I have lived here for three years. I love the property and I love the office staff. Larry the Maintenance Supervisor, and his staff go above and beyond to fix whatever you need. The office staff know my name every time I come in, and they love my dog! I feel safe, it is quiet and at the same time close to shopping, restaurants and schools. I highly recommend this property.

The staff at Elements is amazing - especially Larry - he is the best maintenance staff I've ever encountered after living in apartments for 20 plus years. I also really enjoy the amenities on property - the grill by the pool is a great perk and the newly added wifi service in clubhouse and pool is awesome! I will be staying her for many years to come.

Not worth it. I lived here for a little over a year and had a horrible time with the management. Our carpet was awful you could feel the the the carpet tacks coming through and they refused to replace it. You can get apartments with "hard wood floors" but its actually linoleum made to look the hard wood floors. Don't let the fool you. They also did a crapy job at refinishing the cabinets you can see they missed spots all over the place. Further more they were constantly raising the rent rates. The staff was very rude and would not accommodating. They would come in and spray for pest with out notifying you that they were coming. You would just come home to a note on your counter saying that they had been there. Did I mention the roaches! Even though they sprayed for bugs we still had a roach problem. Our roof leaked, patio was dirty. oh and YOU MUST GIVE ****60 DAYS **** NOTICE IF YOU ARE MOVING OUT EVEN IF YOUR LEASE IS ENDING THEY WILL MAKE YOU PAY A PRO RATED AMOUT UNTIL THE 60 DAY IS COMPLETE. Don't waste your time here. I am now in a bigger apartment just a few miles away renting from a private owner saving several hundred a month with wonderful service. I wish I had done this from the beginning.

the apts are old, and yes they have done some upgrade, but its lousy work, the floor is not hardwood, but old vinyl that scratches and tears easily while moving furniture, the bathroom cabinet was just painted over, just like the kitchen cabinets. the apts are noisey, can hear you neighbors beside you and upstairs. the parking is lousy, and its very dark at night if you are coming home, especially if you garage is far away from your front door. and residents not cleaning up after their dogs, which in the summer the smell is horrible, the water bill is outrageous, they say the bill is JEA, but it comes from their billing company and for one person the bill can run in the high 40's, I had a water leak by outside by my meter, and they would not adjust my bill. I could go on, but this is not a great place to live, they have all these rules, but never enforce any of the rules. they let the resident's know when apts and cars where being broken into. watch in move-in special, when your special runs out the lease can go up as much as 40.00

The office staff here is very friendly, helpful and courteous and they helped to make our move very easy and quick. Maintenance is awesome to say the least, we had a couple of issues which needed attention and they took care of it immediately. The apartment homes are set up beautifully, feels and looks more like a home than an apartment. We love the floor plan layout and the wood floors give it great character and are very easy to keep clean. The complex is quiet and even with living on the first floor, I very rarely here my neighbor upstairs and also never here my neighbors on either side. The landscaping here is very nicely adorned with well aged shade trees of different varieties along with very pretty azaleas and other flowering shrubs. The lakes have one of a kind fountains and offer a home to Mallard ducks, Great Egrets, Ibis and Blue Heron. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. The apt comes with a garage for an added $10.00 fee which seems very reasonable to my husband and me. We highly recommend renting here and feel very fortunate that we can call it home.

The elements is a great place to live. It is the cleanest and most up kept apartment community I have lived in. They are always striving to make every aspect better than it already was. There are endless ammeneties from the always spotless pool and grill area, fitness room, puppy park and car wash area that make living here enjoyable The office is always on point with any questions, requests, or to handle any problems. I have not had an unpleasant experience with the office or maintenance crew ( which are professional and set the bar for others). The sense of community is great with continuous events and activities with both elements staff and neighbors to participate in. It is a quiet and safe feeling community unlike other communities I have lived in. I have had an "emergency " issue after hours in my apt and they arrived 15 minutes after the call which says a lot and they were very quick to fix the problem quickly and properly even being a Sunday evening. I haved lived here going into my second lease and would sign a longer one if available. I would like to thank Jennie and Larry along with the rest of the staff personally for the great experience I have had living here at the elements. Great place to live !!!!!

I've lived in this complex for over 2 years. I love the sense of community where all of the apts. overlook a common area, neighbors are friendly w/out being nosey, people watch out for others who they may know are not feeling/doing well and keep the front office apprised. Love the dog park on premises - so does my dog! Maintenance is on site and always available for emergencies (both human and facilities). The community generally has a monthly get together at the club house, and during the holidays there is always Toys for Tots. There are food drives and pet supply drives periodically throughout the year, which I think shows a tremendous community support mindset.

I like the apartments quite a bit, but the new management sucks ---. New fees have suddenly been added and the rent goes up with no perks for signing another lease. Everywhere I've ever lived would offer something for signing a new lease. A ceiling fan, free garage, etc. If moving weren't such a pain, I'd leave. It was expensive to live here to begin with, but now it's just plain overpriced. The interiors do look nice, but it's just a facelift. I used to give this place five stars across the board (well maybe not parking), but now that's just not the case.

This place is a mixed bag and your experience may depend on pure luck. With the right neighbors it can be good, but don't rely on the staff to enforce any of the community rules. I lived here for six years, and it started out nice, going downhill rapidly after converting from Southern Pines. The community is small and not as densely populated as most new apartment complexes which is good. Apartments come with an assigned garage in the price. Prices were still competitive though. That was a major benefit to me at first, I refuse to live somewhere without covered, assigned parking. Unfortunately it was too good to last. Too many "guests", and people with second and third cars moved in, and overflow parking started blocking my garage. Management response? Put a red sticker on the cars. The owners laughed. I complained hundreds of times (not kidding) but not one got towed. Other negatives: long distances to the garbage cans, noise in some areas (depends on the neighbors, but staff won't enforce noise or barbeque restrictions), staff is generally unavailable except normal business hours. Supposedly they have someone there on weekends but you'll never find them. They put the little sign up that they're showing apartments and leave. After hours phone number is a joke, you won't get a response. Repairs are so-so. Property may have gone section 8, huge number of multicultural single mothers showed up my last year there.

Beware. Staff is great when you are a potential renter. Don't be fooled by the photos. Floors aren't wood and the cabinets and fireplace are spray painted. They will not fix anything until you have complained enough. I had a sink leak for 3 weeks. HVAC hasn't worked in 2 weeks. Dryer vent clogged since I moved in. Couldn't access garage and then somebody else had a remote that worked; 3 weeks. Screen repair=1 month. Power goes out in the slightest storm. Sink has been partially clogged for 7 months. Mold everywhere. Cheap carpet in bedrooms didn't stand up for 3 months. Sidewalks are slimy and dangerous. Pit bulls everywhere. People walk them right by the office! Do NOT be charmed.

We have lived here for one year in a one bedroom and have recently transferred to a two bedroom. This is the best apartment complex I have lived in thusfar. The landscaping is kept up really nice, best out of any place we have lived, it makes me so happy when I pull in the entrance each day with the fountains and nice kept green grass. The pool is saltwater so we spend a lot of our time there with our daughter, and most of the people that live here are very friendly. Our maintenance requests are always done in a somewhat timely manner, we've had a few issues (a/c, hot water heater) but not as bad as other places we have lived and they have always been fixed. Our one bedroom was on the second floor with these great high windows in the dining room but the two bedrooms doesnt have that which we miss. The bedrooms in the two bedroom are a little on the smaller side but the living and dining room make up for that. The renovations in these apartments are very pretty, especially the flooring. The girls in the office are great, I have a small baby and one of them actually brought one of our packages out to the car for me so I wouldn't have to get the baby out in the rain to go in and get it which is going beyond their duties and was greatly appreciated. The parking is sometimes an issue but probably because people like us use the garage for storage instead of parking which is fronwed upon and has been addressed by letters from the office, but for us and probably others is unavoidable in our situation. They have some fun resident functions, but the best is they have garage sales a few times during the year which is our favorite. My main complaint is the traffic light at Belle Rive, it takes forever and there are frequent accidents but that is out of the control on the complex, but thats my biggest annoyance. Overall we have enjoyed living here so much that we decided to move into a 2 bedroom instead of moving to a different community. I would recommend this community which is not something I have often been able to say with previous experiences in apartments.

I just wrote a disparaging review for this complex and the system erased it, so here's my second and further incensed version of that review. I wouldn't recommend that anyone move here and I've already negatively influenced one couple. I've only lived here four months and I've already had water drip through the ceiling of my master bathroom three times (and it's wet again), insect problems, the soap dish in the second bathroom came off the wall when I pressed on it, the unit was dirty when I moved in, and I've had about a dozen maintenance requests in four months. I refrained from using my master bathroom while they worked on the ceiling and asked for a rent concession. I was told that for the two weeks I didn't use my master bathroom it only warranted a $200 rent concession. I called the management company and left them two messages but they haven't returned my calls. If you're thinking of renting a 2-unit apartment here, make sure you run the water in another room and listen for any noise in the second bedroom. You'll know what I mean if you hear it.

The best place to live. PERIOD.
I just moved into a 2 bedroom 2 bath here at Elements of Belle Rive. I live with my husband and daughter and we all love it. My daughter can walk home from the bus stop, which comes into the community, without me worrying. Everyone here is so caring and welcoming. Especially the office staff. Everytime I come home, I wish there was someone I could show off my apartment to. The stainless steel appliances, crown molding, and wood flooring makes us feel like we are in a nice hotel. The salt water pool feels so good! You should see it at night, with the lakes lit up, it reminds me of Disney World. Everyone should live here!

I LOVE MY APARTMENT!!
I've been living here for eight months. I love it!! I wish that I picked Elements first, instead of Bay Club. You pay for what you get!! Very spacious floorplans and beautiful interiors. I'm in the property management industry and I love how they just leave you alone. However, you can participate in the monthly resident functions. Great staff, Great Maintenance,Great Location, and Great Neighbors!! I've decided to RENEW already!!

Nice place to live
We loved living here. The grounds are always beautiful. Maintenance is pretty good. The only issue we had is if they don't fix it on the first visit, they do not come back unless you follow up. All of our neighbors were nice and we always felt safe. We only left because the rent was too much and it was going up again.
