For the most part my experience has been good. We have had some issues with other people and their dogs off leash. We have also had an issue with a downstairs neighbor and his surround sound system. The apartments inside are very nice and are the best in the city of Cartersville.

Nice quiet and secure community. Very small laundry facility. Apartments are a bit outdated.I'm not happy with a yearly rent increase that does not include interior upgrades. I have heard from previous tenants that this was their main reason for leaving and going to an upgraded apartment community.

Very good experience! I have made a lot of good friends here over the years. The staff is very friendly. Sometimes people outside can be noisy but overall this is a great place to live. The pool is impeccably maintained.

I feel that Avonlea best suits my needs for convenience and comfort. While there are occasional disturbances due to rowdy neighbors, the level of quiet is generally acceptable and appreciated. There are always some people that disregard community policy, but the staff here always works hard to make our living experiences as comfortable as possible.

My experience here at the Avonlea has been a very good one. It is the best complex here in Cartersville and a joy to come home to! Really my only complaint would be that you can easily hear your neighbors outside or above you. I wish that these apartments were better in that area. Overall, very happy!

For the most part, living here has been very pleasant, have had a couple of problems but got passed them. I do not have a particular problem with any of the staff they are always professional. Overall like I stated my living experience here at Avonlea Highlands has been pleasant

No problems with the apartment Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Maintenance issues are responded to and corrected in a timely manner. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are no issues. I would definitely commend this apartment community to EVERYONE!

The parking is terrible, rent is very high, have had several random people knock on by door(not residents), sheriff came to my home looking to serve a warrant to previous resident, tennis courts are quite literally crumbling, so many people use the guest gate on a regular basis I think some residents have permanent guests.

I love the apt community and my apt. The grounds, breezeways, and stairs are always clean. As I mentioned I wish the apts were more sound proofed. Installing cabinets and drwawers that can't be slammed would help. Sounds just some to penetrate through the walls and ceilings.

The staff at Avonlea Highlands is fantastic and is always prompt when you need assistance. Love the layout of my apartment and have enjoyed getting to know fellow residents. The community is conveniently located within a few minutes drive from shopping, restaurants and downtown Cartersville. Great overall apartment community!

I have greatly enjoyed my time living here. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and are so courteous to everyone. The grounds are beautiful and maintenance does a great job making the complex look its best. I would recommend for sure.

I've been at Avonlea Highlands 17 months. I chose it because it had a gate, and door alarms, and was near my family. The only problem I have had was when I moved in, a few times the door would be unlocked or the alarm would be deactivated when I got home. I complained about it and it stopped. Also my rent was stolen out of the dropbox a few months ago. However, I don't blame the apartment complex for that. They changed the dropbox to a more secure one after that. I know it sounds like I'm complaining, but I have really enjoyed it here. The management are really nice folks, and I really never hear my neighbors. I think the walls are almost soundproof. There are usually community events every week, which seem like they'd be fun if I weren't a recluse. I definitely would recommend Avonlea.

Everything is always just done professional. Very happy to be living here at Avonlea Highland Apartments. Hope to be here for a long time. As my son's said. It feels and looks you are at home now. They are not worried about me living alone. I love it

I moved to Avonlea in January 2012 from a community in Marietta, Ga. The contrast in the two communities is like night and day. The staff at Avonlea are above and beyond any I have encountered. The office and maintenance managers are the prototype of what an apartment manager should be. The office and maintenance staff are all highly competent and respectful to the needs of the residents.

This is a wonderful community for me to move into. The office and maintenance staff are quick to respond and are extremely helpful. They have done things for me that were not even expected just to help me out. It is a clean and safe community. I feel right at home here.

A well maintained community with a responsive staff such as management, office staff, and maintenance (if needed). This is a place to call home for those looking for a quiet place to live. Apartments, grounds, and amenities are well maintained. Activities are often planned around events such a superbowl party, holidays, etc. for those who wish to participate. Summer pool parties are well organized and family appropriate.

The complex's common areas are kept clean - even the breezeways, which if you've lived in any other apartments are usually littered and stained. The apartments are within walking distance to restaurants which is why I decided to move there in 2013.

Avonlea Highlands & the staff have made moving to Georgia the most awesome experience. The community & grounds are well taken care of. My maintenance is always handled the same day. I receive follow up calls to ensure that things are ok. I love it

I have had such a positive experience living in the Avonlea since I have retired. I have met so many wonderful people. I feel very safe and secure in my surroundings. The staff has treated me as if I were part of their family! They give 110% to everything you ask them to do.

We love living here and would remain for a few more years. However; the rent continues to increase and the utilities are way too high for an apartment this size. The noise levels inside the apartment from outside, are extremely high. We find ourselves Modifying our daily live in many ways to accommodate our neighbors. The office staff are very helpful and eager to resolve issues as they arrive. But construction is what dictates these problems.

Our experience has been amazing. Definitely is the best apartments in Cartersville. We moved here before we got married and it has been nothing but smooth sailing. Thankfully our cat loves it too haha! Great staff, great residents, great apartments!

This is an excellent place to live! The staff is professional and friendly! The amenities are amazing and the apartment is definitely home to us! I would highly recommend this as THE apartments to live in if you are moving in to Cartersville!

Well kept with great appearance from the outside. Has gotten more and more expensive and not a good value at this point when you consider the outdated look of the kitchens and bath. Staff is responsive and friendly. Probably the best place in Cartersville but not worth the money if they ever get any competition.

Great place to live. Clean, friendly, and safe. They are quick to repair any reported problems involving maintenance. There is plenty of parking for all residents, plus some. They do a great job keeping the apartments looking almost new, although they are a couple of years old.
