Need to fix the parking. You need to either make sure people park between the lines or you need to make the spaces wider. There's a guest parked right in the middle of 2 spots and the motorcycle that doesn't have to be parked in a garage. Just certain rules for certain residents?

the staff have always responded to requests and questions in a prompt manner. All of my surrounding neighbors are quiet people, I have always felt safe here. I would continue to live here if I didn't have to relocate. I would recommend this place to friends.its a great place to live

It's been both good And bad. Parking could be better less restrictions on the ability to enjoy our selves being able to grill. There's just to many useless rules it's annoying. Makes me regret renewing my lease

A ten-year-old complex but very nice condition. Spacious rooms and baths, but kitchen and laundry are very small. Maintenance/ground crews work hard to maintain the property and it is kept very attractive. Overall a decent place to live.

It is a gated community and the people there are very nice. I like that is very quiet. As far as I know the crime rate there is "not". I have never heard of a major problem at the complex. Thatis what made my decision to move in that area and the fact that town is just below you. If you want to walk, you can. It just seems like a good area to live.

This community is a very safe and friendly community right off I-75. The town is quiet but there is Target, Publix, Chilis, Cici's Pizza and a whole lot more within walking distance. It has a gated entrance and the staff is very nice and friendly.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are well maintained and landscaped nicely. Lots of amenities including tennis courts, pool, and small fitness center. Great location near shopping and restaurants. Very quiet for apartment living, which is so nice!!!

My experience here has been very positive. Office staff has been Very supportive easy step of the way since my move in December 2015. I am recently divorced and was a nervous wreck. They answered all My questions and called several times after moving in to see how things were going. Grounds are very well maintained and service requests are handled promptly.

Extremely nice property with very friendly, professional staff. One major drawback, soundproofing of units leaves much to be desired. Construction is so that noise from neighbors is quite noticeable. All in all, property is by far the best in area. Very convenient to I-75.

I enjoy living here. My family and I feel safe and valued here. The neighbors are friendly and courteous. We have no issues with noise, etc. The apartments are clean and pest free. They really do a great job with up keep. The office staff and maintenance staff are wonderful and very helpful

Expensive to say the least. The monthly rental rate is high enough. But the unwritten charges are crazy. $150-250 a month for these extras. They charge for complex fees like grounds, irrigation, and water at carwash(which you pay for both when you wash and end of month grounds fee), and trash service. The water sewer bill will be between $30 and $94. Craziness! No check and balance. If office says you owe, then you pay it. Power bill on third floor was $250-400. The apartments are all ducted wrong so you pay for it...every month. The windows sweat water and causes mold. If you have respiratory issues,......plan on being sick the duration of your stay. They also started. Charging a usage deposit fee for using the tennis court. It's a tennis court for gods sake! The quiet hours are 10p-10am. But if the office staff does not like you, they will shut down any outdoor activities as early as 8pm On a Fri or Sat night. The office staff is two faced. They will tell you its economical to live there but your rent will go up as much as $110 a year and your neighbors rent (which is a favored by the mgr) may not go up at all. And when you move out prepare to pay $1000 for mold damage and new carpet. There are much better options out there. Find them! Not even gonna mention drugs. Be aware tho.

Great community and a pleasant place to live. HOWEVER, they will nickel and dime you to death with fees. We terminated our lease three months early because we purchased a home and they ended up charging us over $1,200 for early termination. We always paid our rent on time but they are unforgiving. Make sure to READ all the fine print. They go through the paperwork very fast when you're moving in and purposely skim over important sections such as termination fees. i.e. $400 turn key fee 1/4 of remaining rent due throughout term of lease, or other criteria, whichever is less Forget about getting your $200 deposit back Extra post cleaning fees.. In all, I would recommend living here but the office staff isn't the friendliest and they will try to get every dime out of you. Just read through everything and don't buy a home or move for work because they won't care.

Horrible Horrible Experience. I haven't lived there in 5 Years and they have contacted me a few weeks ago saying that I owe them 940$. ----- in the front office is extremely difficult to deal with and does not stick to her words. The office does not have it together and seem a little clueless. I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

There are no negative comments to make. We are well into our second year at Avonlea. The entire experience has been easy and carefree. The prompt service, while rarely needed, is always friendly and efficient. The landscaping and maintenance of the common areas is always topnotch. I really appreciate the way you work to enforce the clean up of pet waste. Thanks so much.

I normally do not write reviews but had to make an exception here so others in the area would know what a great place this is to rent. I lived at Avonlea for 5 years before moving out of state and loved it. Pros: The apartments are clean and very well maintained, grounds are very well kept, the pool area is awesome, nice tennis court and workout facility. The location was great, very convenient to I75, restaurants, town and hiking at Pine Mountain. It is a gated facility so it's very secure. Miss Cathy, the property manager there is awesome, professional, polite, helpful, caring and always had great events planned for the kiddos and adults alike. Her door was always open if you just wanted to chat. She even listened to some of my family issues and gave my granddaughters special attention when they visited and I am forever grateful for that. She made sure the residents got balloons on their birthdays and checked on the sick and elderly. She is top notch and they are lucky to have her as a property manager! The maintenance staff there is knowledgeable and are always prompt to make repairs when needed. Cons: Although very well maintained the apartments could use a few upgrades such as lighting and plumbing fixtures, and better dishwashers. I would recommend Avonlea if you are looking to rent in that area.

Everything is great. Grounds are pretty and maintained. The office staff are very sweet and treat me like family. Just the other day they called just to check on me during the coronavirus just to see if there was anything I needed.

Love living at these apartments! Cathy, Angie, Darlene, and Bert are very professional and any requests are addressed very expeditiously. Grounds are clean and I feel very safe living here. Love the nets for the apartment residents! Would highly recommend to a friend!

Very nice place to stay. Everyone is friendly and caring of one another. The staff is wonderful. Great adult community. Adult gatherings are wonderful and fun. Great activities every month. We feel very safe. Convenient to everything on the main road is a plus.

Avonlea apartments are truly the best in town. We've lived here for over seven years, moving to a larger apartment as our family grew. The grounds and apartments are beautiful, and located a stone's throw from many stores and restaurants. Our kids attend the city schools, which are wonderful. But I think the best part about living here is the staff, who are always friendly and do all they can to address concerns promptly. Highly recommended!

Love it! Safe, Clean, Quiet! So glad we chose to live here, as we are in a transitional period, and would highly recommend it to anyone of our friends and family. Kids love it too, very kid and pet friendly, which is always a nice thing to have in a home!

Avonlea Highlands is a great place to live. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The buildings are in great shape as well. The staff here are welcoming and responsive to all requests. The ammenties are top notch and very nice. I have really enjoyed living here.

Every one can't do enough to help you. Wonderful tenants, safe security. All around clean complex. It is a pleasure to live here. Will continue as long as I can afford it since I am retired. If I am out in the evening I think nothing of coming home in the dark.

Recently moved, work took me away, from Avonlea and I highly recommend this community. I was there for 2 years and never had any major issues. The small couple of issues I did have were taken care of the same day. The office staff are very friendly, professional, helpful and the maintenance staff as well. It is in a great location in Cartersville, close to interstate 75, hiking trails, restaurants and Lake Allatoona. If work ever brings me back that way I will be living there again.

first few years were awesome. Last couple of years not so good. Lots of mgnt/employee Drama. Favoritism and targeting. . Not acting on our complaints and mgnt getting involved w/ tenant tho married. high emp turnover & RENT INCREASES yrly.
