I moved in October 2023, since then I have had multiple issues. This place is not what I thought it would be and I'm very upset. Especially with this issue with the plumbing and front desk staff. They are rude and not helpful.

Staff was patient and accommodating. Loved the property and amenities. Location is easily accessible to the other parts of town. The units have a larger sq footage than what is offered in many other luxury apartments.

This area is gorgeous, surrounded by water. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My biggest concern is that people don't clean up after their dogs and that's really gross. They fixed up the dog park but covered it with astroturf. Now it holds the smell of urine and feces and gets too hot during the day. Natural grass would be better but requires more maintenance.

I love living at MAA! The neighbors are wonderful and friendly! I love all the dogs! Maintenance is fabulous and gets it fixed so quickly! I am excited to renew! Being on the water is relaxing and the walking path is wonderful!

It was a nice complex but it appeared a bit dated. The grounds were nice. The interior of the units appeared old. Formica bar tops? The popcorn ceiling was pretty extreme. It's tough to stand next to newer complexes at the same price point.

We loved the location. It's a place we really want to sit. The place we currently rent is very close to there. Karen Del Pino took care of us. He is very helpful in everything; We were very pleased with your interest. I would like to thank you from here too. One of the houses we saw within the budget we determined was at a very dark angle, and the other was facing the view of waste goods. If the prices were more affordable, we would definitely choose there. There are places in similar locations that provide similar facilities. We chose such a place.

The staff and contractors are too be desired. The areas that are most frequently shown to perspective renters is semi clean. Areas around buildings have garbage from both residents but also from workers. Some of the maintenance and grounds keepers are very lazy and are often seen "hanging out" on the end of the trail on their phones. Certain maintenance workers do not come prepared with basic drill and bit when they know they have to open something. There's an obvious communication issue with the maintenance team and a very obvious dislike among the workers. Only three main te ce workers that we allow in our apartment after experiences. Office cares more about sending food truck information and "community activists" that maybe 10% of people actually participate in. Absolutely zero security. Security team needs to be on site at all times. The pools are over rot with people that jump fences, walk in, or past renters who like our pools. They are selling marijuana, bring glass, and creating a very toxic atmosphere. Very unsafe feeling. Lots of break ins in cars left out.

We moved on October first and for us new changing are great we feel the community is very furthering to have all this space ina an island with all the amazing gardens around the property surrounding by water, scenery perfect with both sunrise and sunset are simple above expectations.

I am very happy in all areas. I am glad I got the unit I chose. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I plan to stay after my lease is up, and would recommend this property to a friend. I have rented from 2 other MAA locations, where my experiences were dreadful.

I am moving to Tampa from out of state. I am not familiar with Tampa at all. I needed some extra support renting a unit sight unseen. Very disappointed with my sales rep. performance. I hope everything goes good when I show up.

We have had issues with the dryer, thermostat, screen on balcony, and electrical to this point but maintenance has been on top of all of our requests. I'm surprised with how quickly they respond and fix the issue after hearing nightmares about maintenance from friends who live at other apartment complex's. Kudos to maintenance here. Negatives are that there are loud cars starting and stopping throughout the night, upstairs neighbors floors squeaks at all hours of the day, and my biggest issue is too many people seem to forget about cleaning up after their pets. The back sidewalk area constantly smells like dog ---- as well as the shell path along the water. You should threaten fines for not picking up after your pet like you do for leaving trash at your front door.

Karen is a fantastic leasing agent. She is professional and and well spoken. She is also well informed about the community. In the application process there were too many forms required to prove our income. I found this to be invasive. It was explained to me that it is a Florida problem. I am from out of state do I accepted their word.

The air conditioning is atrocious on the third floor. We put in so many requests to have it fixed because during the summer peak months- our unit wouldn't cool our apartment. It would only get to 78 at the lowest. They state that the United are having to work too hard. So the feasible solution would to upgrade the units. The office staff seems miserable. They have a lot of turnover.

Friendly, nice community. Leasing office staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of great amenities, and centrally located. Went on a golf cart tour of the community and saw an apartment that matched my search. From there, spoke with them in the office where they made everything very clear.

Awesome place, well kept. Beautiful views. The location is great and close to everything aswell as the highways. The bay view and being able to see dolphins outside my window is not something that everyone in Tampa gets to experience.

Lovely grounds, secured behind security gates for entry. The property could benefit from the use of security camera as a few car and apartment break ins have happened. The office staff is responsive when you are ablee to speak to them, but reaching them on the phone is a challenge. (Going into the office, I find, yields the best results.)

Awful. Community is dirty, not safe whatsoever. They let anyone just rent here. Multiple things get stolen on any given week. Grills don't work. Pools are barely open. All sorts of pest problems with other tenants. Clearly this place is going down hill

Beautiful community with beautiful views. The apartments are spacious. I don't have much to say yet as we just moved in. The staff is friendly but there has been recent change over and there could be better communication for new people moving in.

This rental community is conveniently located and has wonderful amenities. The landscaping is maintained regularly. However, there have been some issues with break ins on vehicles, parcels being stolen from front doors and non residents overcrowding the pools. Parking seems to be a problem throughout the community. It's very difficult to contact the leasing office and maintenance is hit or miss-sometimes great, and other times just patching a problem.

Two months of wasted time that I don't have! I was scheduled for multiple tours which never happened, given different information from everyone that I spoke to, all to finally get the tour after waiting a whole week for management to give the apartment to an employee! Then have the nerve to inconvenience me & send me to look at a sister property in other locations ??.

It was great. The property was lovely and Karen was very knowledgeable. The location is what I need and the amenities are perfect for me. The dog park is a huge selling point for me; it is a great size and has great fencing.

After selling my home, my realtor suggested I look into these luxury apartments. I had 3 or so tours before going to MAA Rocky Point. I knew the day, Karen Del Pino, the best employee they have, gave me a tour I was applying. I have been here 6 days and love it so far. I am very content/happy with my choice. I can not wait to launch my kayaks, grill and swim by all of the 3 pools available here, venture on the 1 mile trail around the property, enjoy the various options of food and entertainment just walking distance away, and ride my bike (or fish) on the causeway!
