I have enjoyed my experience here. The complex is clean and we have had no major issues. The windows sweat a lot but other than that I don't have any complaints. I like the pool area and even though the work out area is small it is nice to have a place to go.

I would highly recommend this apartment complex to any of my closes friends or family. The place is kept clean and very safe to live in. The staff is always friendly and fast to anwser any important issues.

We moved here from aubreys landing. So glad we did. We are close to several of our favorite things and family. The patio outside of our apartment is wonderful. Nice and clean place to live with great neighbors!

Parking was absolutely Horrible! Especially in the very back. Expect to be angery because you have to park far away if its after 7-8pm. Internet (Broadstar) was complete garbage as well. Only one computer can really be online or else its really slow. There is no "modem" to reset. Gamer? Expect to lag in online games till about 3am-9am. Oh, and while being on the bottom floor was great.... Upstairs neighbors made an ABSURD amount of unnecessary noise.

As apartments go, The Columns at Pilgrim Mill is a great place to live. Forsyth County as a whole is very safe, and this apartment complex is no different. It is a relatively new complex (just several years old), so it doesn't have the wear and tear of older buildings. I've read other reviews complaining about the parking, but it probably depends on which building you live in. I live in a building on one end of the complex, and I rarely have trouble getting a spot nearby even when I come home late at night or in the morning on weekends. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. My only real complaint is noise. I live on the back of the building away from the parking lot and stairs, so fortunately I don't have to contend with that kind of noise. And, I have great neighbors apart from the young couple downstairs who occasionally like to invite their friends over on weekends and sit out on their patio talking at the top of their lungs until 4 a.m. Fortunately they don't do it that often, because the walls and windows do little to keep the noise out. The worst example I can give is that the walls are so thin, I can actually hear my other neighbor snoring at night through the wall. But like I said, overall it's been a really good experience, I only wish the company that owns the place had spent more money on insulation when they built the place. I would still recommend living here.

Parking is a NIGHTMARE. I have complained till I'm blue in the face.Parking is not managed at all. Friday evening I counted 12 cars in front of my apartment that do not have stickers. I rarely get to park near my apartment. As far as the trash that was piled over the holidays I understand that the bill was finally paid so that has been corrected. Thanks !! I hate complaining however when the service and quality go down and my rent raises dramatically I have an issue. I will not be renewing. Office staff is very nice. The parking situation should be assigned or better managed.

Parking horrible! If you work late, you to get to park in the visitors parking and walk all the way to your home! While the visitors get to take your space! They have stickers for your car but they don't mean a thing! What is the point of stickers?? Nothing and the peaple who take addvantage know it! You cannot take your family to the pool because they allow smoking all around the pool. I have never seen a place allow smoking in public areas that should be enjoyed by all!

Home at The Columns at Pilgrim Mill

I can't begin to tell you how nice this complex is. I am 62 years old and have lived in several cities around the US during my career. I am in Cumming to be near my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. I have lived at the Columns for 7 months now. I am very impressed. I have a spacious one bedroom on the top floor of my building. I love it. The staff at the complex works hard to keep the complex and my home looking great and they are always right there when you need them. The office staff and management are top notch. They are always with a smile and very willing to be of help. The club house and pool are fantastic and here, the pool is kept open all year long. Overall I suggest you come visit and see for yourself. I love my home.

Wonderful New Home

My husband and I just moved in this week and already love it. We were surprised by how quiet our building was and love how the only noise comes from the great outdoors! The view is also a plus. Jesse, in the office, really made the rental experience painless and worry free. She was a great help and we are very pleased with our new home. :)

Steer clear!

I'm not going to give them one star unless forced to in order to post this review. All the things that were good about this place just went down the toilet the moment I had walked out the door to find my truck gone. At first I almost thought and felt the dread it might have been stole since there have been some vandalism in the complex but then I knew chances are it was towed. I called up and sure enough they towed my truck, for parking in the ONLY available parking space remotely near my building - a "handicap" space. I've dealt with the brown outs, the power outages and the most HORRIBLE cell signal (despite being right off GA 400), but then have to spend over $100 5 freaking days before CHRISTMAS to get my truck out of impound. No warning. Just up and stole my truck. So, if I were you, I'd stay far away from this hole.

Worst apartments PERIOD!!!!

Never took care of anything! When we moved in, the carpet looked fine, then stains rose up again. We told them numerous times about it and they never did anything about it! Needless to say they blamed it on us and never gave us our deposit back at the end of the lease! Also the parking is a freakin' joke! There is NEVER a parking spot available! Snoty little girls run the office too. Glad I'm done with this place but pissed that they felt the need to blame their mistakes on their tenant! SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!

What an awesome place!!

I moved into a wonderful place with the most kind and welcoming people. I truly love living here and I would recommend it to all my friends and family. If I call with a maintenance need they are quick to respond and they treat my home with care and respect. I have lived in other apartments over the years but not compare to The Columns at Pilgrim Mill. Jesse who is an office member is always smiling and ready to help and make your stay pleasant!! Two-thumbs up for The Columns @ Pilgrim Mill!!

Wonderful

This experience has been truly easy due to the office staff. Michelle has handled all my issues in a manner that far exceeded and above what the normal duties that I ve found in the past. The apartment is great. Layout is exactly what I was looking for. The one problem I found in the apartment was handled the very next day. Looking at other sites, this one far exceeds what I expected when looking for an apartment. However, BroadStar has been non-interested in my business and I have been disconnected on the phone with BroadStar. The only way this has been rectified was by Michelle dealing with BroadStar for me and helped handle all issues. Again, she exceeded her job in helping me. Once again, this has been an easy move due to the staff of The Columns.

My Home

The Columns at Pilgrim Mill has been my home for the past three and a half years. It has been a safe environment as I am a teacher and live alone. I have made many friends , long lasting friends here and have been treated respectfully and with a demeanor which I didn't know existed since I was not from Cumming. Nancy and Jesse and Michelle treated me like I was their friend, rather than a tenant, and for this kindness, I can never thank them enough. I want the ECI Management Corporation to know how much it has meant for me to be a part of this "family" and one I will visit now and again when I need to feel the goodness and community that this apartment offers. Thank you for all the wonderful memories I have experienced here because of your incredible staff.I was here in the beginning and will be one of the last to leave and thank you from day one for making me feel so very welcomed.

Not so great

Great when signing lease but not so great on other things. Parking is horrible. Courtesy cops write up cars that have permits and not if they don't! Management not very effective. Can't wait until the lease is up.

WONDERFUL place to live!

Living here is great! The management is right on top of everything, knows their residents by name, and does everything in their power to make the living experience here an enjoyable one! It's quiet and their are not major distractions. I love the pool... I absolutely love it!! Oh and let's not forget the maintenance!- Outstanding!! Thank you guys for doing a great job!! My husband and I appreciate it.

Horrible Parking!

The parking situation here is absolutely horrible. I have had to park three buildings away from the building where I live. This is something that occurs on a regular basis. I have had to park away from my building many more times than I have had the pleasure of parking in front of it. This is especially frustrating when it is raining! It seems as if the apartments were built and the parking was an after thought. The location and the apartments themselves are not bad, but the parking situation alone is enough to make me move when my lease is up.

maintenance sucks

Bad place I needed my water heater fixed and when i asked them to fix it all they did was come in and push the reset button on it. it broke again, they came out again, and did the same thing. this happened three times until i just threw the guy a twenty to leave the water heater door unlocked and just did it myself. also waited more than a year to replace my air filter that was filthy when i moved in.

We do have a problem with parking spaces... if you get out of work late and live in the end buildings (where all the 3 br aptmns are)... it is only a dream and luck to get a parking space... logical thinking would be with 3 bedrooms at least 2 cars per apartment if not 3 (in case it is all adults living in it) but... if we are good to them is is about a car and a half (if that's possible) per apartment. Other than that is not that bad... apartments are big and at a good price. Office staff is nice and they try to fix your problems asap. I have heard about black mold in some of the apartments... but not sure about it. If you don't mind walking at night from your car to your apartment then really you should have no problem living here
