I've lived here for almost 3 years. The staff is super friendly and anytime I've had any issues, they are very quick to respond without hesitation. I would highly recommend this property to anyone! thank you!

The pros: - Location - Amenities such as valet trash, google fiber, gym, - Superb leasing office staff. Very responsive. - Followup/Maintenance is very timely ~24 hrs for routine requests - Can do everything online, you probably never need to set foot in the leasing office. - Leasing office can receive packages for you, and send an email/text when it arrives. (they even take a pic of the pkg). I received fruits from France and they kept it refrigerated for me! Cons: - Lack of parking. Terrible to have company over (maybe not a con after all). - Entry gate is terrible in function. Also they only give you one access card per household, so often times you'll see a line at the gate 5-6 cars long. - Poor building materials, especially the vinyl "wood" flooring. Terrible choice in placing them in the bathrooms, where humidity warps the flooring. - Noise level can wake you up in the middle of the night even during the week. Overall, the pros seem to outweigh the cons for me. Biggest reason being the leasing office staff and the maintenance staff being so responsive and nice.

Boy or boy, where do I start. Well after staying in a hotel for about two weeks while we were waiting on our apartment because we just moved from out of state. The problems with our apartment are endless. The reviews about Chelsea 88 not valuing their residents is true. Management never seems to be in the office. The leasing agents in the office are something with the exception of about 1 or 2 them. We moved in on the 3rd of November. The apartment was nasty. There was an awful smell in the apartment because maintenance left water in the dishwasher which resulted in nets/gnats in the apartment. The flooring in the guest bathroom was not installed properly , the tile in the bathroom was dirty and so were the tubs, roach and bug problem, toilet still running, Funky smelling pantry, door knob loose on the front door etc. We were assigned a sorry a** leasing consultant who doesn’t do her job and management(Lauren) believes all the lies they tell her and does nothing but make excuses for all the mistakes her staff makes. I am so F****** tired of hearing all their d*** excuses. Now they wanna tell us that if this doesn’t for my family to let know and they will not penalize us if we decide to leave the property. Well in that case also run us the $2,135 that we paid up front to get in the apartment. The apartment was not up to par!!! The Ladies in the office including management want to feel some type of way because we want our apartment to be right, it’s called do your job, you know what get paid for!!! Also, they pretend to not be able to get us a nice refrigerator. The one we have is old with huge spots on it/ it’s missing the piece that holds the vegetable tray up. ***Some of these things have been fixed but some issues still persist. Word of advice Chelsea 88, lose the attitude and do your jobs correctly-that’s the solution to all our problems!!!

My experience is not worth sharing. I have never enjoyed my stay due to issues during move in. The management team do not care about your issues. They are not bordered and do not care. I cannot wait to move out when my lease expires.

One word..TRASH! TRASH! TRASH! This residence is awful and it keeps getting worse the longer I stay here. This has been one of the most stressful, noisiest complexes I've ever lived in. They make you pay fees for just about everything and it's a rip off! Extra money for "valet" trash really? You don't even pick up everything out of my bin, additionally other residence will gladly dump their crap in your bin. The noise is so awful.. I can't remember the last night I've got a good nights sleep. Adults and children literally run back and forth up the steps jumping, slamming through the stairwells all day long. Then there's trash scattered all throughout the breezeways. What happened to maintenance cleaning up our breezeways? It truly does sucks living here. They keep finding more way to tack on fees to your monthly bill. I've had enough. If you really care about your peace of mind and don't want to feel like you're living in section 8 housing, please don't rent here. Rent prices are too high these days to have to live in such discomfort. I've complained numerous times to the front office, so do us both a favor and not respond with a pre-written response from the general manager. You should really spend more time getting your property back in order. It's going down hill. DO NOT RENT HERE.

Ok here we go I have been in Georgia for 20 moved from countless places b4 but have not come across a single bad experience anywhere never been late on my rent anywhere paid extra deposit if I came across an property who were restrict about credit and all but was never denied simply because my credit was bad but here at Chelsea from the day one we(me and my wife) that we were going to get rejected but against my instinct I went ahead and paid the application fee and admin fee and now the story begins I went to Chelsea's on Friday on monday I receive a call stating I have battery on my background at my current location well I disputed it since no such thing existed I was told to bring my DL and SS to leasing office which I did as soon as I got off from work. After being told by the person to wait since this Jenifer was on lunch which I didn for about 30 min and finally got up and told the lady behind the counter that if she could just make a copy of each DL and SS and pass it in to Jenifer she lazyly agreed and I left the building hoping for call back after waiting for a week I started trying to get in touch with Jenifer because every time I called either she had left for the day or on lunch and would be told that she will call back the next day but that call never came and when I finally got ahold of her she said she never got my dL or Ss and informed that I had left those about a week ago she just brushed it by saying her coworker forgot to email her about it well ok no worries I said what now?to which she said she will file the dispute for my background check and I would get a call back in 48 hours and after 96 hours I called back and was told she isn't in the office again and after about week and half finally my wife called and was told her husband(me) had a criminal background!!! 2 days later when I called was told they had a lot going on so i should wait again for her to call me back same day which never happened again next day when I called back was told oh now they are rejecting me based on my credit history okkkkkk well I tried to keep my cool and finally lost it when I felt like I was being rejected for something else rather than background or credit history and was told the admin fee will be refunded and not application fee and not a single time apology was offered for wasting some much of my time just to get rejected? Never have I seen a background check coming out before credit check and told at first rejected because of my background and when disputed was told conveniently oh well now we are rejecting you based on my credit without any workarounds that may be because of my credit I may have to deposit extra not a single apology or even remotely close to it and I m still trying to figure out what in the crazy bat hell was that about?

My experience here was different from what I thought it would be. I came in with blinders in until I actually met Macey for the first time when we were in the process of finding our home. She didnt hesitate, she didnt rush me while I looked, and she always asked if I had questions. Im so honored to have met Macey first hand as I transitioned into a new home.

Good service team and office staff. They are friendly, can actually help you resolve your issues and do it in a timely manner. The gates work, generally, and are repaired if they aren't. Very clean community with no trash left lying around; the valet trash service is working very well here. The only issue is parking. Recently, they've asked everyone to get a decal so they know only the proper vehicles are being parked here but spaces are still very hard to come by, even by early evening. There are a lot of terrible people parking their cars here when they never move them, taking up prime spaces from others that work every day and don't want a walking journey home. Garages are available, but expensive and often people park in front of them anyway.

This community is of the highest quality and standard. From the beautiful apartment homes, to the friendly staff, I am floored by the professionalism and overall hospitality that Astor Place has provided. If I ever have to move (which I do not plan on doing for awhile) the apartment complex name has to have those magical words "by Cortland" at the bottom.

I am a current resident here and I am extremely disappointed that I renewed my lease. I am currently in my 3rd lease term and it seems to continue to get worse. I recently upgraded to a renovated unit and for paying right at 1,400 a month for a 1 bedroom, you would think things would be correct. Unfortunately, this is not the case. From the moment I moved in to the new unit it has been nothing but problems from the water heater leaking and soaking the carpet, to doors not being able to close, and nails and screws being left all over the apartment and the garage when I moved in, and that's only the half of it.The window has been leaking in the bedroom for 2 months now and still has yet to be fixed. Everytime it rains, it soaks the carpet and completely ruined my curtains. I call the office every day and its excuse after excuse. Even when I go up there it seems that no one knows what they are doing. They keep saying it's the contractors. I frankly don't care who is supposed to fix it, it just needs to be fixed. Its lack of care and accountability. I am so sick of being told they will call me back and never do. More issues just seem to keep arising. I am counting down the 10 months remaining in my lease, and best believe I will not be renewing.

It has been excellent ever since I walked into the office. The office staff made sure that all of my questions were answered and made me feel right at home before I even signed a thing. I love the serenity and peace from just being at home whether I am doing some work or just taking a nice afternoon nap!

This place is below average. It's not necessarily the staff that I have an issue with, but the rules and apartments alone that I can't stand anymore. Living anywhere but the top floor good luck with not hearing your neighbors cough, sneeze, slam, be intimate, etc. It's a pain. Additionally this whole forcing residents to pay for trash service is a scam. First off, you have all these specifications on what you will and won't pick up from our bins, so why should we have to pay a mandatory 25 dollars if you won't even pick up everything? I can take the trash to the dumpster myself. It's not the safest area either. Every month I receive an email or two about someone's car being broken into. Oh yea that reminds me, the gate is always broken. If you visit the residence now you'll see where someone ran through and broke pieces off the guard on both sides. There aren't that many great amenities here either. The pool only goes up to 5 ft. and is mostly occupied by children, and the gym is small and doesn't have that many options to work out on. Then there are the bugs.. I have seen now at least 4 different types of roaches and other bugs I have never seen before in my life in my place. I keep my apartment very clean. I wonder if having to put hot trash outside your door everyday increases the bugs in your apartment...hmmmm just a thought. It's safe to say I will not be renewing my lease.

My experience at Chelsea 88 has been great, start to finish. Everyone in the leasing office and on the maintnence team are very helpful and friendly. The neighborhood is quiet and kept clean. Some may say the apartmemts are outdated a bit but they are in the midst of renovating.

Moving is a hassle all by itself however; transferring from state to state was made easy by Cortland. My moving experience was exceptional! The team at Cortland Hunter’s Creek, FL & Chelsea 88 by Cortland, GA, made my transition hassle free and the services provided between partners were EXCELLENT! The partners worked really hard to ensure a smooth relocation process. Thank you Cortland Partners, for creating a better living experience. Simply the best experience ever!

The people seem very nice. I was so greatful for all that Macey did for me. She kept in contact with me making sure I was still in the loop of what was going on. She worked diligently to get me moved in quickly on my move in day. She called me the next day to check on me and she fron tine to time makes sure I am ok. I just love Macey
