The apartment itself is great. The community is clean and quiet, but half of the buildings do not have enough parking, so you are forced to walk a considerable distance. If you do move in, get a building near the gate.

Everyone here is super helpful and friendly. There is really no complaints on my part living in this apartment and area. You're within a good driving range for shopping but it's a little bit of a drive for a work weekday depending on where your job is located due to traffic. Overall this is a great place to be living.

This community is perfectly located in one of the safest and most accessible parts of Cumming. All of the units are really clean and quiet. The pool and grill are great amenities in the summertime. Only downside is I get home late from work and hard to find parking sometimes.

I have enjoyed my experience at The Columns. My neighbors and the staff have been very nice. The Columns apartments are close to GA 400 and you can get to downtown Cumming within minutes. I would highly recommend The Columns.

It is crazy expensive and you get hit with random bills all the time. I was told my rate was $890.00 flat which included everything. Well now my rent is somehow up to $950.00 a month!! That is crazy. The charges vary from sewer, trash service etc. And if you do not live at the front of the complex, you have to drive to take your garbage out. If they want me to pay for trash pickup they need to either put a dumpster in the back or pay my gas money.. stupid. I would say do not stay here but this is like the only apartments in the area. Oh and do not let the pictures of the fitness center fool you. There is literally a treadmill and a broken bike.

The pool and amenities are great and I? use them whenever I? can. Trash compactor is conveniently located and it is nice to take my own trash there as needed. Apartments are dated on the inside. They need granite, hardwood/laminate flooring and tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. The parking is great for me because I? get a garage which is a must have. Apartment size is adequate.

This complex is a quiet and the residents are very helpful and friendly. The staff is helpful and takes care of the property for the most part. The common areas - stairs and hallways seem to not be a top priority for them.

There parking is a nightmare. It's the stupidest parking layout ever. No idea who thought it would work. I literally end up parking 6 buildings away on a regular basis. If half the residents traded their cars for bikes, we might all fit.

These apartments are comfortable to live in. They carry a very friendly staff. Though the floors in the apartment are very thin. That being said if you don't want to hear elephants running around above you while you're in bed.. Then I would suggest you request an apartment on the top floor. Overall I'm please with where I live.

This complex was great when we moved in but has since gone downhill in so many was. Cops are always here at random times of the days, dogs poop everywhere, trash is thrown down everywhere, fighting over parking spaces. The staff that I came in with are now both gone, Will and Karen, they were fantastic. I don't know the new people at all and the apartment manager does not really seem to do much more than sit in the office but not really sure. A few kids have gone missing from the bus and there are 7 and 8 year old kids that are allowed to get off the school bus with no adult supervision and then they go home alone. I am pretty sure that is illegal. And the moldy windows.....I will just stop with this.

The location of these apartments, paired with the diligence of the staff, makes this a wonderful place to call home. I am so thankful to come home to The Columns. My neighbors are lovely; the amenities are more than I could ask for. When I was researching apartments in this area, the only criticism I saw for The Columns was the limited parking. I have never had an issue with parking and neither have guests to my apartment.

Other than smelling smoke in our apartment, my overall experience has been fine. My wife and I had to transfer from one apartment to another due to the neglect of one resident and his persistence to continue smoking in the "rented" apartment not his. The smoke has caused a burden on my pregnant wife and I and has caused us the inconvenience of moving into another apartment instead of addressing the issue/problem/source from the start. Please advise! We appreciate what the staff has done for us here but this is a clear violation of the lease! We are now in a similar situation, where someone below us is smoking (even after my wife and I visited the apartment and spoke to the resident directly on the 2nd floor) and the resident admitted that he did not smoke and also mentioned the other resident on the ground floor had stopped smoking, even though he has not. I personally saw a lighter, a crushed top of a beer can with cigarette buds stuck in it, along with cigarette buds on the porch area. I know that residents have every right to smoke outside their apartment if they chose too but it cannot be ruled out of the possibility that someone could still smoke in their apartment (even if it was occasionally) and still leave little evidence behind that they were smoking.

The time and minimum fuss of moving into an apartment was not an issue here will at the front office was professional had the skill set and knows exactly what he is doing. I highly recommend the columns at pilgrim mill I could not be happier I looked for months and there were always issues not here thanks pilgrim mill

Living at The Columns at Pilgrim Mill for 7 years. The apartment is great, the office staff and the maintenance staff are professional, prompt and friendly. The only problem is that they do not have enough parking.
