It's been nothing short of aweful. Maintenance is slow, trash service is crappy, gates always broken, and some of the staff very rude. This has been the Worst apartment experience I've had. I would never recommend anyone to stay there.

Convenient to expressway, shopping, work. Need bigger trash area. Needs to have fence around. Trash piled up is an eye sore. Need to keep trash picked up at mail kiosk and have an outgoing mailbox . Other than this nice place to live

We moved here from the Bronx, NY and have lived here for a year and a half. We have been thoroughly happy with our experience. The community is beautiful, very well cared for, and the staff has been very attentive to anything that needed to be done. If we had any maintenance requests, they were fulfilled within a day or so. We would highly recommend this community.

I have lived in a few different complexes including one managed by the immediate neighbor. This is the best so far. Like everywhere else, it has opportunities. However, if this is the right location and within your budget, I highly recommend it.

I would never recommend Waterstone @ Big Creek to my friends or family. I believe that everything starts with upper management. When I place a call to corporate, I expect a return phone call or email. Still waiting....a month later. Don't waste your time trying to move here.

Community seems to be degrading. Previous property mgmnt team was much friendlier and accommodating to the residents. Common areas are not maintained well anymore. Ready to move when my lease is up. Way too expensive for what is offered

By far the Absolute worst experience I have in a apartment complex. Maintenance Nor management attended to my grandmother and I needs. We been out of a dryer for 3 months! The first time maintenance came out to look at the dryer I was told they will replace it which they did with another broken one. When I went to the office to talk to a manager no one was there but a leasing consultant .so I came back the next day to explain what exactly was going on. The property manager ms.freeman told me it will be "taking care of and there have been a few complaints about maintenance, which she would have a meeting and they come take care of me" about a week go by and maintenance arrive to dismantle the dryer, Which was left with the top of the dryer open expose to wires and screws which my 70 year old grandmother was stab by one! I went to the office once again to explain the same problem!also I showed pictures of the dryer to the assistant manager and property manager and also emailed the photos! The next day or two a different maintenance guy came to to take out the dryer which he said " I don't know what was the reason for him to take apart the dryer like this mans leave it". They swap out the dryer. The dryer they swap was also broken! The dryer would power on and over heat and shut off after about 10 mins! I once again went back to the office and they sent "someone who specialize in the Appliances" which he told me the dryer exhaust vent needs cleaning but it's on the outside so he would come back tomorrow. Never showed up, never got a call or anything! I wanted to renew my lease but the community definitely went down hill after new management arrived!

I lived here around 2014 for a year and had no issues. I move out and move back in with my wife in 2020 and this place is horrible. The trash is constantly overflowing, staff is rude, and maintenance take their sweet time to show up. You have a major issue with your apartment? No problem! They will take a month to show up to temporarily fix the problem. I would say more but I'm busy.

Overall, I am pretty happy here. I love the staff and maintenance are always quick to help and get the job done. I wish that those who reside here would help keep it clean, (ie. clean up after their dogs and not leave piles of trash out near the compactor when it's full). A lot of that is out of the complex's hands and they try to mitigate it as best as they can. I often hear my neighbors, but that is fairly common in apartment buildings and it is not unmanageable. I love my apartment, it has plenty of space, I wish there were better lighting or more windows, but due to the nature of the layout, this isn't a huge dealbreaker. The amenities are great, love the pool area and love how easy it is for me to walk over to Halcyon.

At first glance the community looks great, but there is a reason why it does not look as nice as the Venue Big Creek Apartments. Several outdated buildings, bed bugs, bugs in general, and they charge ridiculous fees for moving out/cleaning/pest etc

The apartment complex is very well maintained and clean. It's quite and very safe. Conveniently located right off Exit 12 of 400. Great shopping right next door with Halcyon. Easy complex to navigate.

There is commonly litter in the parking lots, walkways, and grassy areas. Landscaping is minimal- there are often overgrown weeds and grass that are visually unappealing. The trash compactor is either too small or not emptied often enough, because there has been overflow on numerous occasions. Management does not enforce many of the policies in your lease.

My experience has been positive for the most part. The grounds are not kept as clean as they've been in the past. The breezeways are pretty dirty most of the time. I have to broom the area outside my door and I didn't used to have to sweep the breezeway.

The community is great! We moved in February 2021 and the apartment was ready and move in was easy. We're in one of the remodeled one bed apartments and the finishes are amazing! We needed our AC and dryer fixed and maintenance was right out to help. I love that we get most packages to our door or otherwise in our mailbox. The neighbors are nice and polite. The complex is pet friendly and besides the occasional barking there's really been no issue with that. It's a beautiful, well maintained property inside and out!

The grounds and community is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Only issue with cleanliness is the issue of residents not cleaning up after their dogs. There have been several instances of us stepping in dog waste or residents leaving poop bags on the ground and not throwing them away. Our initial move-in was smooth and easy with Rosalyn, she was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We did have a few maintenance hiccups but they were prompt and helpful with getting things fixed. The unit we moved into is in excellent condition and looks brand new. The noise from the upstairs neighbors is a bit of a disappointment since we can hear their dog howling/barking and any walking or movement on the ceiling from their floor. I do think that residents should be reminded to not park in driveways that do not belong to them. We have had several instances of people parking in our driveway and leaving their cars or motorcycles there. The amenities here are in excellent condition and great that they are available for use so easily.

Community is good but cleanliness in hallway is major concern. Trash is out lying in hallway all the time. There is an abandoned trash can in front of my appartment in building 1200 from last 6 months. No one has bothered to remove it. Pls take care in this area.

Community has gone down. Trash and furniture left out near the trash bin which leaves the community looking disgusting. Breezeways are not clean with cigarette buds or any other trash residents leave.

The residents of this community are the worst part about this complex. They do not care about the community and what it looks like. They pile trash at the compactor rather than take 2 seconds to open the door and toss it in, they absolutely do not clean up after their pets and even have the audacity to sometimes bag it up and leave it on the ground. More trash cans need to be placed around and MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING or it is only going to get worse.

I have lived here for 2 years going on 3 years whereby unhappy living started the day I moved in. I can't afford to move twice in 1 month when your electrical kitchen appliances blow the main breaker every time you turn them on. Countless times I put in a request to get the burners fixed and I was told it was fixed and its my problem I don't know how to use my stove. The dish washer is held into place with two tiny screws that fell out two months after moving in. I use a dish washer that teeters back and forth when I pull out the racks. In addition, the neighbor below, their fan in the master bedroom makes a very loud buzzing noise when in use! To the point of keeping me awake at all hours of the night. I requested the fan be fixed September, 2020 however, it did not get fixed. Fast forward to April 2021 with new management in place you would think things would get better, think again… I requested again for assistance and management mentioned it would be fixed by the following week at which I asked the MANAGER how come it hasn't been replaced and was told she HOPES it will get fixed the next day, nope it did not happen, still a month has gone by and nothing! Loss of sleep is not considered high priority and they will get to it when they can. I am currently sleeping on my single person recliner for the last couple of months. The trash receptacle for the complex is ALWAY full and you can never throw your trash away other than outside the door of the receptacle. I pay the $30 but never use the trash service because twice my trash has been turned over and was charged a fine, knowing full well it was not like that when I left it out for pickup. People smoke tobacco and pot on their balconies and nothing is done about it other than a letter sent out to all residents... which doesn't solve the problem. The rent is increasing way to high for the lack of maintenance services and lack of customer service this place provides. I encourage you to look elsewhere.
