Not a home environment Office Staff very unprofessional.
The environment here at Greenhouse is one not of home but of the feeling of having to constantly justify yourself to the office staff on any issue that you may have. It feels like no one will work with you on any issues and the attitude that you receive from the staff is really unprofessional. I have had some friends and family move to the city of Atlanta within the past year and did not and would not recommend this place to anyone. My lease is up soon and I will certainly be out of here.

Unexpected Fees
No one should move to Greenhouse Apartments. They started off being good but quickly went downhill. The worst apartments community I have ever lived before. I'm getting out next month and I thank God for that because if they tell me I owe them money for one more thing I will scream. They can never explain what the fees are for, but they say your rent won't be accepted without it. And then if they don't take your rent, you face eviction. I say they are good at black male. They want you to pay both your gas company and them for gas service. The office management stinks. All they do is get attitudes when you ask them questions. I say the office manager Adriana and her assistant Kristen must go. They will be the reason why everyone moves out. They do their own thing with the fees. Do they think that people work only to pay them. I am going to corporate and court with this issue. I do not want anyone else to fall victim. I am speaking on behalf of at least 20 Greenhouse residents that I personally know. Everyone is tired. This should be our home, instead it's hell.

Poor Managment
This place started off ok... But soon after the management started showing their true colors... Where do I start... well first off, when I went to look at the property I wanted a main level apartment, they took me and showed me the apartment that they were going to "hold" for me. When it was time to move in they gave me the keys to the gorund level apartment below and then decided to tell me that the one they showed me was no longer vacant and someone moved in. Since the ground level apartment was larger I had no problem with that, however they told me that the price would be a little bit higher since I had a "pool side view". I didn't really mind that either since I liked the idea of having the pool near by so it was no big deal. It was the beginning of August I signed the 12 mo. lease and I figured that I could take advantage of the pool b4 it closed since it was almost Fall. Now, remember that apartment above me that I originally wanted...well it's now October and guess what it was not occupied, the same leasing agent that showed me the place must have liked it a lot since she was the one that moved in there in October and took the apartment that I wanted. I figured no big deal since it's probably safer up there for a single "white female" than down on the ground level where she could get mugged or someone could break into her Family Dollar furnished aprartment. When I moved in I got confirmation from the leasing office to have a satellite dish installed however, since my new neighbor moved in she decided that she didn't like the idea of having to look down at my window and seeing a satellite dish outside of my window. So what did she do? She calls maintenance to come and remove my dish. When I found out that my dish was gone I called in to the leasing office and they were not aware of the fact that their maintenance men had a order to remove my dish. So I talked to one of the maintenance men and when I finally deciphered the Spanish I made out the name of my neighbor upstairs (yes the leasing agent that stole my apartment). I went back to the office and advised the manager that the neighbor placed the order for the dish to be removed and to my surprise I was advised that she no longer was employed by the Greenhouse Apts. WOW!!!!! Anyway I ended up having my dish re-installed and had the cost taken out of my rent. I also gave that sneaky biiiiaaatch upstairs a piece of my mind. A few months later I hear the chic upstairs getting her brains beat out of her (so much for being safe on the main level) so I feel sorry for her and call the police to help her out and shut her the hell up but she never comes to the door. I guess she was too embarassed or whatever. But then out of the blue 2 weekends straight the police pay me a visit saying that a neighbor heard screaming coming from my apartment. Go figure who the culprit was. This fued became outrageous and I contemplated moving to another unit in the complex however by this time it was April and I didn't have too much more time left in this joint. So now it's the end of Spring and here comes summer I can take full advantage of this pool side access and view but what do they decide to do??... repair the foundation of the pool and replace pipes. Everymorning at 8 am you hear the trucks and hammering and pounding of the equipment right outside my window. Oh not to mention the ------- frogs that migrated to my stair well as their habbitat was rehabilitated. Anyway, they spent the whole summer repairing the pool and it was not until the end of August was I even able to take a dip into the pool and by then it was time for me to move since my "lease" was up. Oh yeah when they asked me to renew my lease they increased the rent by almost $100 and justified this because of the repairs to the pool. In my opinion I paid for the upgrades to the pool already in my rent and the visitation of the damn frogs.Anyway my transition into a more professional establishment was smooth and easy, I was able to get the apartment that I wanted. Now 4 months after moving from that hell hole and getting my security deposti back, I get a ------- collection letter in the mail from Greenhouse telling me that I broke my lease and I owe them over $600. When I asked for an itemization of these charges they tell me that I broke my lease by moving out a month before my lease was up. I asked them when did my "12 month lease end" and the rep tells me in August, however I am being charged for the month of Septembers rent and penalty charges. Please if you have options do not move here if they offer you any deal believe you me you will end up paying for it in the end. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!

no complaints... yet!
I was concerned for my sons safety after he moved out on his own.. So far he is very happy with the maintenance and overall community.. I am satisfied with his safety. Because of his working hours sometimes I visit very late at night and I have never had a problem and always felt safe. The apartment was delivered clean and all repairs/concerns were addressed immediately by the office staff.

I hate Green House Apartments!
They will not get back to you, nor will they send maitenance out to your apartment after you've requested it a thousand times! I actually terminated my lease early, i didn't even care how much it costs! Not only are is the staff unprofessional, the apartments are not all that great.

If you are still interested take a look around the complex there is TRASH EVERYWHERE!

Take my word for it look somewhere else!

I had also heard gunshots during the night, witnessed drunk -------- run their car into a parked moving truck (called the Alpharetta police who did nothing because it wasn´t my truck) and had my car keyed twice while living there. The air-conditioner went out more than once. Management/leasing staff are unprofessional.I once received a ´notice to vacate due to non-payment of rent´. I printed out my cancelled check, brought it to management and all I got was an "Oh, somebody made a mistake." I made a mistake renting there. Don´t make the same mistake.

I will be moving into a house soon and thankfully can put Greenhouse behind me. I havent had a problem with theft or my neighbors....yet

welcome to the hotel mexicana
first off i would like to say those of you who had nothing but nice comments about the complex are probably people that work here or your views are obscured by the stench of old spice or stetson. Are you kidding me these kids are like wild animals they should have a sign that says do not feed the children they will attack(literally your vehicle or your pet). i also enjoy the sounds at 3 am when i am trying to sleep an people don´t like to get out of thier cars around here (because it isn´t safe) an knock on someones door like normal americans instead they decide to honk their horns for five minutes.....real nice!!!!!!!

For those of you considering greencard, i mean greenhouse apts you are crazy you would be better off boiling your water at a camp site on the side of the hooch than paying outrageous heat an energy bills at this godforsaken place. i have been here for almost 2 years an i thought that it might get better but it is gradually being invaded an managment is not concerened about the quality of its tenants anymore i think it is the quantity, isn´t 15 people in a three bedroom a fire hazard??!! I also feel kind of out of place here i mean with the exception of a few everyone in the whole entire complex is related. The only time it is even remotley quiet is if dos copas is showing a soccer game an margaritas are half off or they all piled into 3 1986 aerostar minivans because they heard there was a flea market in town somewhere.

I could go on forever but what really got me was the other day i was coming home an as i was getting out of my car i looked down an there was a condom laying on the sidewalk real classy,,,, along with numerous beer botles an cans eveywhere to. basically this place is an overpriced dump an if you like the smell of body odor, cheap cologne, grease, trash, and marijuana this is right up your alley. Also, if you like to see trash bags on someones porch for weeks on end, brokendown probably stolen vehicles in your parking space, a lady walking with 6 kids like they were dogs across holcomb bridge during rush hour, 5 guys changing a bumper on a car drinking beer, or shopping carts from kroger everywhere than this is right up your alley. Also, if you like hearung gunshots, loud terrible music that you probaly don´t understand, people talking that you don´t understand, and kids screaming at other kids who are yelling at someones dogs who is barking at the mexican trying to break into your house which is not protected but by a single chain lock, then greenhouse is for you.

I will never live in another apt complex because of my experience here, it should say mexihouse apts where 15 can live comfortably. Oh yeah, if you do decide to live here good luck, bring a gun, 4 pit bulls, an a adt alarm syatem. i think i have covered all the basics. good luck an thank you for not choosing greenhouse.

By Far the Worst Apartment I´ve lived in
This was our first apartment, and thankfully they´ve all been a million times better than this place. First, this is an incredibly dirty place. It is very noisy, and unsafe. There was probably a break-in, car break-in, or rape/attack of some sort several times a month. They would send out nice little notices informing us of how crime is a part of every day life...nice. We once went out of town for a couple of weeks and came in to find our carpet flying through the air...seriously!! Our water heater had exploded while we were away, and flooded the house. A fan had been installed to dry the carpet while we were out. Maintainance had just decided to trash our apartment while they were dealing with the problem, and our furniture was thrown throughout the place. Don´t try to find a good parking space in the evening either, most of the apartments house around 7 people per room, so the lot stacks up...

So far, so good! :)
I read the reviews of this place after I signed my lease and so I´ve been holding my breath to experience all the bad things others wrote about. I´ve been in my apartment for 5 months and so far, I couldn´t be happier. The office staff, although a bit flutstered at times and always busy, has been prompt with any problems or concerns I´ve had. My neighbors are very courteous and friendly and my closer space is amazing. I´d for sure recommend this community for the price.

terrible
I moved in and have had nothing but problems and headaches ever since. The complex is not safe with many security issues. I would recommend not moving into this complex if you value safety security and happiness. I won´t go into my details, but i find it interesting that several bldgs around me, including my own, have about a 60 percent frequent turnover rate, with people not staying their thru their leases. beyond my security concerns, my car been vandalized, the front door has NO weather stripping on the door allowing my utility bills to skyrocket. I could go on, but bottom line, renter beware.....

I agree this is a NO!
I completely and whole-heartedly agree with all the residents who have been unhappy with their residence at Greenhouse. In the beginning it was nice....but in the last year, it has completely gone down.

I have lived in the complex for two years and greatfully will be moving in a cople of months due to my frustration. I will just reiterate everything that everyone else has said....

1) Children...yes children will be children...but this a childs dream. Complete freedom to run free and raise havic at all times of the day and week.

2) Maintenance....I agree they are professional and fast, but the buildings are on old and you can be sure that the maintenance crew will be your friends because you will always call for them.

3) Utility Bills....heating your apartment is ridiculous because the apt is old and poorly insallated...in the winter you will pay a high price for living here...no matter how much you try not to. The complex also bases water charges on the building usage instead of individual. Doesn´t is seem wierd that my water bill is higher than some of my friends with 3 & 4 bedroom homes???

4) The Leasing Office....overall they are nice and accomadating...but as a previous review states....I feel that they think a smile will get rid of your problems instead of investigating and finding the real solution!

BOTTOM LINE....If you LIKE to have loud children running around at all times of the day and night, spending your days keeping up with maintenance requests, recieving extremely high utility bills, and coming home to notices every other month informing you a new break in or "occurance" has happened on the property......this place is for you.

If not...RUN!

I agree - horrible ´management´
I have read all of the postings. Those tenants who say that this apartment complex is a quiet place with well behaved children obviously do not live anywhere near building 23 (where I live). The one who mentioned the horrible kids breaking everything and always in the parking lot must live near me because I have the same problems. I can assure you that he/she is 100% correct.

One of the postings mentioned that single people don´t like kids and that must be why they think that the kids are so misbehaved. He/she also said that kids need a place to play. That person obviously has no idea what it means to keep your children well behaved while giving them plenty of room to run and play -- supervised and NOT in the way of traffic. These kids near my bldg are NEVER supervised and they run wild.

I couldnt be happier here
I read what some of the other posters said and was extremely suprised. I have lived at Greenhouse for several years and have never expieriance or witnessed anything like they suggested.

Greenhouse is extremely quiet. I never hear anything and have always been amazed by how peaceful it is here. There are children in my building but they are well behaved and seem to be very nice. I think sometimes single people just dont like kids..... And, in case you didnt know it is against the law in this country to discrminate against families in terms of providing housing.

I have lived in communities that were brand new with no kids and actually had more problems than I have ever had here.

I would take these posters with a grain of salt. Usually when people get on here its because they are mad about something else that is probably their own fault in the first place. THats the thing I think can be wrong with sights like this.

I would definately recommend Greenhouse to anyone. As a matter a fact, one of the girls in the leasing office told me last week that almost all of the new people who move in here are referals. That sounds pretty positive to me.

Great Place To Live
I am a newcomer (July) to the Alpharetta area, and was surprised by the outstanding customer service and "can do" attitude I found with Greenhouse Apartments. The office staff was (and still is) very helpful in making my move a smooth one. They are friendly, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile. The paperwork was painless, the value is incredible, the grounds are beautiful, and my apartment is "the bomb". The maintenance staff has responded immediately to my requests. They were courteous and willing to explain the work that they were doing. They even cleaned the area after they had finished!!! The landscapers are here all the time pruning, planting, blowing the parking lots, and removing debris. I cannot express how much the management at Greenhouse has renewed my faith in apartment living. What is usually a stressful event (moving) has been a most pleasant experience.

Poor Service/Decision Makers
I have lived in Greenhouse Apartments for one and a half years. During this time, I have had problems with my apartment which were not addressed, I have had noise concerns and concerns for my safety that have not been addressed.

There is no gate to the complex, people regularly speed through the area, there have been accidents in the complex because of this. Noise ordinances are completely ignored and not addressed by Greenhouse apartments. My advice, do not move into Greenhouse Apartments or any Beazer home owned by Greenhouse. You will be disappointed.

I find that hard to believe
I have children in my building who play outside on a daily basis. However, they are nice, polite and well behaved. I think sometimes people forget that children need a place to play. Plus if someone refuses to rent based on kids, it is against the law!!! So, you cant use that as a deciding factor.

I havent seen anything even close to those types of things here. After livign here for my 4th year, I couldnt be happier.

Some people just forget its apartment living. If they want complete quiet and everything to be brand new...maybe they should build a brand new house on 40 acres.

Is it perfect here? No, is it like that person described? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!

I think you should still check it out. I have lived in apartments for over 10 years and this is the quietest, most serence place I have ever seen.
