This place is not safe for residents. Gates are always broken. I have been there for 4 years and there has been many cars being stolen and being broken into. My has been broken into twice. Packages and mail are also stolen. One of the main reasons I am still there is because everything around us it too expensive at this time.

Overall, the community is great. It's a good location, the complex has solid amenities, and the units (at least mine) are very nice. Some complaints include the parking, and the fact that the walking trail night lights have not worked in 5+ months.

Absolutely horrible move in. Apartment freaked of cigars/cigarettes. Every piece of clothing has that stench in them now and we have been washing everything since we got here. We were moved in with no cabinets and the sink was backed up so we didn't have a functioning kitchen for a few days. The windows that look out to our "view" were COVERED with mold so we can't have the blinds open when friends are over. No compensation has been given for the amount of time, money and headache that has come from the smell. I would absolutely never recommend anyone to live here. In fact, I have written a Google review with all of this and almost 4 thousand people have read it. Not a good look for MAA

This community is nice until you need something done in your apartment. The front office does not help with these things and you just have to hope maintenance will come and fix it. You just have to learn to live with it.

It's been ok. It's a much younger age bracket in this community that tends to draw a young partying crowd to the pools and within the complex. I don't like the loud car noise and music. The parking is terrible.

Maintenance is responsive and thorough. Parking is hard with many residences parking multiple vehicles. Area is very convenient to airport and restaurants. Traffic towards the beaches is heavy at all times. Nice condo for the $$.

Great except for the daily emails about pool reminders and pest control! I'm tired of them. Also unhappy that you are starting with the parking pass. I do t like that visitors are going to have designated parking, etc. I like the way it is now without the tow company/parking stickers.

Service has changed through the years. I've been here almost eight years now. It was responsive and the office was great the first few years. I had met residents early on that were happy with the service and then pissed off by and moved. I have seen good and bad. In the year of 2020, I had a floor air conditioner for a year because they couldn't figure out why my AC wasn't working. They finally had to replace twice after much begging ,but I still was left with no central AC for a year. Going forward, I don't ask for much. It took three requests recently to get peeling cabinets replaced.Only needed three replaced and sent pictures. Finally did replace. They took off ALL cabinet fronts however. Love being over achieving, but took almost 2 weeks and in the interim I had to pull on cabinet's screws to open a cabinet. These were drawers that weren't not even peeling. Cut my finger. Sent office pictures next day of my bleeding finger and asking why they took ALL the cabinet fronts off and when they were going to put them back. My cabinet fronts were put back on the next day after 10 days. Communication is their biggest problem! No one even told me what was going on or left a note about why they took all my cabinet drawers or when I could expect back. Bottom line, service now has presently has been less par and not what you would expect for the money. I appreciate the guys that do the work. Communication from the service/office to residents stinks. If it wasn't for the location,I would have left years ago. Not sure I'm going to renew

We are not happy with the neighborhood now. The area looks dirty with trash everywhere. We have been living here since 2014, when we rented it everything was very different from what it is today, there was security, the buildings were clean, the gardens were well maintained and pretty, the neighbors were very good who know how to live in a community concerned about respecting the rules and respecting others. Unfortunately, for about four years now, most of those good neighbors have moved precisely because of the terrible conditions that are being experienced at the moment. Security is depressing, the entrance doors are permanently open and anyone can enter and do whatever they want. Many drivers take the opportunity to leave their cars parked for several days and go on a trip or attend nearby events (they prefer to take an Uber from here to the airport, stadium, etc., etc.). The company that maintains the gardens does a bad job, they now look neglected and the road lights are down, the roads destroyed. I am going to speak specifically about the building where we live. There are three-bedroom apartments, some of which have 4 to 6 people living there. Some of these neighbors leave their trash in the hallways for days on end, dripping liquids that smell bad, staining the floor, and when they finally decide to throw it out, they don't care about staining the hallways and stairs and leave the trash in the car wash area. There is one of those apartments that sometimes receives visits from men and women of dubious reputation who arrive at night and leave in the mornings, highly intoxicated. In the midst of disorder, these people have their own cars and park wherever they want. There are neighbors who are possibly in the construction business. They own more than four large cars and park them for an indefinite period of time here, in addition to the fact that on some occasions they house their employees in their apartment and these have cars that park in the building. There are neighbors who are parking their cars without permits or authorization in the areas for the disabled. Likewise, there are neighbors who leave their cars at the car wash for several days, making it impossible to use this service. In general, the real residents find it difficult to find a place to park. We like the apartment, its layout, its location, and its proximity to our work sites, but what is unfortunately not good are certain neighbors who do not know how to live in a community and who are disrespectful, who drive at high speeds within the neighborhood, and lately the quality of the complex is getting worse every day. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the maintenance staff, they do a very good job, they are very good workers, helpful, and respectful, but there are neighbors who are so bad that Maintenance just cleans and repairs and then they make a mess, dirtying what is clean and destroying what is good and recently repaired.

The units are beautiful at MAA Rocky Point. There are so many amenities such as tennis courts, pools, the gym (which is extra), a beautiful seashell trail, and a dog park. Plus, an area to plant vegetation. The problem with this community is that the gates never work and many of the lights on the trail are knocked over. The maintenance around the property needs to improve. But if there is an issue in the unit; the turnaround is quick to get it repaired. I do love living here.

The community is nice and very convenient for me. The mx team has relatively quickly fixed any issues that have come up since I have been here. The issue I am having is regarding the digital locks and technology inside the complex. I have been waiting since I moved in back in August for this to be fixed and it still hasn't today. I've been told once again they have to order.

This place need major help. To begin with the think they are above the law denying peoples service dogs, as much as rent is here they should have maintenance or a company come tackle the issue of poop not being picked up. The gates are always broken

Awesome neighborhood feel. Has a great Florida vibe. Pools are nice but I wish they were heated. Gates are always broken but I don't feel like it has to be a gated community. Love the proximity to the water and the views. Great balance of luxury and affordability (as long as they don't increase my rent next year). The market is super convenient. It would be cool if they put on more social community events or had some clubs maybe.

A beautiful property in a great location. We have always had a quick and positive response from the Management Team. Over the years we have enjoyed our time at this property at Rocky Point. The maintenance staff always deals with any issues for us in a very timely manner. We look forward to our continued relationship at our "home away from home !!"

Not good experience, I see dog poop everywhere on the tracks. The buildings itself are very old, the one that I am living in, the floor make noise if you walk. The vent fan is essentially useless, even after getting it replaced. Similar is the situation with vent light. Washing machine is old and doesn't start quite a few times. The maintenance is worse. When we moved in we informed leasing office about the balcony being too dirty and having scratches on the floor where paint has come out at multiple places. It has been more than 4 months and no one has come to fix it yet. If one opens a maintenance requests it gets closed without doing anything. Then there is the point of charging us for the gym membership, when we did not even start it, which is outrageous and not just that we were charged for it for months and we were not even given access to the gym. If you charged us by mistake then why not give access at least. Have talked multiple times for a refund, but no solution yet. Such an annoyance would not renew the lease.

The parking here sucks, not enough spaces. Overly priced small apts. I do like the location its conveniently located in between Clearwater, Tampa and St Pete. Close to the Tampa Airport. The 3 pools are cool. But the gym can definitely use an update

The apartment complex is still a reck almost 2 months after a hurricane. Roof debris is still all over the roads and trees. Very disappointing to see daily as I would expected it to be cleaned up by now.

Common area is keep up with few exceptions. Landscaping personnel friendly and helpful. Pool not always open when there's no reason for the closure. Shopping distance is a concern especially when needing just a few items

It's a nice complex. Biggest amenity is the fishing. I also enjoy some of the people, it has been interesting. Definitely a sense of community at the complex. Feels like home at the moment. That's about it.

Common areas need a lot of work. Parking lot just resurfaced and already looks horrible. Parking is horrible. No package lockers which is one of the reasons I moved here. I will not be renewing my lease. Better options available which are a lot nicer, updated and for less when you factor in the amenities we have to pay for here. Gates are always broke, so not even sure why this place is labeled a gated community. The leasing office staff is horrible now as well.

Terrible place to live. The apartment is a maintenance nightmare. From the day I moved in (May 17th 2024) there were major problems. The property Manager, Susan, assured me that everything would be fixed promptly. She did not keep her promise. I have regularly contacted her and her team. I even took two days off of work To meet maintenance workers when they promised me the maintenance workers would come, but did not come To perform the repairs. When I asked Management why this hasn't been completed they either Say something like this is a big property and it's difficult to get to everything or they have another priority or they tell me they will get to it. Well, it is October 26 and they haven't Fulfilled their promise. Things in the apartment continue to deteriorate. None of them have anything to do with the hurricanes that came through. These were all pre-existing problems. The air conditioner is broken tonight. This is the fourth time I have called them to Repair my air Conditioner in the past six weeks. They put a window unit in my apartment The last time I called. Magically the Air conditioner in my apartment started working again, But I know that they did not come and fix it because the window unit is still in my window. There are gaps in the windows where mosquitoes get in. The air conditioner broke again today. I suppose I should be thankful that there is a window unit already here By the grace of someone's laziness and Lack of attention. Anyway, I called again today for them to come and fix the air conditioner Since it stopped working again today and I haven't even received a return phone call from the maintenance person. This place is a dump. And management doesn't care because all they care about is the fact that they have another apartment leased out. Do not move here. do not waste your money. Pick a better place to live

It has been positive! I wish teh prices were lower but thats not always controllable. Great staff very helpful! All of my mainatence issues have been fixed quickly and professionally. I am happy with my choice to live here.
