I dare Assistant Manager --------------- to write a public response to this comment. I was sitting on my porch with a friend at appx. 5 PM on 3/5 when the AssMgr pulled up to her apartment in the office golf cart. A tenant who lives in Apt 304 in my bldg was walking her 3 small dogs. The tenant asked the AssMgr why the pool had been closed for a few days last week (Note: I wasn't around-I was in Daytona and Miami). The tenant said she heard that the Health dept closed it because people were getting ear infections. The AssMgr stated it was just a rumor and the pool was closed because a new part was being installed in hot tub. (FYI hot tub is not near pool and has separate pumps filters etc. Sounds fishy especially since the pool was drained and scrubbed with bleach a few days ago). The AssMgr then pointed to my apartment and told tenant that I start all the rumors. The tenant stated it was someone else. Both myself and friend witnessed and heard the exchange. DENY THIS ONLINE ---------------. YOU WON'T BECAUSE YOU ARE LIAR!!!! The neutral person who heard this will verify it to whoever emails. This person is one of the main reasons that many tenants are leaving Bella. BELLA NEEDS TO TERMINATE THIS TROUBLEMAKER IMMEDIATELY!

this place is becoming a slum not a luxury apartment. police and paramedics were here the other night because a gang of children assaulted another child. this group of hids throw rocks at cars and run amok all evening. this gang is run by 3 children whose parents don't bother to take care of them but instead have wild parties on their porches and at the pool. everybody here knows who these parents are. they are the ones always drunk at the pool. we fear for our child with these hoodlums around.

The pool and hot tub are not safe. Myself and 2 of our children picked up ear infections last week. We know of 5 others who also were in the pool or hot tub and got ear infections. We called the Osceola Department of Health. They came out and found that the pool chemistry was not safe. The Health Department was at Bella on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday taking samples. The water was deemed safe on Thursday and pool reopened. The problem was we told Bella office about ear infections and they told us it wasn't from pool. Then why did only the family members and friends who went in water get sick and those who did not go in water did not get ear infections. The Health Department agreed with us. The pool looks sparkling clean but don't let that fool you.

We were tenants at the Bella Apartment Homes from 2010 through 2012. In 2010 the manager became very sick and almost died. The Osceola County and Florida Depts of Health traced the source to the hot tub at Bella. ----- was diagnosed with a malady caused by the Legionella bacteria which is publicly known as LEGIONNAIRES DISEASE. This report is readily available at the OCDH and FDH websites. In order to receive his full benefits Corrys family was forced into signing a non disclosure agreement forbidding him to talk about this to any former current or future resident of Bella. Some families use the hot tub as a kiddie pool and the kids are not wearing swim diapers. There is a bible study class that uses the hot tub on a weekly basis for their ceremonies. Walk by it after midnight and it turns into a drinking and sex tub. Need I say more. All of this information is on official government web sites. If you do move there, do not use the hot tub or the pool. I almost forgot to mention the unusually high number of people that have gotten ear infections after using the pool. Good luck.

My wife and I rented from Bella when they first opened, thought it was great. The staff was nice and everything was fine then about two months into our lease they had gotten all new staff that didn't care about the residents just wanted to lease the apartments and get your money.We ended up going on vacation for about a week and came home to our door being broken and someone tried to break into our apartment on the fourth floor, yes the 4th floor. The gate is broke most of the time and the gym is way to small. the dog park is a sad excuse for a dog park it's way to small. I don't think I would advise anyone I know to move here because safety is a concern and friendliness of the staff certainly is a concern.

It's that bad...

I live on the bottom floor at Bella and have a problem with sewage backing up into my bathtub and sinks. Management suggestion was to make sure I close the tub drain. They refuse to compensate me for time I've had to spend at a hotel, while this is fixed, and refuse to let me switch apartments.

WARNING!!!! Did you just receive a notice of a "safety inspection' to be held on or after July 17th? By the US DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT? Guess what, they do NO perform "routine" safety inspections. What they DO perform are inspections prior to granting SECTION 8 STATUS LOW INCOME HOUSING PROJECT! Yes. Because occupancy is at an all time low, and this complex is run by investors, NOT an apartment mangement company, they have applied to LET THE LOW LIFES IN! As you folks who have lived here already know, more and more undesirables have been allowed to move in. Now not only will they be WELCOMED with open arms, their rental rates will be VERY LOW, while OUR rates are being raised by HUNDREDS of dollars a month as the present leases expire. It's all about the money....NOT the residents!!!!

DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS COMPLEX

If I could give a negative rating, I would. This community is displayed/portrayed as a luxurious community online and via commercials. However, there is a disgusting amount of dog poop everywhere you turn, trash/cigarette butts, etc. all over the place and the landscaping is lacking to say the least. Since we have moved in: the hot tub didn't work for 3 months; the running track has never been maintained; the complex, in several areas, was infested with fleas; the trash sits piling up every day at the compactor (with numerous raccoons and cats eating off of it); the area around the trash is littered with trash and old Christmas trees; the office staff is not friendly, the mold/mildew problems are out of control (the window sills in each room turn pink and black within one week of cleaning); the front exit gate was broken for over a week; teenagers/kids run all over the place yelling, etc. and they charge you a $500 pet deposit with a $20 monthly pet fee on top of that to have a pet. Creepy place with creepy people-

Sometimes weget home late from the park and we are truely creeped out- Shady characters just walking around with and without dogs at all hours. Cars "making deliveries and pickups" of obviously drugs. Men just standing around peering into windows and sliding glass doors from the street. Police arrestingpeople for drugs and domestic abuse every night. Racial and homophobic slurs shoutted at me from across the street. Management does not listen to our concerns. @ the last poster-we would move but we stii have 10 months left on our lease and the manager wont let us leave. Bella is not -------- or gay friendly like they tell you they are when you first visit.

Disney Cast members-DO NOT RENT HERE!

This WAS one of the best apartment complexes around here.....until the ---- the manager became ill and left his post last July. The new manager ------------------ is clueless when it comes to managing a complex of this size and she has run it into the ground and is pocketing quite a bit of money while doing so. With the exception of -----------------------, the office staff is terrible after you rent. The dog park is a disgrace. Mgmt. refuses to install speed bumps, even after a child was hit by a car last fall. The free fitness classes decreased from 5 times a week to 1. You have to pay for A/C FILTERS! The pool, clubhouse and computer area closes at 6PM!!! Police are always on the premises, either for domestic disputes or drug busts....there are 3 cars on property right now arresting druggies. The vermin problem is getting worse, with infestations of spiders, wasps and raccoons....not to mention the new pigeon population "dropping doodoo" everywhere. The water pressure is poor and the electrical outlets are always tripping. This place could return to being a classy rental property if the manager would stop keeping putting money into her own pockets.

Stay Away

The office staff here is horrible. If you have a larger dog expect to be harassed on a daily basis. The dog park they love to brag about is filled with dog crap and not lit at night. Trash spills out of the garbage area on to the sidewalk. The bins for dog poop often overflow. Break-ins and vandalism happen all the time. It's sad such a nice property is so poorly managed.

I just moved in to Bella 8 months ago and so far I really like it. My neighbors are some of the nicest people and we've become quick friends. One of them even watched my yorkie-poo when I had to go out of town for a family emergency last month. i haven't found the staff to be rude, but i'm also the kind of person who pays my rent on time and is respectful of the people around me. i met some nice people at the thanksgiving dinner the other night and hope they the office will do more family oriented get togethers like that. it's hard in this economy to make ends meet sometimes so it's nice anytime there's free food. My only complaint would be the parking. Sometimes it;s hard to find parking near my building when i come home late at night and I have to park near the building next to mine. i would have also preferred wood floors instead of carpet.

DONT MOVE HERE

My lease is up next month and I cant wait to leave here...Dirty lawns ......Police at all hours and cars being reposessed at an alarming rate.....I agree with all the other reviews about the staff totally rude. the apaartments are nice but my neighbors upstairs are so noisy that is is impossible to sleep ,the office chose to do nothing about this when I informed them of this..They did nothing to help me...Elevators are out of service most of the time and it takes days for anyone to fix them..Overpriced .apts renters beware

BELLA IS TERRIBLE

I've been here for a month and want to break my lease...the pool is always filthy kids from the hotel behind us are at the pool late at night I even found a condom once by the hot tub,how classy Bella. The women in the front office are rude and don't know an --- from an elbow when it comes to their job. They don't the answer to anything they always have to ask the prop manager or their attorney...they come on here and write their own reviews...they cahrge you for ever little thing...they made bella sound so glamorous when I came to see it and it is far from it after I moved in. They are advertising right outside of the court house too-how lovely. The equipment in the gym is always broken and the grills look like they have not been cleaned since bella opened. parking sucks good luck with that. If I could stand outside of the office and warn those considering to move here I would do it in a heart beat. Rent is over priced for every styled layout...

Stay away!

As everyone else has said they act soooo nicely when you look at the property, once you move in forget it! My number 1 complaint is how thin the walls are, I understand it's an apartment so i'll hear a noise here and there, but this was unbelievable! The highlight of all the things I heard was hearing my downstairs neighbor vomit one night, yes that's how thin the walls, and apparently the ceiling/floors are!! Pretty gross. The girls in the office are rarely helpful, breaking my lease was a nightmare I couldn't wait to be out of there! Trust the reviews this is NOT where you want to live, there are plenty of places in the area that are less money and you don't have to deal with rude employees and hearing your neighbors at all hours.

Bella is NEW not nice not luxurious just NEW.My lease is up in June and I literally count the days. I have a view of the pathetic lake with the unkept walking area. The walls are paper thin and the cielings too..I take a broom to my cieling twice a week atleast because I swear they are training for fantasia on ice up there. The staff is stupid christina didn't even know how to work the grills..and she's been here how long? When you call the office they don't answer and if they say someone will call you back-don't hold your breath. The girls in there barely know what they're doing. Maintence crew is worthless too they killed a wasps nest and just left it on my patio,my dishwasher was not even installed correctly because one day it just fell out onto the kitchen floor,and the people who do the curb side trash won't pick up the trash they drop. Bella doesn't pay to have all the fire ant piles in my backyard to be exterminated. We now have to buy our own air filters. The property manager is an idiot as well as the whole lot of them up there and they are all rude and snooty..very unreliable and uprofessional. They are as sweet as angels but after you sign that lease they don't give two shits about you. They told us the only 2 bedroom available was a view of the lake-lie. Rent was due the 7th the latest-lie and 200$ fine later...Bella will make sure they get every dime you 'owe' them regardles of any situation. My rommates left me to pay for a 2 bedroom which I've been struggling to do and Bella refuses to move me to a 1 beroom and said even if they did move me I would have to pay a security deposit of 325.money money money that's all they care about. The pool is always dirty the equipment in the gym is always broken or about to break. I wish someone would of warned me..this is my first time leaving the nest and thanks to Bella has been the worst experience to date. They gave us 1 key for the gate when there was 3 of us moving in.cheap and greedy. The parking lot is a joke I have to park ages away and make a alk to get back to my apartment. Please do not move in. I'd rant more but I can hear the people above me with their loud tv on..where's my broom?

Great so far!

I moved in to Bella a few months ago and really love it so far!! I chose this area because I work close to Disney and was tired of driving so far every day for work. I really love that the gym is open 24-hours because I work CRAZY hours and can usually only make it late at night. I also enjoy the resident events that our property manager puts together. I met a lot of my really great neighbors at the last one that I went to!! I love my apartment here, and plan on renewing my lease next year if my job keeps me in this area!

The staff is just flat out USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, very fake and unprofessional!!!!!! you asked them for something simple and they look at you like you just killed there kitten? I don't understand why they are so rude! I go in the office with a very nice approach and you get snapped at like you are living with a angry alcoholic. The apartments are nice, but the staff in the office makes the over all Bella experience very ugly!!! I do not feel SAFE in here anymore! it seems like every week the police are arresting someone and taking them away! the people that are moving in now seem to be of a lower class? I really wish corporate would look at there reviews on there investment! to all reading these you should screen shot them and send then to corporate so they have a idea of what is going on! I agree with one of the posts, where they try to get the post/review. deleted off! VERY TRUE!!!. I was on the Bella Facebook the other day reading some interesting views from some tenants and the Bella office staff deleted them all off!!!! so you are telling that we can't even talk about some issues that are going on in the place we live at???? That is just wrong and a cover up! reading the other review where someone walked in his house with a key! well sorry to break it to you but that has happens to me twice already at Bella!!!! I went up to the office after the first time it happened and the two girls in the office just laughed like ha ha sorry are bad??? OK I'm going to walk in on you at your house!!!!! WOW zero people skills!!!! and yes the walls are made out of cardboard! I'm so sorry for being so negative on this review but Bella has really not given me anything to be positive about! Thanks Bella!

I just moved out of Bella this week. My job relocated me out of state otherwise I would of loved to of stayed longer at Bella. I loved my apartment and my view of the lake. I will miss seeing the otters playing. Overall the community was exactly what I was looking for. It was close to my work, highways, and resturants. The property was always kept nice and never saw trash lying around. Loved the fact that there was activities and happy hour every month. Meet lots of neighbors and made some great friends out of it. The office staff and Maintanence guys were great!Very nice and accomodating. If I ever had a work order placed to get something fixed it was done right away! I would definatly recommend Bella! Great place to live! I will miss living there! Hope my new place is as nice!

THIS IS A WARNING (especially if you already live here)

Writing this review to WARN any one who already lives here or may be thinking of moving here. This evening (09/30/2011) at 5:45 pm I am on my way home from work and my wife and toddler are home. My wife hears some noise at the door and starts walking towards the main door....before she gets to it....the DOOR OPENS and These People Step inside our APARTMENT!! Obviously my wife was shocked how these people had the key and just entered our apartment as they were NOT staff or maintenance. One of these people was an older lady and she said they got the key from the Bella Apartment office!! Now everything about this is highly disturbing. If that lady lied about getting the key from Bella Office Staff then how safe is the staff keeping your apartment keys? If the lady was telling the truth...How the F**K did Bella Apartment Staff give complete strangers who do not even live in the complex someone's KEY.?!?? And WHY ?? So, I have no idea what the F**K these b***hes in the office are doing (and trust me they all are ------- 'except' two - Christina and this african american lady). I called them 3 times and asked the Manager to call me back, no one called me back and it is now 10:16pm. Maintenance did not call me but their answering service conveyed the message when i called that i have to come to office in the morning, fill out paper work and only then they will change my lock, NOT tonight. WOW!! That's how much they care about any one's safety. My apartment key could be with some criminal right now and they want paperwork first and had NO courtesy to even call me back. So yeah, I wish hell falls on these b***hes for putting my family in danger today. If any one but family enters my door after today, i will shoot the mother f**ker 1st and ask questions later. RESIDENTS BE EXTRA CAREFUL. Your Safety is in the hands of these B***hes with no F**king brains. And I SECOND everything that the lady wrote in her review just before mine (on 09/01/2011).

My husband and i moved into this apartment a few months and have been nothing but disappointed. The staff here at this apartment place is the worst that i have ever dealt with. They have all girls working at this place and they are so worthless. They dont ever answer the phone or call you back. They will be really nice when you are looking at the apartment and when you first sign your lease but after that they treat you like crap. The staff girls are rude and mean and are unwilling to ever help you do anything or meet with you. The apartment grounds are not well kept. Since we moved in the elevators have not once been cleaned and are filthy. They dont clean the breezeways at all so you get to deal with all the nasty trash and dead bugs. There are countless of wasp nests that have never once been dealt with, so be careful going out on your patio and playing in the little kid area. The apartments arent the greatest. The walls are very thin and have poor layouts. They were not that well constructed so its hard when you try to get cable set up. Our apartments has various electrical shortages so its very frustrating at times. Also, when you move in PLEASE PLEASE make sure that you read the entire agreement and have them explain everything to you because if you break your lease agreement they try to get away with murder and charge you for everything that you have got. They are not realistic for this economy and what they will charge you to get out of it. These apartments are nothing special especially for the price. I would suggest looking farther north unless you are working for Disney or just want to be in the Disney area because that is all that is around. There is no shopping close by and there are many many tourists that live in this area so it will take you a long time to get anywhere. You will also have to be careful at this apartment as they have had some homeless people living at the pool at night and people getting arrested. I dont always feel safe at this apartment. The road leading to the apartments as well have many people who use it as a drag line. There have been many accidents at the end of the road by the gas station because people dont pay attention. I do not recommend this apartment. Safe yourself the headache and look elsewhere that may be cheaper because these arent the greatest. May look nice on the outside but the staff and everything else make this place a terrible place to live. One last thing, the water pressure at these apartments are TERRIBLE!!! Its like showering in the rain. There is no water pressure period!

3 Months later

After 3 months I could not be happier living at Bella. This is the first apartment community I've lived in where I can honestly say I know who my neighbors are and I actually want to know who they are. There are many resident activities, last night we had a Pot Luck Thanksgiving dinner that was great, plenty of turkey, ham, side dishes, deserts, wine etc... The night prior was pizza and movie night, Sat. coffee corner, however, I have yet to attend. I am beginning to think the bad reviews on this site might be tenants that were kicked out, because I do not see what they are talking about. I have neighbors above, below, and on the sides and I do not here a peep, other than the occasional sound of something falling on the tile floor, other than that it is very quiet. We have 2 bald eagles nesting on a nearby cell phone tower and at least 5 juvenile eagles that fly by and around the area daily. The nature preserve is great for bird watching and yes, occasionally alligator watching, as well, in one of the lakes (it is fenced off from the community, no worries). Office staff have always responded promptly to our concerns, and maintenance is quick to respond, usually the same day or at least the next day. There are alot of bees/wasps flying around, but that is what you get living in a preserve I guess. Over the last month the office staff has improved from good to great. They have a great team now!!!!

Ok place

I lived in this apartment for a while and I would have to say that it is pretty well kept place. The parking is getting a little more difficult but is expected do to the increase in tenants. The maintenance staff is really good. I enjoy the social events they have every month. The pool area is relaxing and a great place to come down off a stressful day. Noise wise it get loud once in awhile not really worth complaining about. The gates are always closed safety inside is not a problem. Reading the other reviews I would have to agree the office staff needs a lot of work. I don't think the way the office staff looks is the reason why there is complaints about the office staff. You could have Cindy crawford Haley berry and the Victoria secret models in there for all people care as long as they don't give me an attitude or dismiss my complaints. They do have a way showing a disinterest in complaints the residence have. They do a lot of times show a great bit of attitude when you talk to them, like you are bothering them. As far as dressing professionally I don't see a problem. It's not the clothes it's the attitude. They really need to work on the way they come off to the residence. To say that people are complaining because due to being jealous of pretty people is very off based. Not everyone is pathetic and insecure, and frankly they are far far from being super models Just do your job with less attitude and remember no residence no job.

Nice and close to work

I moved in last year and love it here! I have never seen an apartment complex have regualr happy hours with free drinks or host as many activities as this place does. I especially enjoy the patio decorating contests because I have a really crazy schedule and it's something I can do on my own time. We should have more of those. This is deffinatly an active place. There are always people out by the pool and always something going on, but that's why I like it. It you're looking for a slow, ordinary place to live, this is probably not for you. I work at Disney so it's one of the more convient places I've found to live at to get to and from work. Sometimes you get stuck waiting to turn on 192 for a few minutes when traffic is bad, but it's usually not too long. I don't what people are talkign about by the office staff being rude. I've always found them to be very nice and helpful. I have noticed that the office does all seem to be very attractive young women in the office, so maybe people are just jealous or don't like dealing with attractive people. I think if you are nice to them then they are nice to you. But maybe some people think you have to be mean to get what you want or maybe some people just think it's fun to be mean to other people. Either way, I think this place is pretty great. The rent is pretty cheap and it has elevators. I already renewed my lease.
