Very upset
My car was towed for having expired tags on mothers day. Idlewylde has a security patrol that they use and gives permission to tow cars at the owners expense for something that has nothing to do with them. I have never in my life lived in a community that allows security to do such things. My car was not parked illegally. It was parked in front of my apartment building minding it's own business.. Police officers give tickets for expired tags not tow your vehicle. I feel this is a "personal" matter that has NOTHING to do with the community. My lease agreement nor does any paperwork that i'm aware of signing forwarned me of this?? As long as my rent is paid and i don't have an abandoned vehicle on the property i should have freedom at my place of residence. They are almost impossible to get on the phone during the weekend. I had to wait until 1pm for the office to open to see what tow company had my vehicle. This is theft basically. Taking property without permission. I am waiting for a phone call from management to supply me with something in writing that supports this action.

Absolutely Horrible... Dont Do It.....
Idlewylde is absolutely the worst place that I have ever lived since I have lived in Georgia. I would never ever recommend anyone to move to this place. I would even tell new tenents riding around on the property to not move here. The fact is Idlewylde does have a bug problem.. not just roaches, ants and these little silver looking flat worms. No matter how clean you are, they will still get into your apartment. Yeah, you can call maintenance and they will come out.. But how many times should you have to call before you get tired of calling??? Buying your own spray only pacifies the issue because you get tired of calling the front office.. Ants got into everything into our pantry.. we were out of a nice amount of food.. you think the leasing office gave us anything in return after they seen numerous calls and complaints of bugs?? Hell naw... All we got was we we will send someone out to spray?? Same old thing over and over...<br><br>The gates are always broken all of the time.. what good are security gates if they are always open.. would you feel safe if your front door was always open?? They also closed down one of the amenities because they could not keep out people who were not tenents.. That amenity actually sold me on moving into the apartment. <br><br>As others have said, management are rude and they talk to you any kind of way when you come in and complain.. Even the leasing manager.. She told me that my wife didnt get permission from her for me to move in?? What the f@8k?? I had to put her in her place.. I wont go into detail on what I said to her.<br><br>From the constant calls on my refrigerator leaking and the freezer freezing up to the point that is stops working, to the constant calls on the bugs, to the broken gates, to the rude management, to the kids hanging out at all times of night, to the loud and noisy neighbors, to where you cant even park in front of your own building because people have too many cars..<br><br>I hate this place.. literaly .. The only reason why I stayed is because its close to my job.. but I am out next month..<br><br>DO NOT MOVE HERE, YOU'LL REGRET IT IF YOU DO....

As a single mother moving from the Sugarloaf area I had to make very calculated decisions about where I would raise my son. Despite all the horrid reviews I moved to Idlewylde in October 2006 based on a personal friend's recommendation. She did not live there at the time, but had in the past and just a bit over a week ago moved back in. My apartment selection was very hastily decided in regards to which unit. As a result, the comfort level is sub par due to poor insulation. I also experience normal noise from the neighbors which can be expected in any apartment community. Management and other staff pride themselves on keeping the community clean. It's not what I would call beautifully landscaped, but for such a large community, it gets the job done. People compliment my choice often. On site security monitor the grounds and each unit is equipped with an alarm system. I also checked the sex offender registry prior to move-in. Clean slate and I check regularly. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and the quality of work is superb. While I believe management and the staff do an excellent job at keeping the community up, there are some less than desirable staff members that I prefer not to deal with. At times, I feel like I'm being brushed off or hurried. This may be due to the volume of requests from residents for whatever subject matter, but nonetheless it's unacceptable. The majority of the staff is quite the opposite. As far as children go. My son is enjoying the fact that there are a good number of children his age close by. One issue that needs to be addressed is unattended children. Children of all ages wander the community, but I believe this is a parenting issue. Bottom line. All apartment communities will have it's undesirables. I feel safe here. The rent is reasonable. The amenities are great. The floor plans rock. The staff is responsive. My decision to renew will be based on money. If the price is in my budget I will definitely stay. ** Update November 2012 ** I left this apartment to move to a rental home and have found that property maintenance is not my thing, not to mention for the same price as an apartment rental at Idlewylde, all you get is a home that is at least 30 years old and not properly maintained in an unkempt neighborhood, landscape responsibilites, even LESS responsive maintenance requests. I'm regretting leaving Idlewylde. I was always complimented by friends and family. Now I can barely stand the thought of having visitors. I'm now trying to find a similar style apartment/ameniites and in my price range, all that is out there is WORSE....WAY WORSE. Unfortunately, my son did not like the school district, but loves the one he is in now. If it weren't for that, I'd be back at Idlewylde in a heartbeat. If you can afford more than move to John's Creek or Suwanee, but in Duluth at this price range, amenities, neighborhood, this is the BEST you will get....and I don't even live there anymore. I last paid $735 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath with french door(s) to the balcony overlooking the nature trail. I only lived in that unit for a year before I so thoughtfully decided to "upgrade" to a house.

To Say The Least...Not Recommended
I moved to Idlewylde from Indiana in August 2006. Well, where do I start. I sent my rent registered mail. They told me the day I was suppose to move...had a truck full of furniture that they did not have my money. They called me back after I was about to lose my mind and said that the rental accountant (if that's what she's called) had the money and did not registered it in my file. They told me for two days...they didn't have my money..and received my money three days prior to me moving in. When I moved in, the apartment was not completed. I had a leaked roof, (drip, drip, drip)...paint was falling out the ceiling....then...the day after I moved in, someone stole my daughter's bike off the porch...I was not in my complex 24 hours before I had a theft. I wrote a very nasty note to them, the gwinnett county police had nothing nice to say about the aparment complex. Now the people that has said on here that this is the best thing since "slice bread"...I don't know where they lived before...hmmmm...I wonder. Oh yeah...the roaches....when it get's warm...be prepared. It's on and poppin. They have poor choice of who they let move in. Like I said to say the least...will not recommend moving here. I am counting down my months until I move.

Great Experience
I would have to say that Idlewylde has been a great experience for me. I moved in not too long ago and the leasing staff was wonderful. They were very prompt in getting me in here and my apartment was clean when I moved in. The maintainance staff have been diligent in getting all my workorders done in a timely manner. I love the atmosphere in the office because everyone is so friendly and nice. I would recommend this apartment community to any of my friends.

Never again
I got a good deal when I moved in. The apartment was nice and maintenance responded in a timely manner. HOWEVER, Crime is high. There was always a noise problem. People hung out by there cars. Cops were always there, security was never around. My car got hit and the police never pursued it. My electric bill was outrageous. when I got my renewal notice my rent went up $100 per month. So I moved.

ENTER IF YOU DARE!!!
My fiance and I moved to Idlewylde in the summer of 06. At first we thought this was a lovely place and was excited about moving into our new home. <br><br>The day we were to sign our lease our leasing agent was no where to be found and eventually she told us to talk to another agent. <br><br>Okay so that wasn't so bad... Well as the months wore on things steadily got worse. Noisy neighbors, poor and rude management, gangs, you name it and it is here at Idlewylde. Management is far from considerate of problems. From what I can gather from my stay at Idlewylde is they are only out for money. <br><br>For the first few months we lived at Idlewylde the gates did not work at all. Maintenance has no problems just walking into your apartment without knocking or anything. Im sorry but I was raised with manners, you do not just barge into someones apartment without knocking.<br><br>I work a late shift so I have to come home at night. I could not even get out of my car without looking over my shoulder to see if there was anyone waiting to rob me. I thought you were suppose to feel safe at home?? Safe is not how I would describe the way I feel about Idlewylde.<br><br>Garages? Yes Idlewylde has garages but they don't only lease them to residents they also lease them to people who doesn't even live there.<br><br>Gates? Yes they have gates too but they leave them open half the time. Not to mention people running through them and almost rear ending the residents because they don't have a card.<br><br>The list of problems could go on and on. But I think everyone understands what I am trying to get at. This is not a place to call home. I envy the people whose leases ended before ours, and I pity the people who are still stuck in this mess.

Idlewylde is GREAT!!!!
15 years ago, my mother (who is now deceased) gave me a ring that is very dear to my heart. TODAY.....I dropped the ring down the sink drain in the bathroom. Within minutes maintenance was at my door and SAVED my precious ring!!! Thank you Idlewylde!! I LOVE MY HOME!!!

Mgt is the reason why they've lost 5 leases
I moved in sping of 06. After 3 months of living here within 6 weeks several things happened from cars being stolen cars, armed robberies, security guards being bet up, doors kicked in, I could go on alot longer about everything, bball court closed.... All of this information is available from gwinnett county pd. I work in customer service so I totally understand things happen, but when you speak to the management they should act concerned. Someone broke into my neighbors apt and attempted to break in mine, we went to the office, after we explained what happened the VERY first words from their mouth..."read your lease, we DO NOT offer safety" not I'm sorry, no lets see how we can help, nothing nice at all!!!!!! I asked to speak with someone above her, the mgr over her was worse. I ended up calling the corp office in Ohio, not about the crimes but about management. They were alot more helpfull and concerned. <br>I have several friends that live here and they had the same problems with mgt as well. Now all all of us are moving!!!!!!!<br><br>Please note that maint. guys are great and the apartments are beautiful. The amount of crimes has dropped since we got new security! But it's way to late!!!!!!!!<br>

If experience warrants a compliment so be it--if not--tell it!-But I agree, Idlewylde is AMAZING!
It is my belief based on actual tenant experience that the majority of comments on this post are accurate regarding true Idlewylde experience. Do not be deceived! If you are coming from a cave -- you may be impressed, otherwise, you're in for the shock of your life! <br><br>One call doesn't resolve the cockroach problem regardless of their origin, the entire building I lived in was infested and other residents complained! I vouch for the resident that states they've endured this problem. That's why I eventually moved! I, too, had to contact corporate after failed attempts to resolve the probably amicably with the office, and while corporate did intervene, the problem persisted. The office sent out an exterminator that made five minute visits over and over with no resolution. Is it true that expecting different results with the same approaches defines insanity? They just didn't care to explore the matter beyond minute surface resolutions that meant investment for them. <br><br>I've lived in several apartments along the entire east coast including New York, Virginia, North Carolina and now Georgia and all of my experiences of "upscale communites" did NOT include residency with roaches even with tenant turnover. The properties were such that they proactively warted this problem with regular and routine exterminating. As unreasonable as it may be, when you're not used to living with roaches and contending with such mentality that turnover breeds this problem, it's not fun! An infested tenant would not complain -- that's familiar territory to a person of that nature -- otherwise this situation warrants fair COMPLAINT!!!!!! I, do however agree, that in some communities by the looks of things, it's to be expected, but honestly just looking and for the prices, I don't think most of Idlewylde's tenants are prepared for the experience of cockroaches regardless of the reason. <br><br>I experienced absolutely no regard for me as a tenant. I was never late and rarely went in the office because I didn't want to experience the rudeness. The staff threatened to call the police on my 10 year daughter when we moved in because she went in to ask where the playground was, and they didn't have time to be bothered with her. The bottom line, the problem is real, cockroaches, rudeness and all! Attempts were made by the manager to make me feel demeaned (which didn't work) to the point of stating, I was the only case they'd experienced as there were no other complaints -- and I find apparently this too was a lie by the 12/18/2006 posting, although I didn't care if my problem was the only one as it was the only one that mattered to me! <br><br>Do your homework!!!!!! Visit, ask (inquire) and review. With exposure they actually may have a change of venue and start to treat their tenants respectfully! The expectation is to assume an establishment in solicitation of patronage would demonstrate such (excellent) treatment to their patrons/tenants (especially when you're paying on time as I did, etc., and there is no need to compliment good service as it should be STANDARD, however when you are shocked by not only not receving this, but it's to the extreme of degrading, extremely negative treatment on the far side of the scale -- that should be revealed and few will step to the plate, however, fortunately some will!

THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Idlewylde is amazing.
I have lived in Idlewylde for a year, and it is great. How dare these people even begin to think that it is nothing but. Their management is amazing, and the staff are extremely nice. It amazes me that human nature is, of course, to complain before they will compliment- that is why you will also see more demeaning responses than actual compliments. <br><br>I moved in February of last year, and Idlewylde has more than surpassed my expectations. People want to complain about cockroaches? Well, one call to the office will take care of that problem, and common sense tells you (if you, yourself isn't infested with them) that when new tennants move in, they can possibly bring bugs with them. That comes with any complex! I could call maintenance for anything, including changing the lightbulb in the fridge. They also work really hard to get me in the apt. I wanted, when I wanted it.<br><br>Take my word for it... Idlewylde is really superb. Another word of advice is to go to a complex more than once, to get a feel for the people. Ask to look at the apt. more than once and drive around during the day, and at night. That will give you a good idea of what you are getting into. Don't let these petty comments make your decision. There will always be more people angry enough to post a response, such as those above, than those people that will actually take the time to compliment.

The Worst Place I EVER LIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The management here is awful I have Never lived in a place were management tries so hard to make you move. 1. thing that happened was we moved here from out of town and our apartment was FULL of Roaches which we had to call the Corparate Office to make them fix the problem that took a full month to resolve and we STILL have them. 2. Idlewyde towed our vehical for an expired tag!!!! which we had to pay 150 dollars to get back from some raciest man that took us almost two days and Management said it's the rules to tow vehicals with expied tags and what do you want us to do about it. HERE'S a clue Stop harrassing you tenants that pay rent Etc. I could go on for a while but I hope you get the Picture.

Isn't it interesing? 60 Postings to date and 75% say NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some degree of noise is to be expected in a multi-family housing unit (neighbors complain of excessive noise in single family housing units-PURCHASED OR RENTED, THAT IS, a townhouse, condo, single home or apartment, on and on..duh?), however a tenant's complaint of an unreasonable amount of noise and disturbance in an apartment is not ridiculous. JUST AS SINGLE FAMILY OR OCCUPANTS OWNING THEIR PROPERTY SOLICIT THE ASSISTANCE OF THE POLICE IF NECESSARY FOR ASSISTANCE WITH EXTREME DISTURBANCE, IS IT UNREASONABLE TO SEEK THE HELP OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IN RENTED APARTMENTS FOR THE SAME (certain neighbor etiquette is a reasonable expectation in apartments or any multi-family dwelling)? As far as it being UNREASONABLE to expect this as a tenant and soliciting property management's cooperation with valid complaints, I THINK NOT IF THEY ARE SINCERE IN THEIR AGENDA OF MAKING THEIR TENANTS STAY A PLEASANT ONE AND NOT JUST COLLECTING RENT TRYING TO KEEP A HIGH OCCUPANY (quota percentage) THUS IN TURN PROFIT GAIN VIA POOR TENANT SELECTION, ETC.--Huuummmm--IS solicitation to tenants with "perks" by the S. Garner, author of the 10/03/2006 posting, to be expected next - Shouldn't one completing a complimentary notice want such satisfaction to be known to the entity of "honor being complimented" and not ANONYMOUS like "The Reserve" in Duluth's postings -- if you live there, the "fury of the wrath" of a defensive, rude manager may be a valid reason for a public complaint to be Anonymous-the IDLE side of the complex has expired if it ever existed and it's truly gone WILD (WYLDE)!!!!!!Prospective new tenants--do your homework, you may find yourself not "living" but S U R V I V I N G !!!!!!

this place really sucks!!!!! the management is so horrible. I live below the most noisy people in the world and the manage ment wont do anything about it except tell me that I have to have proof, then when I tell them to come to my apartment to hear the noise they say they dont have time for that. maybe you dont have time because you are too busy lying to people to get them to move in here. this place looks nice, but is so no worth the money. It is over priced and they can shove this place up their asses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Response to 10/03/2006
While inargurably Idlewylde is an attractive complex (which attracts residents), it is an unrealistic statistic to advertise complaints as LESS than 1% (referencing your 1 unhappy resident versus 842 happy residents) without supportive documentation of presentable surveys, etc, against your existing postings. While the 1 complaint per month may be factual as far as the public knows, the comments on the site are actuals from various residents living or have lived on the property. <br><br>Survey statistics do, however, reveal that MOST people happy or unhappy with any merchants (in any entity or capacity) do not complain. Usually the best residents in terms of what merchants expect (which is the bottom line on time payment) will come and go without a word, never stating their "beef". Their silence does not mean they do or did not have concerns, they simply chose not to voice them. Of the parties associated with public disclosure, that is, the residents actually posting views or opinions and the parties managing Idlewylde and/or property owners in corporate that are being cited by the opinions of residents -- neither can speak for silent tenants as their true feelings are not verifiable by printed postings or otherwise. To that end, those persons or individuals that chose to vocalize their concerns and experiences are the exception, that are assertive enough in some cases (as extremes exists in all instances) to publicize their experience. In many historical instances actions of this nature has been the catalyst or initializing instrument to change and/or improvement either by force or objective willingness of the "Authority" able to do so by listening and responding. A more favorable management response of willingness to listen with humility versus defensiveness and unproved statistics (posting actual survey results and testimonials) and/or acknowledgement of willingness to be professional and customer service friendly would have been a bit more tasteful than the tone of the 10/03/2006 posting -- therefore appealing and attracting more positive conclusions versus one of attack and criticism of your previous or existing patrons. It makes one wonder about the validity of the postings commenting on the unprofessionalism of the personnel and their aura toward their patrons when a less than favorable matter is approached. When you are in a business to obtain customers the old cliche' saying "You attract more kindness with honey versus bitterness" is true (EVEN WHEN EVERYTHING IS NOT PERFECT AND DISMAY OR DISCONTENT IS EXPRESSED OR SHARED BY PATRONS)-- (ALTHOUGH IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE THAT YOU WOULD RECTIFY AND/CLARIFY THE UNTRUTHFUL STATEMENT OF YOUR PROPERTY BEING ONE IN ACCEPTANCE OF SECTION 8 OR GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE -- AS IT'S KNOWN THAT TYPICALLY TROUBLE COMES ALONG WITH SUCH -- SAD TO SAY. --I, DID HOWEVER, LEARN WHILE LIVING THERE THAT THE PROPERTY DIRECTLY NEXT DOOR IS SUCH A PROPERTY WITH INCOME LIMITATION FOR TENANTS--WHICH DISAPPOINTED ME TO BE SO CLOSE) While I understand discrimination laws protect the interest of everyone, it is unfortunate that in a lot of cases properties of this nature attracts a certain clientele' and I believe this was part of the problem with the negative loitering at Idlewylde. Resident ID's in light of the "rowdy" intrusive neighbors probably would not be a bad idea for the innocent victimized Idlewylde residents. This coupled with the incompentent rude staff is a huge draw back! No situation is perfect all of the time where a number of people are involved. That stands to reason. Rational minded consumers realize this in any reviews. The position of the "Authority" (that is Managers, Owners, etc.) is imperative to success, whether that involves corrective measures or continued positive growth with current procedures (if they are working), which is where the focus should be as the pace of day-to-day life changes standards on a regular basis - in order to be up to speed and compete favorably. <br><br>I lived there under the current management and staff -- I know!!!!!! View each review objectively based on wording, tone and intellect to separate the angry trouble maker that nobody can please (and unreasonable aura) versus the sincere citizen that simply want to bring truth to light that otherwise would be concealed to win you over as a tenant and the truth later learned on the opposite side of the application and recruitment to their detriment.

Idlewylde is a beautiful community and has a lot to offer. Since January 2006, this site is averaging appoximately 1 complaint per month. When you consider that we have 843 apartment homes, that is a very low percentage of unhappy people! You can't please everyone all of the time, but we have 842 happy residents that are not posting their thoughts on this web site.<br><br>Also, Idlewylde does NOT accept Section 8 or any other form of government assisted housing programs. Never has, never will.

We moved out September 06 and are glad to be gone. Had problem with neighbor. Management was unresponsive and hard to reach. Gates to comunity were broken more often than they worked. <br><br>You can do better than this.

has gone down hill .....
I moved in Phase 2 October 2002. Things were great but after two years things went down hill, car break ins, people breaking into apartments, vandalism in the gym, there is a alot of ------ type of people living here now, Section 8 too. <br>I have been living here now almost 4 yrs and cant wait to move. The manager is rude the staff is not helpfull my rent went up $90 on this most recent renewal . So hopefully I will be getting a house next year. Its not the worst apartment complex in Gwinnett county but its not the best either. The apartments are nice though when I moved in they were new(Phase 2) they are spacious and I do like the layout of the apartment I have a one bedroom. The parking is a total nigthmare, the parking lot outside my building is so over crowded. If you do come home late you will not find a parking space you will have to park further out. The guy that tried to fix my problem in the bathroom did a terrible job on a problem I had with the molding coming off the outside of the bathtub which was covering up the poor flooring job, anyway then they assigned the job to another guy and he did a crappy job too so I ended going to Home Depot to fix it myself.I swear my 6 year old niece could of done a better job with this with her Elmers glue LOL..... it was so pathetic and messy and unprofessional they way this guy tried to fix it if I were him I would of been embarrased! Anyway do look around before deciding to move here.

the worst experience you can have while looking for apts....
idlewylde apts has the worst leasing consultants there is in the industry. i walked in on 7/17/06 to apply for an apt and everything went fine and was told i waould have an apt in the 1st floor like i wanted. after processing my app i was aprroved but then receive a call from Lydia telling me that unfortunely the apt i was promised has been rented to someone else but she can place me in the basement level apt. i refused to move in the basement and if im going to pay that amount of money i want what i want which was the first floor. well the next day i walk in and speak with lauren because lydia was not available and ask if they have a 2nd floor available because i like idlewylde so much that i would be willing to make an exception plus lydia told me if im not pleased i can switch apts to a first floor when one becomes available at no cost or any penalties which later after speaking with the corporate i find out is a lie and there is a $500 penalty. but back to the story she finds an apt in the 2nd floor available which happens to be above the model apt which is perfect because im a single father and my son is only 2 years old and will play and run and dont want anyone underneath me complaining about noise. well after she tells me that she is reserving the apt for me i call the next day to obtain the utilities phone #'s for the property because it wasnt given to me when i accepted the apt. but to my surprise i find out that the apt that i was promised for the second time on the second floor above the model apt is already leased to someone else who had given indication that may cancel but happened to call the same day i decided to take the apt to say that they weren't going to cancel and will be moving in. which none of this was explained to me so i had already called jackson emc to set up light and had to call back and cancel. well lauren from idlewylde then tells me that they have moved me to apt 2923 without my approval and i ask where it was located and which floor and she tells me its on the second floor which is fine with me but i'm already irritated after all this as anyone would be. i go check the apt and lauren calls me on my way and tells me that 2912 is available as well and when i get there both these apts are located in the 3rd floor. Now im to the point that i feel they are just playing with me and so i walk in the leasing office and blow up and ask for my money back. i call corporate and speak with amanda and she simply tells me she cant do anything for me but will put the copmplaint in there file so i advised her that i will let everyone know how horrible there leasing consultants are and im writing this complaint for anyone who does there research and would like to know the horrible service they are about to encounter.

Enjoy living here
As another review stated, its an apartment and a fairly large community things will happen. I haven't experienced anything negative...yet. And hopefully I won't. I love my apt and am very pleased with the layout. The rooms are huge and there is plenty of closet space. I live in the new phase in the back and my carpet, cabinets, and light fixtures are very nice. Any time I have had any problems the office has been very good about getting maintenance out to me in a hurry. They are always very pleasant. Since it is such a large community it is hard to get someone on the phone on weekends but I do not have a problem with stopping by in person. During the weekdays I can usually get someone in the office right away. The answering service is horrible but they are an answering service that generally isn't directly affiliated with the community itself and probably work for others as well. Charter's customer service is worse. But people still use them for cable. :) It is fairly quiet with the exception of the thin ceiling and pitter patter of little feet that I can hear above me. Again, I love my apt and I'd recommend it to anyone. I'll be there until I'm ready to make a purchase.

I enjoy my home!
I've been here for 4 years and I actually enjoy living here! There are some things I would change if it was a perfect world, but I can live with the fact that this is an APARTMENT, not a house. I take the good with the bad. The "bad" stuff isnt unbearable or things that the staff here cant fix. The staff is nice. Maintenace is awesome and my neighbors are cool. It's quiet in my building and every once in a while, i may get annoyed with one of my neighbors, but in a nut shell I enjoy my home!

BAD!!!
I thouhght that my husband and I were moving into a great place. But it's not. It's very dirty teh people in the main office are nice sometimes. You never feal safe to go alone to the gym because we will find people that don't live at the complex in the gym all the time braking and stealing things. DO NOT RECOMENT IT AT ALL.

Each year got worse
I lived in phase one for 3 years (big 2 bedroom 2 bath unit). Each year the rent would jump $40 to $50 dollars. On top of the rent increases they added a trash fee. Why couldn't the increased rent take care of that?<br><br>This past year my car was stolen out of my LOCKED garage. (Crazy).<br><br>When I first moved in familys would walk at night and stop and speak to one another. By the end of year three resisdents would run in lock the doors and pray to the good Lord that crime would leave them alone. Gangs of young men routinely walked their turf at night.<br><br>My unit was very nice and spacious but I never felt safe. I once asked a Gwinnett county police officer (at the local QT) what his opinion of Idlewydle was. He told me that the entire area of Boggs road was going down hill and that he would move out within the next 2-3 years. He stated that crime on Boggs Road was growing out of control.<br><br>All in all, if you pack a gun these units might still be inhabital for another 2-3 years.
