My experience at Alta Springs has been very good. I realize that some of the people that live here, has no respect for themselves or others and that is not the fault of the managers or employees. I believe they make every effort to make this a great environment to live in.

This community is not my favorite. Ive had nothing but issues living here. My car has been broken into twice and my roommates car was broken into and then stolen. The apartment does nothing to help. They allow your cars to be towed with no warning.

Wonderful environment with serene atmosphere.Great neighbors and hardworking staff.Everything is in order;very comfortable facilities with no issues at all to worry about. This has been the best environment I have ever lived in my life.

All of the staff members are so nice and helpful. They always take the time to communicate with us about what is going on. I love the fitness center! The location is nice because we have all the stores pretty close by. I love my spacious apartment too!

I just moved out a few weeks ago. Alta springs is such a great place to live. The new manager is great she really made time to hear my concerns . The leasing staff is also amazing. I recommend this place!

In general, I like everything, close to the trails, there is a gym, a good view from the window. everything works in the apartment well . the environment around is normal. close to highways and shops. I would recommend this place to my friends.

If not for the maintenance issues, this place would be 5 stars all the way! I've had a few maintenance issues myself and all of them were usually quickly taken care of but the last one took a few days to get completed. The panels on the walls and ceiling in the elevator are still in need of repair but at least it works. The office staff are great though and very receptive. I think they just need to hire more maintenance people and/or possibly pay them better so they stay. I've been here almost six months and I've never seen the same maintenance person twice.

It's been nice to live here but the parking and the cost of rent are slightly too high but that is a problem reflective of Denver moreso than the community. It would be nice to see GreyStar not contribute to the problem further.

So far, everything has been great. There were a few maintenance / appliance issues but the issues were resolved quickly. At first, there was a bit of a communication issue with the front office but theyve made amends for it and respond to requests almost instantly.

Ive had my vehicle broken into in the supposedly secure parking garage and all management did was say they were sorry and said theyd post notes around the building to not let people you dont know in the building... meanwhile the garage door will be broken and open, the front door to the building doesnt lock and anyone who has access to the building has access to the garages..

Very prompt maintenance is very nice. Staff is friendly and we haven't had any major issues at all so far. The price point is Denver level ridiculous, but that's practically everywhere. Sometimes stuff is just left laying about in the hallways which can get annoying. Old furniture, items maintenance isn't done moving, etc.

Some aspects of the community are amazing. Others are lacking. For instance, one of the ponds appears to be drained indefinitely, with no work being done at all. Some of the employees seem to be not interested in helping the residents at all. For the most part, I love the community.
