I enjoy living at Avonlea. Really like the location, upgrades and great staff. Of all the apartments in the surrounding areas Avonlea Highlands has been a very good home for me at this season of my life.

First of all, location is very good. It's close to I-75 and easy access to grocery stores. I like the apartment management to have community event such as pool party, free donuts, food trucks, and etc.

The entire management of this community has significantly improved over the last 3 years. I want to highlight 2 examples: a) pool area WAS in poor maintenance condition, b) 2020 management did not give me a copy of the renewal contract. That is resolved now. Many thanks!

I understand people like the idea of safety - but you should either get rid of the gates or make them easier to use. Half the time if I'm trying to let someone in, a resident is coming in and it cancels their entry and they have to call me again. It's hard to get people in and the gate doesn't work half the time anyway. We've been held up at the gate because it hadn't worked and staff just said they couldn't let us in until maintenance got it. That's ridiculous. The fact that our neighbor has a smaller apartment and pays more than we do speaks volumes to rent and how it works with people who stay. Staff sends out emails late in the day about things that affect how other people have to leave their apartment. The last few times they've done filter changes I was told the day before and had no time to plan around my pets. I can't leave a dog in a room or a crate for 8+ hours that's inhumane. GIVE PEOPLE MORE TIME TO PLAN. I have no issue rearranging my day or making plans to have my pets taken care of so maintenance can do what they need to do, but it's inexcusable to give people less than 12 hours notice that you'll be in their apartment. Honestly this place wouldn't be so bad if office staff was better. They've ignored my calls or not given me sufficient information, and they've given me different answers to the same inquiries. They're completely unorganized. We need more of a direct line to someone who can actually listen and be helpful, that of which I've never felt while living here.

I love living here. It is very clean and well maintained. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking. It's pet-friendly. The location is very close to I75 and lots of shopping and restaurants.

I haven't been able to experience the community to the fullest just yet. I just moved in and i think I'm going to enjoy the community. I love that everyone knows each other and the amenities are great!!

It's was ok but the parking bad and drug use on the increase in the last year. Rate bit high and increase little to fast. I just wish larger dog owners pick their dog ----. Activities in the community is great.

There are extra charges on the monthly billing that need to be discussed before a lease is signed water,trash, sewer and administration fees. Advertisement states gated community but the gate is always broke

So far it has been great. Quiet neighborhood with ideal location. Exactly what I was looking for for my current situation. Just close enough to work in Atlanta, but not have to pay the prices Atlanta brings.

Great office staff. Rent is to much for what amenities are offered. It is convenient to interstate and local restaurants. Security gate does not work almost as often as it does work. Pool area is nice.

We are so glad we moved to this community. The grounds are always clean and manicured. Maintenance requests are responded to and fixed very quickly. The location is great, close to any shopping you need.

I love the community. The place is beautiful the grounds are all well kept. The biggest complaint is the lack of available parking spaces. The complex as a whole does events for its residents and the events are well thought out and show they care about their residents.

The apartment staff is so incredibly nice and helpful. I have had a couple of issues inside the apartment that needed fixing and they were very prompt about sending maintenance within a timely manner. The apartment is the best in the area but still within a good price range that is affordable. It's close to I-75 and right down the road from major food and shopping places so it's in a great location. They often have community events like bingo, pool parties for residents, and they even bring in food trucks if you don't feel like cooking. Highly recommend for the location and the staff.

It was nice until we have to constantly deal with the broken security gate to get into the apartment complex and it doesn't keep our complex safe and there is no other security. Many vehicles have been broken into over the 2.5 years we have lived here. Also every year our rent goes up and it's the exact same service and broken gate.

Love this apartment complex. Great people and very well kept. Great pool experience. Nice and friendly staff. For the money you pay to rent landscaping could be much better and grounds kept up better.

Overall I have had a very positive experience at Avonlea Highlands. The apartments are all updated and are similar quality to apartments going for $200-$300 dollars more per month in other areas. When I have placed service requests they have been taken care of in less than 24 hours. There is always ample parking available no matter what time of day. The staff in the office is wonderful and I have had no issues with communication with them. I would definitely recommend living here!

Avonlea management has shown a commitment to maintaining, and upgrading, their apartment community. The grounds are well-maintained, and responsiveness to apartment problems is timely. In addition to the park-like setting, the facility provides a high level of personal and physical security.

Avonlea Highlands is literally the best apartment complex community I've ever lived in. The property is always clean and landscaped. The staff is friendly and helpful. The maintenance requests are always handled promptly and professionally, and the website portal makes it extremely easy to pay rent and submit maintenance requests. The community is very quiet and feels safe. I'd highly recommend.

This apartment community is the best in Cartersville, Georgia! It is well taken care of and safe. The apartments have been renovated and are newly painted with new carpet. All of the appliances work well and are maintenance on a regular basis. I highly recommend Avonlea.

Overall, it's a great place to live. However, I don't like the fact the gate is always malfunctioning. We pay for this added security but how can you feel safe in a "gated" community if it's open access to the public.

I have enjoyed living here and have found it to be very well maintained except for gates being broken very frequently. This has only seemed to be a problem for the past 3-4 years. We really enjoy our Cares Team and the activities they have for us.
