What a nice place!
I really love my home! I have been living here for some time now and have always loved it! Huge closet space, beautiful kitchen, and great neighbors. I also feel really safe living here and I live right by the entrance. The pool is very nice with too big grills. I would highly recomend Monroe Place to any ages or family situation. It is a very diverse community.

This place has been great.
I moved here two years ago and have not had any problems. Maintenance is always quick to fix things, I've never had any problems with neighbors. The people in the office know everyone by name and are always pleasant and helpful. In other apartment complexes in the past I've had all kinds of problems, so I heartily recommend this one.

DO NOT LIVE HERE
My car, along with 10 other cars got broken into at Monroe Place. The staff was awful about the whole situation. They wouldn't answer any of my questions about what happened and they actually avoided all of us because they didn't want to have to pay. Overall, it made me disgusted with this aparment complex and so I moved. Don't live here, save yourself the trouble. Also its overpriced!

The staff are friendly and efficient and it's so close to everything. I didn't have time to view the apartment before moving and I was happy to find it's just as advertised. I would highly recommend Monroe Place as a place to call home.

Great price for midtown!
I have lived at Monroe Place for nearly a year. I really don't have too many complaints. As far as apartment complexes go, it is very well priced for Atlanta. It is in a very convenient location. The staff at the leasing office is very helpful and listens to your concerns. They have been busy with upgrades and these new features have really improved the property. I would definitely recommend checking this spot out if you are looking for a new place to call home.

Great complex
I just moved out of MP apartments to Ohio. I really enjoyed my year-long stay! Rent was a little too pricey for me, but location was great and I felt very safe in my apartment as a young woman living alone. The staff and neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. The community was always updating something, which caused rent to go up, but they are doing a great job keeping everything up to date. I had one incident where a male followed me around the complex one dark, early morning while I was walking my dog. I got back into my apartment and called the police and they were there within a few minutes--other than that, I had no other safety issues or problems. I think a few policemen live in the complex. Every day I saw their motorcycles in the parking deck. That made me feel safe, and there seemed to always be someone out walking their dog at all hours of the night which also made me feel more comfortable. Overall, a great complex!

Best place I've ever lived!!! Don't believe smear campaign
Wow an obvious smear campaign by MP s competitor is happening here with these negative posts, they are obviously not from anyone who lives here. I moved in several months ago and love it best place I ve ever lived. I m blown away with how friendly everyone is, how clean and well maintained the property is and if I have a problem I call the office and they fix it. What else can you ask and you are close to everything!

Get Renters Insurance
Unfortunately there is a crime problem at this establishment. I've lived here for a year now and it's been ok, but 3-4 places have been broken into within the last week. All break-ins have taken place in broad daylight around lunchtime. Would be a much better place if security were more than just cameras on the front gate. :(

New Tenant at Monroe Place and couldn't be happier!
I just relocated back to Atlanta from Asheville, NC due to a work transfer. I haven't lived in midtown in 8 years and was very eager to find just the right place! I looked at several different properties, a few rental homes and a few privately owned condos. I even polled several friends who have rented all over midtown. Most had the same answer...Monroe Place. You cannot beat the location, the cost is reasonable and the grounds are impeccable. Once I figured out where I wanted to live, I had a short amount of time to make it happen. The staff worked with me to get it done, making my life much easier especially since I lived two states away at the time. I have been here for two months now and I know that I made the right decision by moving to Monroe Place. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to live in midtown.

Maintenance Support - Awesome!
Over the Indepdence Day holiday weekend I experienced issues with my air conditioning and thought "great I bet nothing will be done till Tuesday". I made the call anyway and chose the emergency request voice mail. I was quite pleased when not only was I called back immediately but air was flowing again in my apt in less than 45 minutes! Hours later when I was getting ready to call in a night I saw the maintenance man again as he made another run through to make sure all was good and I still had the nice cool air flowing in my apt. I really want to commend him for being prompt and available to the resident needs but also for following back up later that evening.

Monroe Place
I have lived at Monroe Place for over a year now and it is wonderful. The staff are great. They make sure all your repairs are done immediately and they are always so friendly. I love the environment at Monroe Place. Lots of dog people and everyone knows everyone so you feel safe. I am a single woman and I have never felt worried about my safety no matter the time of day. We just got new landscaping that looks wonderful and they are redoing our workout room which I can wait to see. I would and have recommended Monroe Place to anyone looking for a great place to live in Midtown. I love it here and you will too.

Great Location
I didn't realize it at the time, but this place is a great location! Less than 10 minutes from Buckhead, and about 10 minutes from downtown. Also, if you work in the Perimeter area, it takes about 20 minutes, and you have a reverse commute (going against traffic). There is plenty of shopping right down the street, great restaurants, and is a growing area. No crime concerns. A few blocks away from a MARTA station. Also, great response and service from staff. Clean units. No problems whatsoever.

A great place to call home... if you dont expect much for your money!
I have lived at Monroe Place for almost a year and it has been a great place to call home thus far. The best I can say is Location location location! I get to work and into downtown in under 10 minutes and almost everything I need is within 15 minutes. There are plenty of alternatives to avoid the traffic congestions. Most of the neighbors in my building are cool we all speak and mind our own business! I have had no problem with parking... crime or noise! But I too would agree that the water bills here are a bit crazy at times. Will I renew my lease? Probably not unless they offer me a very good incentive to renew, because for what I am paying I would expect better amenities like at least black appliances upgrade and a business center or game room. But again it has been a great place to call home being that I don t expect from them!

raping us with water
I actually love living at Monroe Place. Other than my loud neighbors, I have never had an issue. It is otherwise pretty quiet around here. My only issue with the apartment is the water bill. I have never lived somewhere before where my water bill has been over 50 dollars. Eavery month I receive my water bill and want to cry when I open it. It is more than my power bill. It is always over 80 dollars. This month it was 100 dollars and I was not even home for a week. I talked to a friend who is a property manager at another apartment complex and they said that monroe place gets a profit on it and that is wy it is so high. He said it is hard to prove but it is illegal. This bill is rediculous!!!!!!!!! The new manager Lee needs to do something about this. It is not right!!!!!

So far so good!
We moved in only 2 weeks ago and it's been smooth sailing so far. MP was one of the very first places we saw on our search for a new place, and definitely set the bar very high. All the other we saw were too small, had carpet, too high, too unfriendly, not safe looking, etc. One of the main reasons was the customer service we received, extremely friendly and down to earth Adam is a joy to do business with. He ALWAYS answers to my requests or general info questions. Our apt is wonderful! Clean, lots of sunshine, pool view balcony, GREAT deal! My commute is going north on 400 and it's very easy and accesible, as is going in any other direction, everything is RIGHT there. The pet areas are very convenient, I have 2 dogs and we enjoy long walks around the complex, there is plenty of green everywhere and we always run into other friendly parent/pet couples. :) Also, MP staff has been very understanding regarding my pets' adjustment to their new home (thank you!). Grocery shopping, movies, banking, shopping, dining, bowling, drinking, Piedmont Park...all are no more than 5 minutes away. To be fair, I need to point out the slightly negative. It may be just me, but I haven't seen the security officer around. And although the maintenance guy has been very helpful, I'm not that comfortable with him coming into the apt when I'm not there; but this may be standard apt community policy that I'm not used to. Overall, we LOVE the place! And just can't wait for the spring to come!!

Home Sweet Home
After living at Monroe Place for almost 7 years I am so excited to see the change happening! The new property manager is a breath of fresh air! As a resident I can tell that the staff are actively working to make sure this property is a great one! With monthly events and a new newsletter the staff truly cares about this property. The location is amazing and you can't beat the rates!

Enjoy my home
I moved into Monroe Place about 4 years ago at the referal of my boss, a former resident. I am so glad I picked this place and have really enjoyed it. The location is great; very easy access to my job in Dunwoody and just minutes from downtown where most of my friends live. My apartment has been great and I haven't had many maintenance issues, but when I did Debra sent them the same day to fix it for me. They have a gate and alarm systems (for free) which makes me feel safe since I'm single and living alone. My neighbors are nice too, that really makes a difference! If you want to get out of the suburbs I suggest checking out Monroe Place for a nice affordable alternative.

A Great Deal!
I have lived hear for 1.5years. The staff have always been pleasant to me. I moved here for the excellent school district and the less then 10 minute work commute. I am close to everything! As a woman, I feel very safe, I just stay aware that I am in a city. Every apartment I have ever lived in has issued warnings about car thefts/car break-ins. You have a security system in your apartment and I would be surprised if I heard of any personal violence. I love the high ceilings in my studio. I also have carpet which eliminates a lot of sound issues. I do hear people passing in the breezeway if my apartment is quiet. While everything is not super modern, it is not old. Generally the value is the standout factor for me. I do like the people I have met and have some excellent neighbors. They are pet friendly and there are several parks relatively close by. I looked at this site before moving here, so I only tell you I like it here because I do. I would definitely tell anyone but a hard partyer/social diva to move here.:)

Great Midtown Living
I recently moved to Monroe Place after seeing many of my friends enjoying their apartments here. Most have lived in Monroe Place for a few years now. I have always loved how big the apartments are for the price. The apartments and grounds are kept in good shape and the office personnel are very professional. I also have 2 dogs and the property is big enough that I can walk them without having to leave the property which is nice. Also, I have met many of my neighbors walking my dogs. Everyone seems to be so friendly here. It's a very nice community.

The Best Place in Atlanta to Live!
I moved into Monroe Place almost four years ago, and I absolutely love it. The community is amazing. It's centrally located, with easy access to the highway. During warm months the pool is always festive, and becomes the central meeting place for all the neighbors to gather. Management is top notch, and quickly takes care of any maintenance issues that I have had. And you can't beat the price for the location!!!
