Overall, Monroe Place is fine. The location is good, and I like my apartment overall. While my interactions with the property staff are limited, they are unfortunately all negative. My apartment flooded when the fire sprinkler company busted a pipe in the attic, and the lack of support or solutions-oriented service that I received was just completely unacceptable. I had to go to a hotel and pay out of pocket for it, and Lynette, the building manager, told me in writing that she would credit my account for the expense. Low and behold, she never did. When I challenged this, I was told that she would no longer communicate with me verbally, and I would need to put any questions or concerns in writing. It was incredibly unprofessional, terrible experience by a terrible property manager. In addition to that experience, I have constant issues with the package delivery service that we are forced to use and pay for (Fetch), as well as the valet trash service that we are forced to pay for, and inconveniently for everyone they don't pick up on the weekends (when most of us have the time to catch up on chores). It has been an overall disappointing experience with Monroe Place, and I would not caution anyone from calling them home.

The current leasing office admins are in general less helpful and are too fake. I have had bad experiences with this one lady being downright rude. I also absolutely hate that I'm forced to pay for fetch. With all their rules about addresses which a lot of websites don't even allow. I have had packages stolen and if I try to get any important documents delivered to my actual address, I have to make sure it's held at the FedEx/UPS facility or they will just send things back. These apartments don't even have any real facilities that I could use. The rent is not cheap. I really am not a fan anymore. The restaurant across the street have karaoke Wednesday night and you can even sleep in peace. And the admin don't want to do anything about it. I am pretty dissatisfied

Well run leasing office and extremely well run maintenance department. In the 8 years I've lived here, they've addressed 80%+ of maintenance requests on the same day and 95%+ within 1 day. Location wise, it's incredible convenient to be within walking distance of 3 Sprouts, Kroger, and Publix.

Parking kinda sucks but maintenance team is fast and friendly. Community was clean and units are decent. Overall, I would not recommend this community to anyone as the manager of the rental office refused to work with me (a federal employee) who was temporarily furloughed during the government shut down of 2025 with written documentation from federal employer guaranteeing my return to work and lump sum payment for missed time upon government reopening. Office manager told me that she will still charge all late fees totaling over $400 and EVICT me if I did not pay November's rent by 11/2/2025. I was forced to give up my apartment voluntarily to avoid an eviction on my credit preventing me from finding a place to live in the future; and as a result and the same office manager with not one ounce of empathy or remorse for making someone unnecessarily homeless asked me for $6000 during our last interaction. The apartment was rented one month later after being left almost new and she has escalated and filed collections for over $5000 against me causing extremely financial hardship and mental distress. This community management cares nothing about its tenants even if you are long term, always pays timely, and never caused problems.

I really like the complex, very quiet and clean. The trash guy does not come sometimes and the gym could DEFINITELY use some upgrades. However, it is a wonderful place to live. The maintenance crew gets to things pretty quickly, and the staff is very professional and kind.

Best decision I made was to move to Monroe Place. Staff is amazing. Professional, caring, and attentive. They care about the residence and interact with activities all the time. The amenities and services are the best I have experienced.

Quallity all around has declined while rate continue to increase. Services are randomly put into play that aren't really needed and we have no option to opt-out. Trash Removal was one of the worst examples of this leaving dragged streaks of garbage juice in breezeways and walking paths. Fetch is second. Grounds were recently landscaped removing most of the beautiful trees around the property that first attracted us. Those are well maintained but breeze ways go untouched until complaining to office about trash thrown around which goes back to the quaulity mentioned.

My overall experience has been satisfactory. Maintenance requests have been promptly responded too. This typically is the most contact I have with my office. My biggest and only gripe is with the use of third party forwarding for packages. Many of my items have been damaged or lost by Fetch. To the point where I had to file and take them to arbitration. The service isn't good to use since they only cover issues with packages up to $500. If you have an item over this amount and it is lost or damaged, you're basically out of luck. The process to dispute is all via email with no one to speak to. Very inefficient and allows them to ignore issues. Hence why I took them to arbitration for my items that they refused to respond to my claim. This process also causes issues when people try and send you gifts and aren't aware you need a separate address to get your items. Inconvenient all around. At Monroe Place, we need to change this or add a package room.

Some leasing staff turnover, a few crime related incidents, unwanted behavior from a neighbor, issues with the homeless getting inside the facility, gym equipment somewhat adequate, events not well attended until recently.

Monroe Place is a great place to live. Wonderful neighbors and a good-sized dog park make it home. The maintenance staff is quick to respond to any requests for service. Requests submitted to the leasing office are much slow and tend not to be completed.

I recently moved into this new home, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with the space. The interior is spacious and well-divided, which makes it feel both open and functional. It's great for organizing different living areas without feeling cramped. The exterior is also convenient, especially with a parking lot located directly in front of the house, offering easy access and reducing the hassle of carrying things from a distance. Another significant advantage is that the location is at a reasonable distance from my office, not too far, not too close, making daily commutes very manageable. The only minor downside I've noticed so far is that the parking lines are quite faded, which makes it a bit tricky to park correctly, especially at night. If the lines were repainted, it would significantly improve the parking experience. Overall, though, I'm happy with the move and the home's layout and location.

So far I don't like the unnecessary fees. From the service fee, package delivery fee and trash valet. I think those fees aren't necessary as most of those things we can do on our own or at least give us the option to opt out of it.

Used to be great but has gone (and continues to go) downhill. I've lived here for many years and in the past year or so the maintenance team has gotten bad, the office staff is hostile to residents, and management and ownership doesn't care. They'll happily charge you extra for reserved parking and then do absolutely nothing when someone parks in your space. The leasing agent actively prevents you from talking to the manager, going so far as to yell at residents (there are 20+ who have experienced this). There's a hole in my bathroom sink from where they installed the faucet wrong, and they didn't even respond to my complaint about it. As a result water leaks down into the cabinet, which I'm sure they'll try and charge me for. They recently replaced the water meters and the plumbers left a muddy mess in my apartment, including ruining a rug, and again management didn't care. They spent a lot of money on landscaping, and then don't maintain it. While the community is conveniently located for me, I'm sure there are other nearby complexes that would actually value a long-term resident.

Well, the summer season is almost upon us, so I am looking forward to seeing members of the community. Still getting used to life on the third floor walk-up but I figure my legs and calves will be in very good shape soon.

It's just been wonderful I can't tell you how kind of staff is and how maintenance men and women are my fire alarm went off one night and the maintenance man named Floyd came in the middle of the night like 3:00 in the morning and he turned it off! I love living here!

I moved to Monroe Place Apartments in October 2019. My first 3 years was amazing. Them the management team was changed and became a nightmare for me and my family and for another tenants that we became a friends. I have a dog and the dog park here smells horrible and there's no action at all for the manager on site. The manager stays in the office all day doing nothing and she barely know our names. The events that they doing every month we never go because not even me and my family thinks but the other tenants think too that they are just worry about the money. This will be my last year here for sure. Some tenants doesn't follow the rules and i keep sending emails every week to the manger on site and she never takes any action. I definitely not recommend this place to live. Horrible experience.

So far so good. Zero complaints. I've called maintenance twice, this is my 2nd year. Complex is small. Maintenance team works effectively & ladies in the rent office are always welcoming. The grounds are well maintained. They are up to code with fire extinguishers in the units. Filters are changed often.

My apartment is in a great location. The price is great, and anytime I need maintenance it is done quickly. The landscaping is well kept and the staff is friendly. I live on a top floor and have no noise from neighbors.

I'm pretty new, but it's been nice so far. The maintenance guy is really nice and very proactive. It's occasionally a tad noisy, but not often. For a place so close to the highway it's pretty quiet. I can walk to the grocery store if I want to. It's also close to a MARTA station, but it's also quite close to the Lindbergh Transit Station if you need another bus or the train. No issues with trash or dirtiness.

Please upgrade the gate. It goes down every time it rains and they just keep patching it. Additionally the key pad to the visitor side doesn't work from time to time. The window sensors don't work either so I don't know why they gave them out.

the exterior lights still make it impossible for me to keep the blinds on in my apt at night or even sit on the balcony , they are BLINDING into my apartment. They don't need to be nearly as bright. I wish they would lower the brightness again even though they did one time. It is still SOOO BRIGHT.
