This was a place where you felt attention was made to your security but that has been on the decline over the years. There has been several break ins to cars over the past few years. Also taking care of the grounds or cleanup has declined. Tenets who have dog are not cleaning up and concerned.

    Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry for what you have experienced, as this is not the normal. We just had a brand new courtesy officer (who is a Cartersville police officer) move in this past month. He truly cares about this community and had already made such a positive difference. Due to COVID, we've been short staffed for quite some time. We are now almost fully staffed and our new groundskeeper will soon be ensuring that the Avonlea grounds are a beautiful place for you to be proud of. If you happen to see a resident not picking up after their pet, please call the office as we will ensure it does not repeat.     The move in was Easy & pleasant. Everyone was so accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to friends. The area seems very safe and the grounds are beautiful. My neighbors are friendly too.

      I move here after I retired from teaching. I have enjoyed living here and have always felt safe. Made many friends and acquaintances . It has increased in price quite a bit! Not sure how long I can afford to stay here on a fixed income but we shall see what the future holds .

        The apartments could be cleaned up a little they are renovated but poorly. Slap paint on, broken windows, different outlet covers takes away from the overall general optics of being a nice place. There are several nice things like great water pressure, a pristine looking grounds and nice amenities. The new staff have some great plans and ideas on community involvement and so far has been enjoyable and fun.

          The apartments are nice, gated community, pool and tennis court. Good community to live in, there are events organized by the administrative personnel quite often. Location is good if you want to live in Cartersville.

            I love this community, by far my best rental experience!!!! I would definitely recommend this community to family and friends. I definitely love the upgrades of the appliances as well as the light fixtures and trim work.

              This is such a nice, safe, clean place to live and I enjoy it so much. I only wish it was more affordable for a one bedroom apartment for the square footage you're getting. I am single and live off of one income so the rent can be quite a lot for me.

                it is very quiet and safe. Front office cares and listens. Maintance is on top of their game. I would recommend to anybody moving to the area. We go to bed early and no noise any where around us. So nice to have found are retirement home

                  Probably the nicest complex in Cartersville. But the buildings and their finishes are aged and rent is unreasonably high for what is offered. I have visited other Avonlea complexes in the area and they are much nicer and maintained better.

                    Property grounds are well kept. The community feels very safe and Neighbors are quiet. They always have resident events happening and are quick to respond to maintenance requests. The only issue we had was the communication before move in- application and documentation were sent months in advance and took awhile for managers approval too close to move in date. Other than that, location is great. I love it here!

                      When we first moved in we were thrilled with the apartment and the community as a whole. Since we have lived here the community has gone down hill. More so in terms of the service provided my the office. They did not promptly respond to any requests we had and they have lost all of our trust because they forged a signed document without our consent. This is unacceptable and we are so happy to be leaving. It's unfortunate that things ended this way. I blame the new staff at the office.

                            The apartments are nicely updated with granite and stainless steel. The gate code for visitors goes by last name which can be tricky for deliveries if they don't have your name. Most complexes give you your own code to give drivers for the call box.

                              By far the most expensive spot in Cartersville. The apartments are clean and that's about it. The pool is just OK, the workout machines are always broken, the security gate is stuck open half the time, and the admins can't figure out how to time rent and utilities in the online portal. Also, on the way out they made up an additional $600 in charges. All things considered, I'd probably live somewhere else.

                                Very nice apartments. The facility is well run and the staff are very polite and responsive. The complex is clean, well designed and well maintained. The amenities are also very nice. Overall very, very nice.

                                    We love living here!! The staff is super nice. The maintenance people are prompt in helping us with our problems. The neighbors are great - the sense of community is a huge part of why we love living here! Already have made some great friends. Only thing missing is a dog park so that our doggies can make friends too!

As you may be aware, we have recently added several new amenities in the last year. We have upgraded our pool to a salt water pool, added a lounging area with an outdoor TV, added a grilling area at the pool, and added a fire pit.                                           The amenities are good however the cost significantly exceeds reasonable. Service is ok. Apartments are noisy between floors and rooms. I find the minimum characters requirement irritating. I am just writing words now.

                                              Make sure you you have the front office staff initial and date every document you provide to them. They will lose track of it and pin it on you. Office staff is terrible, apartment location and appearance is awesome.

                                                  The entire staff treats me like family! My maintenance requests are handled quickly and effeciently and the grounds and buildings are well maintained. A great place to live! i would recommend this complex to everyone!
