Great location. The manager, Silmarie is great. Ivan was also very helpful to work with. Upon move in, my AC wasn't cooling well, but management took care of it. My appliances have an odd food odor. Parking is limited. Moved in and learned I have a smoker as a neighbor and management is addressing this also. Someone was sitting in their car blasting their music once...otherwise for my 1st 3 days, it's been quiet.

2 Friendly Staff, Disappointing Overall Experience

I want to start by saying that Ivan has always been kind, respectful, and helpful whenever I have interacted with him. Devin was also been kind and professional in my experience. I truly appreciate their attitude and customer service. Unfortunately, my overall experience living here has not been positive. There are several additional fees that were not clearly explained at the beginning of my lease. For example, residents are charged an additional $8- 9 per month for exterior lighting, while also paying separately for the electricity inside the apartment. Despite paying for the exterior lighting, the parking lot lights are frequently out. There have been multiple occasions where the lights stayed out for days before being fixed. This contributes to ongoing safety concerns at night. Safety has been a significant issue for me. A package that was left at my door was opened before I could retrieve it. On another occasion, I found a rock placed behind one of my front tires, and shortly after that I discovered a nail in my tire. These situations were alarming and made me feel uneasy. There was also an incident where I realized a car that had followed me from the grocery store pulled into the complex and parked next to me before turning around and leaving. That experience was unsettling and added to my concerns about security on the property. It appears that parking and residency are not closely monitored, and it feels like anyone can come into the complex and park without question. This lack of oversight makes it difficult to feel safe. Overall, between the unexpected or insufficiently explained fees and the repeated safety concerns, my experience here has been disappointing. If you are looking for a place with clear, transparent pricing and a strong sense of security, this may not be the right fit.

Don't trust the management

The complexo is good, apartments are ok and neighbors are nice. Just don't trust or expect anything from management. Ivan in the office will try to help you out in everything he can but management won't help whatsoever. Don't trust their third party for payments because they'll always blame on you. Summarizing, the complex is nice but management will faill you if you ever need them.. At least in my experience.

The place is beautiful. Cabinets arent flimsy, countertops are pretty. I'm a designer and usually barf at the design of apartments, they have no taste. Even the most expensive apartments i cant find anything nice to say. but here i like how the designers made the look cohesive. i saw white shaker cabinets (yes white shaker is common but these werent CHEAP shaker) with silver hardware (hardware was nice, not ugly or outdated), and the countertops blended in with the rest of the design. The vinyl flooring color also compliments the kitchen and rest of home. So whoever they hired to design/renovate the apartments, they had taste, and put thought into it. Very pretty apartments from the inside out. Front office staff is really nice and helpful.

Love the security in the complex, though we get some unruly neighbors sometimes in my block. Please add recycling bins and that will help the big dumpsters from breaking down all the time and add an entrance gate system through phone access or FOB key plus garden security lights for the ambiance. It took 4 months to get a new kitchen faucet. Mine had no hot water when I moved and I was told it had been ordered. I asked multiple times for an update by stopping in or calling and not until I spoke to the manager in person was a call placed to order a replacement faucet when I had been told when I moved it had been ordered. I also advised the office when I moved in that it smelled like the previous renter had smoked. I requested an air purifier/oxidizer and followed up on that multiple times, eventually told they thought it was from the spices the previous tenant used but I also found 2 cigarette butts in the spaces between the boards on the balcony. To this day if I go out of town and come back after a few days it again smells like smoke. Wall patching in the bathroom especially is very noticeable and sloppy. One of the main reasons I chose this complex was because each unit had a washer and dryer, confirmed by the person who gave me a tour. Not until the day I moved in was I informed that the contract had ended so my apartment would not have a washer and dryer. When I moved in there were no screens in my windows. I asked multiple times for this and was told they had to be ordered and were waiting on them to arrive. Eventually maintenance put in screens that only go up halfway on each window and again I was told they were going to pull the correct size in when they came in. I gave up on asking about them and I still have half screens. I live in building 11 and there is always a ton of piles of dog poop in the circle of grass where the round about it up here and the back part of the parking lot has liter all the time.

Excited to move in

Me and my kids drove to this apartment complex because we found it on We saw the pictures and price and requested a tour and we got approved for the tour. We went there and the person at the office as so kind and understanding and helped us understand everything about the apartment. We saw that it was clean, and we even met some people from our foreign country there and even though we were there for a day, we made some friends. They said that they have been living here for the past 4 years and loved it and this got both me and my kids excited that we found a good apartments for a low price after a lengthy search. Because of Ivan and the neighbors, me and my kids made our minds up and decided to move in. If anybody is already a renter of this place and sees this, just know you will have new neighbors soon :)

It's very good, it's just that sometimes some neighbors don't take the rules into account. The issue of vehicle speed and cleaning of stairs and common areas, sometimes they leave bags of food outside.

It is a nice community to live in. Normally, very quiet and clean. Neighbors are nice. The community is equipped with a gym and swimming pool. The community is also great for walking. It also has a dog park on premises for the dog lovers. Overall, a nice place to be.

As a place to live, I would recommend Atlanta Newton to my friends. It's nice and clean and a very quiet place to live. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. They even have Amazon lockers for your packages, a swimming pool and a weight room.
