I've lived here for 5 months. I really liked this place at first, mostly because of the bonus greenhouse room, where I like to spend most of my time. It's a really lovely room, and I especially like to sit out there when it rains. I also like the layout of the apartment. I haven't seen many bugs (2 house centipedes, 1 palmetto bug, and 1 cockroach), but I do see a lot of spiders. I hate spiders. These are the ONLY pros. That said, here are the CONS: The neighbors above me have two small children under 10 years old (and just had another one, God help us all) who run around 24/7, jumping off furniture, screaming, and basically behaving like complete savages. There is NO parental supervision (that I can discern), and the jumping & running is so bad that it knocks the pictures on my wall crooked - one even fell completely off the wall. That's not normal. Because of the noise, I don't usually get a good night's sleep, and the greenhouse room which originally drew me to this complex is basically useless, unless you're doing surveillance on your neighbors. From that room, I can hear EVERY thing being said, and EVERY noise from above. I've called the office about it, and if something isn't done, I'll have to move. My sanity demands it. Perhaps this is more a "neighbor" issue, and not a "complex" issue, but the fact is that the apartments are old and not well insulated for sound. Normally, this wouldn't bother me because I'm used to apartment living which comes with a certain level of noise, but seriously, these neighbors give off more decibels than a freeway filled with tanks. What people have posted about the quality of the cabinets and appliances is the absolute truth. Particle board in the cabinets, ancient appliances (my fridge didn't work when I moved in, and it took them 2 weeks to replace it - after two attempts to fix it), and cheap patch/paint jobs. Trying to sell me on the place, my rental agent pointed out how wonderful it was that they had "resurfaced" the kitchen and bathroom counters. I disagree. It looks cheap, and they failed to do the sink in the master bedroom - but maybe that's a good thing. Maintenance started off horrible, but I will say they have improved over the last couple of months. However, that may just be because I call every day until I get results. I shouldn't have to do that. The office staff is wishy-washy. If I make a request, I may get a work order put in, and I may not. I may get a friendly face, I may get someone with that look of fearful avoidance I'm sure we've all seen before from people who don't want to work. That said, they all seem friendly enough. I just wish there was a bit more interest in providing excellent customer service. All in all, I won't say don't move here (but based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend it). You may have better luck than I did, and honestly, if it weren't for the herd of buffalo living above me, I could put up with most of the shoddy workmanship. When it's quiet, I love the apartment. When the kids upstairs are home, I want to leave the state.

What everybody says about the roaches is true. You do not have to be filthy, you can clean till your arms fall off. They are very much so in the cabinets. Kitchen and bathroom. These cabinets need to be replaced. I think the roaches have an affinity for the old particle board. Maybe because of the wooded area, or just the wood and cabinets in the building being too old. The apts are quiet. I haven't had any safety issues, my neighbors are great. The railing on my steps is unattached and supported by the bush behind it. I do see them fixing some of the broken wood work. Other than the roaches, I would recommend these apts. Though they do need to come down on the pricing, the apartments are nothing special.

I been living at Jasmine at Holcomb Bridge for 6 years and this place been in new management several times. And I went into the office Last weekend to put in a work order the young lady took care of everything right away. The new management is trying to turn things around i was gonna leave when my lease was up but the young lady said i was gonna have no increase and a rent credit. Times are hard an i see this new people making procress. Jasmine at Holcomb Bridge is a great please to live and i would recommend people to check them out.

i have to say that i have never lived in such a bad place. i have a baby girl and they do nothing to help fix any problem we are having. i had a problem with my refrigerator and they never came to fix it till 3 days later. we had lost over $200 worth of food. they told us it wasn't an emergency. i had baby food in there and her formula. also i have been asking them to resurface our bath tub because someone thought it was a good idea to paint it and now its chipping. i have been asking someone to fix it since October and it is now February. i have been asking every month at least 2 a month and still no one. my baby girl still baths in paint chips! its horrible! yes this price is good but not worth it. we had the siding melted when we first moved in and someone came by and accused us of having a grill! they have threatened to evict us and call the cops because of how much i complain about whats wrong! how dare they! someone came in to the apartments to check out what was wrong with it. they had countless number of things. that was a month ago and no one has came by to fix any of it! i never find a parking near my building because there are too many cars and there are a lot of vacant apartments. i don't understand. i would not recommend living here to any one to go through all the trouble i have been through.

After moving to Atlanta, it took me a few weeks, but I finally found a good apartment here at Jasmine at Holcomb Bridge. The ladies in the leasing are just the nicest people. They are always smiling, happy to see me, and take time to speak to you and with you. I like my apartment. It's just the right size for me. In unit washer/dryer was the biggest selling point. I like being able to wash clothes when I want. I have a great greenhouse/sunroom that friends are jealous of when they see. The fitness center isn't huge, but has everything you need. The location is perfect. I'm 15-20 minutes from work. I can walk to Starbucks, Kroger, restaurants, CVS. Just a few minutes from Target, and other shops and restaurants. And the other night, my heater wasn't working. I called first thing the next morning and left a message. I received a call back saying they got my message and were sending someone out to fix it. When I got home from work, the heater was fixed! I was impressed not just with the fact it was fixed, but that I got a call saying they got my message. That is service!

I have been living here 11 months. The price is reasonable at 630 which you break it down its 599 for rent and you add trash water and sewage to your bill. Its a great location on exit 7 . You have everything you need from walking distance to few minuted in the car. The whole concept from food shopping to close shopping in few minuted distance from my place is plus. The ladies that run the place are awesome. They go out of there way to make sure your stay is awesome. Even the mantaince people are friendly and out going. My neighbors are friendly but they also stay to themselves. But if you make and effort to get to know the people you live by they are friendly and outgoing.

Living here the first year was a good experience, but in the pass of the days and the years i don't like anymore living here. My firts bad experience was that my dryer doesn't work good and stop throwing hot air so i call to the office and they send the chinnese guy 3 weeks later, he trying to fix the dryer and doesn't work so he take out that dryer and bring another one that doesn't work either, so he tooked and they never give me one neither take it out from my lease so i need to buy one, my second bad experience was that we call 2 years ago if they can send somebody to fix the light that are outside of the building and lisa told us that we need to call georgia power, so we call georgia power and they say that jasmine apartments was responsable for that so we call again to the office and they don't do nothing also two month ago an incident happend at 12:02 in the morning and we ask them again for the light and they don't do nothing til the moment, and the last call from us was a water that is running outside of the building 15 tree month ago that we call and they don't do nothing either but the funny part is if you didn't pay ontime they charge you with $75 per day, jajaja, and then if you don't pay they call you the police. Also a guy in front of the apartments 17 and 18 we call because he park his truck in the middle of the street all the night and they don't do nothing they are ovether taking the air conditioner of the office and that set. Jasmine Apartment do something for this apartments not for me if not for the future residents that are comming to live here. :-/

I hated living here. But I was also too lazy to move for the longest time! They drew me in with a Craigslist posting for a 1 bedroom for $495 a month. Their prices are great for the size. They had a pet deposit and an additional $10 a month pet rent. So for my first year I was paying $505 and when I went month to month they added a $100 a month convenience fee, which was fine with me. PROS: Size of apartment 2 pools (that they clean on the same day, so pools are always closed every Monday, which sucks cause most the holidays off for my job are on Mondays...) Jack and Jill bathroom doors in the 1 bedrooms (so people don't have to walk through your bedroom to use the bathroom) Closet size Washer and Dryer in unit Plenty of parking, though not well lit Not ones to nickel and dime you upon move out CONS: Bugs. They spray all the time and they are all over. I had plenty of palmetto bugs in my apartment ( I think I stopped counting at 6 ) and there were tons of regular roaches as well. I very rarely left any dishes out for more then a few hours at a time because it was so bad. They were everywhere, in all the cabinets, even ones with no food in them. Cabinets. They are falling apart and made of particle board. Carpet is cheap, and cheaply put in, it wasn't tacked down properly by the walls. Layers and layers of paint, especially on the baseboards. Painted over outlet covers. Cheap outlet covers. By the time I move out I had replaced 8 of them in the place. Poor looking grounds. Maintenance. Examples include: Not coming at all, claiming to have fixed a leak and my apartment continued to flood while I waited for the carpet cleaners, cutting a huge hole in my bathroom wall and doing the worst patch work, digging up a bush outside my porch and never replacing it (so there was one awkward gap), coming THREE times to reattach my towel rack in my bathroom because they never placed it on a stud, spray painting over water damage marks on the ceiling. The deck above mine actually rotted out and collapsed onto mine one day. Rickety wooden steps. No drop box for rent checks (after it got broken into one night and was stolen. Never replaced for 2 years) and there is no online payment available. Old appliances. I really think these are trashy apartments. I hardly had anyone over because they were such an embarrassment. I never had trouble with the staff though, although I rarely called them or spoke to them outside of maintenance requests. I do not recommend living here.

If their attempts to shuffle me into a shoddy unit is any indication of how the next year was going to be here I think I dodged a bullet by not signing up here. Three weeks ago I am told that the unit will be ready by the time I move in. I had to keep calling about seeing the unit that I would move into. I would call and they would say that they would call right back with manager/staff and would NEVER return my call. Me being the trusting dolt that I am got hooked right along until they show me the unit the DAY before the move in date and it was a wreck. The carpet is still wet, to be fair they told me that it would be. The leasing agent swears that it will be dry by tomorrow??? They say that the AC unit was broke but that they had fixed it, it still feels broke when I went inside. The sink counter tops had been spray painted with a white glossy paint in patches. The shower glass sliding door was half way hinged on with only 1 railing guide still attached, this is actually dangerous because now the glass sliding door could fall off anytime and maybe stab you with some glass as your taking a shower. The linoleum tiles in the kitchen have gaps between them to where you can see the wood floor/tack underneath. The bath tub was still being worked on and had its fixtures pulled out with the pipes and hoses inside the wall exposed, leasing agent tells me that the maintenance man is still working on that tub. The leasing agent blames the maintenance staff for taking too long and tells me that the contractors were too slow to get the place ready. Because they hooked me around and I am too trusting I now have to stay another month at my old place and go month to month with a penalty fee of 100$ while I find another apartment community that has their act together. I have a suggestion for you Jamine on Holcomb Bridge, fire your contractors or maintenance staff. I will also talk to Lyon about my experience.

I PERSONALLY HATE WRITING THIS KIND OF THINGS BUT IT'S BEEN QUITE A WHILE SINCE I'VE BEEN LIVING IN THIS COMPLEX AND FRANKLY THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO SAY! THE GOOD: I LOVE MY APARTMENT IT HAS SOMETHING MAGICAL, THE LOCATION OF IT, IT IS PRETTY COOL AND I FEEL LIKE A HAVE A REAL GOOD CONNECTION WITH IT.. MAYBE IT'S THE WAY I DECORATED IT AND BECAUSE ITS HIDDEN AND ALL I CAN SEE IS TREES AND NATURE... I DON'T KNOW. IT IS PRIVATE AND I LIKE THAT. AND THE PRICE IS ALRIGHT DECENT EXCEPT THE WATER BILL THAT GETS DIVED BY EVERYONE. THE BAD: OMG, MY NEIGHBORS UPSTAIRS KIDS RUNNING AT 1 OR 2AM IN THE MORNING LIKE FREAKING SAVAGES. THE VIEW FROM MY BALCONY IS NICE IF U JUST LOOK STRAIGHT AHEAD BUT YOU LOOK DOWN AND IS NASTY FOOL OF CIGARETTE BUTS LIKE NO ONE EVER COMES TO CLEAN IT IS SO NASTY. THE TENNIS COURT NEED SOME MAINTENANCE IS TOO OLD BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE ITS THE WORST IS GROSS, WHEN U FIRST LOOKING INTO RENTING THEIR APARTMENT'S EVERYONE TREATS YOU GREAT AND OVER ACT TO GET U TO RENT LISA WAS SUPER NICE TO ME AND THEN SHE TOTALLY CHANGED HER ATTITUDE, I MEAN IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB WHY U STILL HERE? BUT ONCE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT EVERYONE BECOMES AUTOMATICALLY AGAINST YOUR NEEDS, AND THEY ARE RUDE AND WITH AN ATTITUDE, THERE ARE QUITE A FEW PEOPLE THAT I HATE ALREADY, JUST TO SEE HEIR FACES MAKES ME SICK! AND YOU CAN TELL RIGHT AWAY THAT THEY DON'T LIKE ME EITHER, SO UNCOMFORTABLE LIVING HERE, HAVING TO PAY RENT AND SEE THEIR MISERABLE FACES EVERY MONTH JUST TO STOP BY AND PAY RENT, TRUST ME, I WISH I CAN MAIL THE CHECK INSTEAD BUT I CAN'T... THE THING IS, THEY GET MAD AFTER YOU REACT.. BECAUSE YOUR TO NICE AT FIRST AND PRETTY MUCH PUT UP WITH THEIR LAZINESS THAT WHEN U TELL THEM UR ACTUALLY PISSED OF BECAUSE THEY HAVE TAKEN 2 MONTHS TO COME AND FIX THE CLOGGED BATHROOM SINK WHAT U ASKED FOR THEY GIVE YOU AN ATTITUDE OR MAYBE JAY OR LISA THE MANAGER WILL TELL YOU THAT YOUR NOT THEIR PRIORITY AND THEY HAVE TO MANY OTHER NEW PEOPLE THEY ARE PRIORITY AND WHEN THEIR DONE YOU WILL GET THEIR SERVICES, I MEAN WHAT THE HELL?? DON'T FREAKING TELL ME I'M NOT A PRIORITY? I AM PAYING RENT LIKE EVERY ONE ELSE....AND LET ME TELL YOU THIS INCONVENIENCES START AS SOON AS YOU SIGN THAT FREAKING LEASE, I KNOW MAYBE A LOT OF YOU WILL SAY WHY THE HECK I DON'T MOVE OUT THEN, LIKE I SAID I LOVE THE BOND I HAVE WITH THE APARTMENT AND IS CHEAP AND I REALLY DON'T LIKE MOVING OUT AND HAVING TO CARRY ALL OF MY STUFF ALL OVER AGAIN, BUT I RECENTLY BEEN SO PISSED OF, THIS IS MY LAST YEAR HERE FOR REAL, I WAS GONE FROM MY APARTMENT 15 DAYS AGO THIS PEOPLE GOT IN MY APARTMENT LEFT A NOTE ON THE TABLE THAT THEY WENT INSIDE ON JUNE 25TH, I GOT BACK HOME JULY THE 1ST AND I NOTICED SOMETHING WAS DIFFERENT, MY KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM LIGHT WERE ON AND SOME THINGS I HAD INSIDE MY KITCHEN CLOSET WERE THROWN ON MY KITCHEN FLOOR, SO THAT MEANS, THEY CAME INSIDE MY APARTMENT LEFT ME A MESS IN MY KITCHEN THAT I HAD TO PICK UP, MY LIGHT STAYED ON FOR A PERIOD OF 5 FREAKING DAYS THAT OBVIOUSLY I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT AND WHEN I TOLD LISA ABOUT IT SHE GAVE ME THIS NASTY AND UGLY FACE AND SHE WAS LIKE UGHHH?, I SAID TO HER DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, I KNOW U GUYS DON'T CARE EITHER WAY SO WHATEVER, SHE DIDN'T SAID ANYTHING.... AND OF COURSE SHE WASN'T GOING TO SAY ANYTHING AFTER I HAD A REAL BIG ARGUMENT WITH JAY THE MANAGER ABOUT MY CHECK HE LOST. ONE DAY 2 MONTHS AGO, I HAD GONE TO THE OFFICE AND DROPPED MY CHECK 4 DAYS BEFORE THE DUE DATE AND I GAVE IT PERSONALLY TO JAY(MANAGER) IN HIS HANDS, I WAS SITTING DOWN IN THE OFFICE SPEAKING TO LISA WHEN HE APPROACHED ME SAYING I COULDN'T GIVE HER THE CHECK BC MY APARTMENT INSURANCE WAS EXPIRED???? AND I WAS LIKE OMG, THIS IS THE SAME -------- HE BOTHER'S ME EVERY FREAKING MONTH!, I WAS LIKE JAY, MY INSURANCE IS ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR, THE WHOLE 6 MONTHS AND HE WAS LIKE WELL HAVE THEM FAX ME THE COPY AND THEN YOU CAN PAY RENT, SO I GAVE HIM THE CHECK IN HIS HAND AND I TOLD HIM I AM GONNA HAVE THEM FAX U WHATEVER U NEED RIGHT NOW BUT I GOTTA GO TO WORK, SO I LEFT AND ON MY WAY TO WORK I CALLED ALLSTATE AND TOLD THEM TO PLEASE FAX THE PROOF OF INSURANCE TO JAY BC HE WOULDN'T CHARGE MY CHECK SO THEY DID RIGHT AWAY, SO I AM THINKING THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE FAX, SO 4 DAYS LATER I FIND OUT I HAVE A LETTER IN MY APARTMENT DOOR SAYING TO VACATE MY APARTMENT BC I HAVE NOT PAYED RENT!!!! SO I CALLED THEM IMMEDIATELY TO ASK HIM WHY HE DIDN'T POST MY CHECK, AND HE SAID THAT HE NEVER GOT MY FAX AND THAT HE CAME TO MY APARTMENT AND DROPPED THE CHECK ON THE SIDE OF MY DOOR... THAT CHECK IS BEEN LOST EVER SINCE, I HAVEN'T GOT THE CHECK AND OBVIOUSLY THEY NEVER CARED ABOUT LOSING IT, THEY ASK ME TO BRING THEM ANOTHER CHECK IF I DIDN'T WANT TO GET CHARGED LATE FEE, I WAS SO ANGRY BC YOU DON'T DO THAT I'VE BEEN LIVING HER FOR 3 YEARS AND NEVER BOTHER THEM BUT WHEN THEY DO ---- LIKE THIS AND THEY SEEM NOT TO CARE OF COURSE I'M GONNA DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, SO I CALLED LATER ON AGAIN AND I ASKED ONE OF THE OTHER GIRLS THAT WORKS THERE AND ASK HER TO PROVIDE ME WITH THE CORPORATE NUMBER OFFICE SHE TOLD ME TO HOLD ON AND SHE TRANSFER ED ME TO JAY IMMEDIATELY, JAY PICKS UP AND WAS LIKE WHY DO YOU NEED THE THE CORP NUMBER AND I TOLD HIM STRAIGHT UP, HE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE AND I WAS TIRED OF EVERYONE IN THERE TREATING ME LIKE IF I AM NOT WORTH IT, AND HE WAS LIKE YOU KNOW THATS NOT TRUTH I ALWAYS HELPED YOU WHICH IS A LIE, BC IF HE HAD AND WOULD OF BEEN A DIFFERENT PERSON HE WOULD OF HOLD MY CHECK, CALLED ME AND SAY HEY I HAVEN'T GOT UR FAX INSTEAD OF LEAVING MY CHECK IN THE DOOR FOR SOMEONE TO STEAL IT! TO MAKE THE STORY SHORT HE DIDN'T GAVE ME THE NUMBER, HE SAID THAT HE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ALOUD TO GIVE THE CORPORATE NUMBER UNLESS I HAD SPOKEN TO ANOTHER MANAGER FIRST, SERIOUSLY??? SO I GOT ONLINE FOUND THE NUMBER, CALLED! AND SPOKE THE THE SUPERVISOR, NEXT TIME I CALLED JAY HE GAVE ME A TERRIBLE ATTITUDE PISSED OF I HAD CALLED, BUT U KNOW WHAT I DO NOT CARE... THEY HAVE NEVER TRIED TO ACTUALLY BE NICE TO ME EITHER WAY SO WHATEVER, I HAVE HAD ENOUGH WITH THIS PEOPLE... RENT IS SEMI DECENT, NOW IS STARTING TO GO UP LIKE EVERY OTHER APARTMENT AROUND THE AREA AND THE WATER BILL IS RIDICULOUS I LIVE BY MY SELF AND I BARELY SPEND TIME AT MY APARTMENT ANYMORE AND I STILL PAY LIKE 45 ON WATER EVERY MONTH, LET'S SAY THIS PAST MONTH I WAS OUT OF TOWN FOR 3 WEEKS AND MY WATER BILL WAS 45 BUCKS ARE YOU SERIOUS?? , I HAVE TO SAY THE MAINTENANCE SUCKS, THE UNITS ARE SO OLD AND THEY DON'T EVEN TRY HARD TO MAKE THEM LOOK BETTER, THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES THEM LOOK NICE IS THAT THERE IS A LOT OF NATURE AROUND SO IT KINDA BLENDS. THE POOL, IS NASTY, IS LIKE GETTING IN WATER FOOL OF NASTY FLOATING STUFF, EVERY YEAR IS THE SAME THING, AND WHEN U ASK THEM TO CLEAN IT, THERE LIKE AWEE SOMEONE CLEANED IT YESTERDAY WOOOOOW, I DON'T THINK THE APARTMENT ARE THE BAD THING, I THINK THE STAFF NEEDS TO GET THE HELL FIRED AND HIRE A WHOLE NEW STAFF WITH PEOPLE THEY WILL ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE COMMUNITY AND DO THEIR JOB THE WAY IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE. BY THE WAY! I HAVE TO ADMIT THERE IS ONE PERSON I REALLY ENJOY HE WORKS ON SOME OF THE APARTMENT MAINTENANCE HIS NAME IS JAY TOO.. BUT HE HAS ALWAYS THE BEST ATTITUDE EVER HE SMILES ALL THE TIME, I BELIEVE HE COULD ACTUALLY BE A GREAT MANAGER FOR THE COMPLEX, HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING, NEVER COMPLAINS OR TALKS BAD ABOUT ANYONE, AND HE GETS HIS THINGS DONE!ANYHOW I SAID ENOUGH NOT EVERYTHING BUT ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE TO SEE WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE WORKS HERE, THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU MOVE HERE.....

                      Nice lies

I am going to cover my full experience here so far, the good and bad. When I first came looking I liked the price and that they had a washer/dryer in the units. The apartment I was going to get at first they were pushing me to pre-lease since there were still tenants in the apartment. I'm very glad I did not. The apartment I originally went for was disgusting, needed a lot of work and was very small, not how they described the differences from the model they showed me. I ended up getting another one that I saw that was a little nicer since it was larger and much "nicer" than the original. The good: - It's cheap - the staff in the office is friendly - plenty of parking - The first month they responded to requests within 3 days The bad: - After the first month it would take weeks for them to do any requests and I would constantly have to bring it back up to them. Usually the requests were repeat requests because they didn't do it the first time at all or they did a piss poor job the first time. - Ton of bugs, I like to have my Windows open... I don't keep them open here. The screens are not properly made for the windows so they are not on properly and bugs get around them very easily. I literally keep a can of raid by my windows. There was a 3 week period where everyday when I got home the first thing I had to do was kill all the bugs that got into my apartment that day while I was at work... even with the windows shut. Long process for them to get new screens which they said they did after about a month, but it looks exactly the same, so my guess is they lied about getting new screens. Or they just did a bad job again at getting screens that fit properly. - When I first came here it was pretty quiet with my neighbors. My new neighbors wake me up almost every night between 1am-3am. I honestly would not be surprised if some residents here had meth labs set up. - Today (memorial day weekend) I was looking forward to for a while since they told me they would be opening the pool. I went to the gym this morning and asked why it wasn't open (around 10am). I was told "it should be now since the maintenance guy just got in". On my way back from the gym I stopped off to see if the pool was open. As you can see from the picture... it is still locked. - When I first got the water bill... which is split by the entire building, I thought it was expensive. I did some research and found out that I was being overcharged. They say they fixed it and the extra amount should be taken out of the next months bill. It may be fixed since it is a little lower, but they definitely did not take the extra amount I've been paying out. I am also rarely home so being that this bill is split screws me.

                        Great Experience during relocation transition

I spent just over six months at Jasmine at Holcomb Bridge. It was a temporary home during my relocation to the area and we recently moved out after purchasing a new condo. The staff was always courteous and helpful, maintenance requests were few but response was very quick when one was made. The grounds are well maintained and lighted and compact washer/dryer unit was included in the apartment and monthly rent. This was a key factor for me given my situation, other apartments I looked at charged more for the laundry equipment, even though they had a higher rent to begin with. Most of our neighbors were long-term occupants, and they were all very hapy with the complex.

                          Way better than expected!

I had to move short notice - my roommate sold her house and I couldn't afford a very expensive apartment on my own. I moved in to Jasmine at Holcomb Bridge because one of my coworkers lives here and he has said good things. I wasn't expecting much, because I know when your rent is cheap, you normally get a crappy apartment with a staff who could care less (from my previous apt experience at least...) However, I am very pleased with the my overall experience at Jasmine. I live in a top floor two bedroom & 1 bathroom home that I got for less than a one bedroom price. So here is the real deal: Noise level - moderate, I live on top floor, so there it is very quiet in my home. When I am on the patio, some cars will drive by with stereos CRANKED up. Safety- So far so good. Not gated but thats OK, staff said there is a courtesy officer, I have not met him, but neighbors say he patrols nightly and is a nice guy. Amenities - Wish the business center was open 24/7 but all the amenities are nice enough, the gym could use some TVs but all the equipment is new and kept clean Maintenance - very friendly. My apartment wasnt ready when I moved in so there were quite a few work orders to be put in but the maintenance guys were friendly and took care of most everything relatively quickly CONS: The appliances!!! Everything is older - Im coming from all stainless steel so I really hated it at first, but everything works. Also, I have seen 2 German Shepherds in the building next to mine and they are not suppose to be allowed here. I am wondering if the staff knows about this. PROS: Price, friendly staff, & amenities.

                            STAY AWAY!

Customer service was great! Super friendly and attentive staff. I figured the area wasnt so bad and the rent was cheap. I am a woman and I live alone, after 10 months I really didnt have much to complain about until I got a BRICK thrown thru my bedroom window in the middle of the night. Literally everything was touched, torn apart. My couches were flipped up, my bathroom utilities were even taken apart. Im terrifyied to sleep in my place, I once called home. Police and detectives had come over and flat out told me either I move or I should invest in a gun. I hate weapons...so im trying to transfer apartment or break my lease and theyre excuse is "its not our fault you got broken into." WTF!!!??? Its not my fault either! Im now sleeping on my friends couch until I figure out what to do, while all my belongings are still there. They still have not fixed my window or utilities. Anyone looking be safe regardless of where you live. But I definitely wouldnt move here.

first moved in and thought my neighbor was crazy b/c she kept asking me if I had roaches. soon after I had a few then they were everywere. eventhough they keep spraying roaches come back. the problem just got bigger and bigger. Im talking roaches in the bathroom, crawling on the tv.it was disgusting. soon as I could move I hauled a**. front office knew why I left but had nothing to say(they know there is a roach problem). the office started out with young friendly helpful ladies that didnt last long. now they 're old rude and quick to tell you whats not their job. dont be fooled by the front office look they have some real old tried apartments mixed with renovated ones. dont move here even if its a deal you'll spend that money buying new funiture and applanices. had to bomb my new apartment b/c roach hopped in for the move too!!!!!!!!!!!

beware of this awfully shady place

where to begin? when i first moved in I was blatantly LIED to and told that I could keep my 1 year old german shepherd. I was told this by of the many incompetent people in the leasing office. He said as long as I paid the pet fee I should be fine. So after I already had signed my lease, and moved in, I went into the office to pay the fee only to find out from the property manager that german shepherds were on the "banned" dog list. Awesome, now I am stuck in a lease that I cant afford to break and I have to get rid of my dog. One of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. A week after I moved in I met my neighbor across the hall, who happened to be manager of the entire maintenance crew. He decided to inform me that about 1 month prior to my move in, his apartment door was crowbarred open in broad daylight and every valuable thing that could be taken was. He also informed me that the same exact thing happened to my downstairs neighbor 6 months prior to his break in. To be honest I never had any experience with theft/robbery here except for something I will touch on in a moment, but I still didnt feel safe after hearing their own employees horror story. Beyond that, everything in the apartment is AT LEAST 10 years old. Only 1 eye on the stove works. The refrigerator door has literally FALLEN OFF because it is so damn old, and maintenance simply screwed it back on and told me I would get a new fridge. That was 6 months ago, I still have the same fridge that has a door that is barely hanging on. Also like other people have said, my electric bill can sometimes be completely outrageous. Im talking like 200-300 dollars. BUGS----> Ants, roaches, spiders. Everything you can think of this place is absolutely INFESTED. Im talking ARMIES of ants crawling IN YOUR BED while you sleep. Their "exterminator" is nothing more then a maintenance guy with some bug spray. Now for the icing on the cake. In september of 2010 I went in to pay my rent on the first of the month, just like any other month. I use a money order since I do not keep a check book. I went to physically turn in the rent myself, directly to the office manager like I normally do. However, she was extremely busy and took my money order and just put it with the other money orders/rent checks in the drop box. I guess she was to lazy to collect them all before she left that night, and someone broke into the office and stole $100,000 worth of rent in money orders and checks. They took these to a bank and forged signatures on them and collected a nice amount from the ones that were usable. Mine happened to be one of these, and since the Payee part on the money order wasn't stamped when I handed it in, the thief had no problem writing in their own name and cashing it in. A few people managed to get western union to reissue a new money order since theirs weren't cashed, I unfortunately was told by western union there was nothing they can do in my case. This leads to the office trying to RECHARGE me for the september rent that ive ALREADY PAID. The property manager even acknowledges that she accepted my money order on that day and they know for absolute certainty that I actually paid it. This place is an absolute joke. Please listen to these terrible reviews and avoid this place like the plague. Im now having to fight them in court to avoid having them put a delinquency on my credit report for missed rent >>>THATS ALREADY BEEN PAID<<< and was lost by their own negligence. This place will turn there head at any problems you have but come after you for every penny they can. I left my apartment completely flawless from when I moved in and I cant wait to see the nonsense they are going to try to charge me for when im finally gone (thank god). Sorry for ranting but this is been a very frustrating experience. If you want to live in a dirty cheap rats nest then please look here. But if you have any shred of intelligence or dignity stay far away from this place. Hope this review was helpful in changing your mind on this place.

I think the issue is you have to ask for things with education, which many people do not. The apartment is comfortable and the rent is very convemiente. If people want better infracestructura or designs, then go to another complex to pay more ...... The thing that bothers me tha most is the construction is so bad.. As I walk through the apartment the floor squeaks. yes. the floor. I can hear people having a conversation next door under me and they not even yelling most of the time. My apartment has mold problems.. always have problems and they never come and fix it. I have to continously call and nag them to come out and look at it. the mold on the ceiling... they came and painted over it. It is still there and my health tells me its still there. I can hardly breath in my apartment. the vents to the AC are rusted. They paint over everything to cover it up.. PICS coming soon. Thats only just a little of whats wrong with these apartments... DO NOT DO IT!

                                      Beware of Black Mold

I lived At Jasmine at Holcomb Bridge for 6 years. My apartment's greenhouse was leaking inside the sunroom wall and when I noticed mold growing through the wall I notified the office. They did not fix the problem, instead, they hired a couple of guys to replace the drywall, leaving the mold to continue to grow. All of my things were contaminated by this black mold which was distributed throughout the apartment when the guys were replacing the drywall. The mold grew back through the drywall in a very short time, then the complex painted over the mold and took a picture of a clean wall for court. These people are shady, beware of this apartment complex. Black Mold Can Kill You. Look it up online, there is a lot of information about the effects of Black Mold. This place is contaminated with the toxic kind. I had a professional company come in amd test the air quality and inside the wall as well, the mold in the apartment was toxic. For those sitll living there, are you or your family constantly have breathing problems, sick with colds or asthma type symptoms? If so, get to an ENT doctor and be checked for black mold poisioning.

They changed from Greenhouse to Jasmine while I was living there. The Greenhouse office staff was really nice and friendly. The Jasmine group not so much. We were actually hoping to stay and upgrade to a bigger apartment but we just decided to move all together. Loved the reasonable rent and included washer and dryer. Perfect location and two ways to get out.

                                          Terrible communication Issues concerning maintenance

The apartment itself, is cozy.It took multiple calls to the leasing office and constant bickering with random maintenance men to finally feel comfortable in my home. Something is always going wrong. We had a leak coming from the ceiling for a month in the bathroom, the dishwasher was rusted completely out, the refrigerator didn't work, the wiring has a short in the lighting in 2 rooms, my ceiling fan fell from the ceiling and broke all over my floor in the greenroom, roaches tried to dominate the apartment, the air conditioner kept going out during the summer, water leaks through the windows in the greenroom when it rains hard, water comes in through the floor panel in the greenroom when it rains hard. This has caused mildew to form on the walls in the greenroom. The problem has lingered for 2 months. Notifying the leasing office is pointless. They say its documented, they say someone came to look at it...when really they didn't. You end up wasting time as they put in multiple fake work orders for one of their lazy maintenance crew members to do NOTHING! I hate this apartment complex, can't wait for the lease to be up so that I can move. Rent should be a hundred dollars less than it is. This place is one step up from living in housing projects.

this place is really bad....the stairs are falling apart....they dont fix it....probably they will wait until somebody will fall and brake his neck....something brakes in the apartment every day, the pipe was leaking in the kitchen almost a week, i called the office every day, they told me that somebody will come to fix it...and they finally came in a week...so i had the cabinet wet, and water all over the place....they dont give a notice when the pest control guy must come in, so when he came he just opened the door with his key and I was standing in front of him in my underwear....if they wash breezeway, they dont give us a notice either, so the door mat was wet and of course they washed my door in an excellent way so the water was standing inside the apartment , and even the carpet was wet.... they dont give a notice that they will shut down the water, so you can stay the whole day without water.... yeah, and the last thing there is no light...so if you come home when its dark, you will try to find the doorlock cause you won`t see anything...

I cannot stress enough of how bad this place is. Upon moving in the dryer and a/c didn't work. The place was infested with ants and roaches. Roaches were nesting behind pictures hanging on the wall. The exterminator wanted to move the tenants out so he can get the infestation under control, which didn't happen. The a/c unit outside was from 1980 and would run all the time. My electric bill was around $250 monthly. I complained every week and they still would not fix it. They would show up, say it was fine and then that was it. I finally bought an electronic thermostat and put it in myself which didn't help. The blinds were all melted when I moved in from the sun and yet they charged me for damaged blinds when I moved out. One night a storm came through and knocked out all my receptcles in the house. Only the fridge and tv one worked. None of the breakers were tripped. It took 2 weeks for someone to come look at it and they were still unable to fix it. Nobody empties the trash at the pool/picnic areas so they are overflowing with garbage and all the kids in the neighborhood like to play soccer ball until 2:00am in the morning even though the court closes at 10:00PM. There are abandoned cars parked everywhere in the parking lot some taken apart and covered with tarps. When I complained about it they did nothing. The breezeway lights never worked and the stairs I had to climb to get to my apartment felt like they were going to fall down. I was constantly taking my own hammer out there to drive in nails that were coming out of them. Next door they had a pitbull they kept locked on their patio that would bark all night. The playgound has mexican graffiti written all over it. There was also a dead body that was pulled from one of the buildings when I was there.
