Decent apartments 2 bed 2 bath and townhouses. Older buildings though. Access to a few parks nearby. $45 rental for washer dryer (if needed). I saw a few roaches to here and there, so pest control is very important. Free parking on premises. Overall, decent value for money. I would rate it 4/5

Poor Maintaince. No a good experience. Place work order for no heat in October 2025 and they have not fix the issue. Keep coming up with a new excuse. THey have been waiting on a part since October!! Please know they are going to tell you they will take care of it and will not.

So far, my and my wife's experience at The Columns has been wonderful. We loved the location, but we've also loved discovering the surrounding area such as the restaurants and Brooke Run Park. It's going to be a great home for us. The only downside has been the presence of cockroaches in our apartment, but we're doing our best to manage it with the help of the leasing office staff.

The area is very convenient to the stores, park and marta. Parking is horrible especially when a tenant is having a party. It can be loud sometimes but its an okay place to leave until you can save enough and buy a house.

Nice place to l Iive and raise kids Parking is challenging. Large apartment, storage closet huge in sunroom. Kroger and Walmart close. Perimeter Mall accessible. I have nothing else to provide other than, it's been an experience.

Started as a peaceful community with mainly families and mid-aged (plus) adults. Now many young people who throw their trash around and run their cars and their car radios loudly - esp after 10:00, when many adults would like to retire. I was happy when I first moved in. Not anymore.

It was a great place when I moved in. I would now rate it as a 1. I'm tired of the revolving door of managers. I'm tired of the people who live in the building next to mines treating it like a pig pen, and ignoring all rules. Management does NOTHING to address this behavior.

We did a self guided tour. There were no keys or access cards in the tour 24 lock box and the office was locked with no one around so we couldn't see the amenities. The model unit we were able to access with Bluetooth on our phone unlocking it - looked nice but had a weird smell.

Out dated apartments. Thin walls make it to where you can hear everything your neighbors are doing including the toilets flushing and the showers/faucets running. Bugs are a PROBLEM! I request pest control every time I can and do my own pest control. There is always a smell. None of the windows open expect one on my patio (the brand new one because it was busted out when I first moved in). Staff is unresponsive. Management changes every month. Best thing about this apartment is the location.

This complex has rats running around freely during the day Lockboxes don't work for self guided tours. Leasing agent did not listen to the specifics of what I wanted which lead to a wasted conversation and time .

Nice community always clean. It's hard to find parking at night. The pool and tennis court is great. The maintenance could be getter. Location is convenient to everything in Dunwoody. Food shopping and local restaurants and schools.

I absolutely love this community, but I am dissatisfied with the promptness of my concerns. I have had electrical issues for many many months. I've complained, no change. I have children and I am worried for our safety in this unit.

I haven't had the absolute best experience, my apartment had a bad termite infestation that caused me and my two small children, one who is handicap to vacate and completely move apartments and have to cover all the expenses that came with the move besides some totes and a blow up mattress for us to sleep on the floor of another apartment that was freshly painted full of fumes

Upkeep of the community trash compactor is an issue. The maintenance staff does a consistent job in compacting the trash, but the tenants or others are dropping trash, work materials, furniture next to the compactor. I think some of the tenants are building contactors who are leaving some of this material.

We have had a mixed experience. The location is great, but the buildings are old and we've had some issues with the apartment as a result. The compensation has been the fairly reasonable rent. We've had some problems with neighbors who were smoking and leaving a mess, but these were finally resolved. The irregular availability of office staff/management has been particularly frustrating.

I like the community. All staff has been super helpful and accommodating. For the few maintenance issues I had, they got it resolved in less than 24 hours. So far, the community is quiet. The setup of my place, feels like a true home and not an apartment.

Neighbors are kind. I have enjoyed living here so we decided to renew our lease this year as am disabled and this is on the lower floor. Also the neighbors are clean and no trash is spread around and the children are respectful.

Marwin Hooker

I’ve been living at the Columns at Lake ridge since 2021! Never really had to meet helpful like person Marwin Hooker he is so nice and is always willing to help residents in any way possible. I’ve had a couple of issues in my apartment and they would take forever to take care of them until Marwin started working here. The other day I was having issues with my AC and that day I had called the office and Marwin made is possible to get that problem fixed that same day!

Quality of mgmt & maintenance personnel has varied greatly, resulting in my satisfaction also varying greatly. I have currently been totally without A/C at the end of July for over a week, and the current property mgr & head of maintenance seems unconcerned. After attempts to fix with parts failed they determined that unit nds to be replaced. That didn't happen when they said it would & they've now stopped responding to my update requests. I would never recommend moving here to anyone given current experience.
