The apartment community is very nice and the staff are pleasant to work with. The leasing office is respectful and has treated me like the adult that I am (rather than other buildings that rent to young people primarily). It's just getting to be very expensive. If you can afford it, definitely a great place to live! The rooftop sometimes feels like a frat party if its a nice day, but overall can't complain too much!

Have been her for a month so far and really like it. The only thing that could use some improvement is the package system. Logging seems to lag, and it's hard to know when you actually have a package, if it's been picked up, etc. Other than that, no complaints! Maintenance and admin are great.

When we moved in here, we thought we got a great deal. After living here, however, there is no way we would ever rent here for that price again. We pay almost 2500 a month for a one bedroom plus den. The facilities look nice, and the apartments seem to have nice amenities. But we've had tons of maintenance problems and issues with people at the front desk. For example-- Parking. We used to have a parking spot. Our car was totaled and we told them we wouldn't need parking anymore. They said that was fine and to turn in the decal whenever we didn't need it anymore. So, when we went to turn in the parking decal, they changed their story--instead, the front desk people said they weren't in charge of parking, and it was the leasing office. When we talked to the leasing office, they said we had to give a month's notice to stop the parking fee, and we ended up paying an extra $200 bucks for the month we didn't even OWN A CAR. So no one has any idea what's going on here. Don't bank on them telling you anything, since they'll turn around and do whatever else they want to make some extra money off you. The most annoying maintenance issue is the electronic locks in Phase II. They've installed electronic locks on all of the doors, but the batteries in these doors constantly die. The locks die within a month or two of of the batteries being changed. But despite the locks constantly dying (and you being thusly locked out of your apartment), the maintenance people are impossible to get a hold of to change the locks. You go to the front desk to ask them to send someone, and they say to put in an order online. You put in an order online with maintenance and nothing happens. You go to the front desk to check on your order with maintenance, and they are unhelpful and tell you to wait. You can't actually leave your apartment because you won't be able to get in, so your schedule revolves around the maintenance people's. Not to mention other maintenance issues we've had--including a sink that drains into the dishwasher (that we were told was designed to work that way, so we couldn't run the water while we loaded the dishwasher). We have lived here a year now and absolutely cannot wait to get out. Also, the community has a real noise issue. The majority of tenants it seems are college students, and we've had issues with noise from nearby apartments and partying. I'm pretty sure on the fourth of july, at least half of the people on the roof were extremely drunk, and I was embarrassed to bring my kid sister up there to see the fireworks. Really offputting behavior in the public spaces. It's like living in a frat house. just an additional FYI -- The rent increase from year 1 to year 2 on a month to month lease was ~300 dollars a month. The addition of another 12 month lease would have been cheaper, but there's no way we'd want to sign on for another year.

The building is new and well maintained. The roof deck is great. There is a supermarket crossing the street. No green spaces for kids/toddlers. This is the perfect building for single people or a family of two without children because some green space is needed.

Great apartment, amazing amenities and great concierge staff. Lawrence and Sheri(I think that's her name) are the best! They are so sweet and considerate. The leasing off staff is ok, sometimes they can be hard to get along with and a little stubborn but overall it's a great place to live and super convenient if you work in the city.

The atmosphere is safe and feels "young" here. The modern apartments and common areas is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The rooftop view is amazing and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Glad to have chosen this place amongst others!

Oddly designed building with elevators located to the rear of the building, funnels everyone into narrow hallway where delivery boxes are often stored and impede ingress/egress. There is no concierge service with visitors or deliveries; they will not call you to send them up to your unit because they lack access control for the elevators. Double-shelving in closet is unusable where mounted, clothes drag on floor and management will not fix; you will have half the hanging space. New York side units suffer from loud traffic, sirens; very bright street lights shine into unit, making night seem like day. Windows do not adequately mitigate noise. Landscaping is not present where it should be; too much exposed dirt. $500 non-refundable fee charged for each pet in building, so there's no excuse for not replacing/maintaining landscape. There's a bridge that connect two buildings so that they use facilities designed only for one building. Summer months are too crowded to use. One grill was inoperable most of last summer. Location is convenient to downtown and close to Metro.

I love the location . . . grocery store across the st, metro just a few blocks away. Great rooftop. Fair price for amenities and location. Downside is a lot of drunk people making noise and messes in the public areas and doubling up in units because of the high DC prices.

Lovely apt building, too many members of staff are unprofessional. Turnover rate of staff too high. Neighbors often too noisy and why such cheap walls in these expensive apts? I'm always hearing my neighbors flush their toiltets. I've been in less expensive places and not hear a sound from next door! That's all I have to say at present. Also, what's with the cheap move of stopping coffee/tea at 2 p.m. now? It's not a free service, we're paying for it in the exhorbitang rent as part of amenities. I must say, however, I love the neighborhood and convenience it provides.

What I appreciated most was the staff because they are very professional. Their competence gave me confidence in how the facility is managed day to day. In addition, because the facility is so large, there were plenty of choices. Finally, the apartment is well-appointed and it was very clean when I moved in.

Many different floor plans available to fit your needs. Higher end finishes. Beautiful roof top and club room, probably one of the best in the city among apartment complexes. Great gym with all the equipment you need. Very convenient location with easy access to 395, grocery store on the street, and innumerable restaurants and coffee shops within 5 minute walking distance.

pretty good so far - only a few complaints about concierge staff - it is supposed to be a 24 hours concierge service and that is not the case, most often someone is not at the front desk to help with packages/picking up keys/getting locked out. Other than that most of the amenities are great. The office staff is a little overbearing and make abstract rules about the pool/roof

The staff is great, they are very friendly, helpful, and on the ball. Our move-in process was very easy, and we really enjoy living here. If we were able to buy a property within the building, we would stay, but they are all rentals, unfortunately.

I have been very happy with the building and amenities. However, the vibrant young community has resulted in some noise problems. The building staff have been generally attentive to any needs or concerns in the unit or with the building in general.

The staff is very professional and corteous. Location is excellent for me. The building could be better maintained though. The elevator floors could use a polish since there is old dirt and scratches. Also the hallway entry towards the elevators needs to be repaired and painted.

Awesome, beautiful new apartments. Execellent facilities, including a business center, spin studio, gym, pet grooming, and free coffee station. Directly across the street from a grocery store, and within walking distance of several shops and restaurants in Chinatown.

Really fun, young professional environment but also some families and older people. Overall a mature environment. People keep to themselves but are friendly. Concierge has helped me several times figuring out dry-cleaning, printing services, etc. I always feel safe, can walk to Walmart, Safeway across the street, Carnegie Public Library just two blocks down, close to several metros, etc. I walk everywhere.

The location is great. The staff has been very helpful. The online community portal has made it very easy to find out what is going on in the building, pay rent, schedule maintenance, etc. Very satisfied in the first few weeks living at this property.

This is a really clean, well-maintained, safe, apartment building. The amenities and residents are very dog-friendly, which includes a nice pebble-filled dog park courtyard. The staff is really great and very resident-oriented. Super-nice people working and living here. Never any problems. Location is great - easy access to metro and its right next to I-395. Perfect for quick reverse commute going away from DC. Highly recommend.

It's good . I like this community. The staffing is good but the garage is hot. The traffic on the street is crazy loud. I would she thought they would have nade the walls more sound proof from the streets. The lights are blinding and I needed to boy curtains even though I hVe blinds

Just moved in, great so far. Nice pool, washer/ dryer in unit, large fitness center, printers for free. The mail and package delivery is a little crazy but I guess thats what happens in a large facility. The living space is a great size and the studios are more like one bedrooms.

The staff made the move-in process very easy. Everything was well organized and ready for me to move-in. My unit is beautiful and quiet despite being lower in the building. The in-unit washer/dryer has changed my life. I love that most of the residents are young professionals. The roof is such a fun place to hang out.
