Unreasonable noise level from upstairs apartment. I have spoken with other residents here and it is a common issue/complaint. Although the resident above me seems to enjoy stomping about his apartment and repeatedly slamming his doors. I hope that one day he finds a female companion instead of hanging out with teenage boys or finds a suitable hobby for apartment living that does not involve moving about with the grace of an elephant.

I moved into Walden at Oakwood in June of 2017. Prior to moving I read many reviews about this community on several apartment listing website. There were so many complaints about the management team regarding how unprofessional they are and that they pretend to be friendly and welcoming when families go in to apply for the apartment but once the families moved in management begin to "show their true colors: and are very disrespectful and unprofessional. I really needed to find a place to live quickly because my lease was finished in my prior apartment. So I decided to move and for my own opinion about Walden and now I wish I would have heeded to those complaints. I am so frustrated, stressed out and miserable living here. I have been targeted and harassed by management regarding unsubstantiated complaints made by my neighbor who lives under me. I have also been harassed by that same neighbor who has come to my door several times looking for me and on one occasion even asked my young child, " where is your mother?" I haven't EVER experienced anything like this from a management office at any of the apartments I've ever rented. I cannot wait to move!

Quiet community. Friendly neighbors and responsive staff. It is a bit pricey and utilities are separate. While there has been a fair amount of turnover in office staff in past two years, the new staff members provided for smooth transition.

My apartment is in excellent condition but if I do need any service when I report it they are their that day or the next day. The complex is very well maintained and I am very proud to tell people where I live.

We have been at Walden for about a week so far, and we love it! It's quiet and very clean. The pool is nice and the doggy park is also a nice perk since we have a dog. Management is very prompt! We had an issue with something in our apartment and management showed up the next morning to fix it. I feel very safe in this complex! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Very quiet, safe and beautiful apartment homes. I feel very safe and at home here. The community is very pleasant and diverse as well. It is the perfect blend of city meets suburb. Close enough to Atlanta, but far enough away from the congestion of a big city.

Honestly it's been great other than my chain smoker neighbor that lives in next apartment to mine. It literally smells up my apt and it stinks. Comes theu pipes and electrical outlets. I've spent to much money on air fresheners and such to try and mask it nothing helps. It's really disappointing. It's affecting me and my 10 year old sons quality of living. We have allergies and he has asthma and it's not a good situation. I was given the option of moving apartments but that seems not fair or right. Why should I have to spend money to move and be inconvenienced and such because of this? The apartment has blinds all falling apart in that unit and they appear brown from outside as well. You'd think I'd have some rights but apparently it's basically deal with it or spend money and move. Not happy about that. I should get a discount on rent to have to live next to them or provided a clean air machine.

My experience here has been great. I especially like that it is pet friendly, everything is maintained in excellent condition. It is extremely clean, beautiful landscape, apartments are very nice. My only concern is the parking in my building. We only have parking on one side of the complex and it is shared with the building next to us.

Very happy with my stay here at Walden of Oakwood! The whole staff work very hard at their jobs! The amminities are very nice the grounds are always clean and the staff are always very prompt and quick to answer any questions or maintenance issues.

We are renting a 2 bedroom, great floorplan. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and living room. Plenty of Cabinet space in kitchen. Staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient to interstate, shopping and restaurants.

Nice apartment to live in, but a little over priced for the rent. It would be nice if some utilities were covered in the rent. Not a place to live if you live paycheck to paycheck. Needs covered parking.

It is a very lovely community, very nice neighbors, a bit expensive for a single parent. Besides the finances i would recommend this developement to friends and family. Beautiful ammenities. Beautifully landscaped and maintained. People need to be mindful of gate access. Being nice to strangers can get someone else hurt ir robbed.

My initial thought of the apartment community was that it is a breath of fresh air. The grounds were clean and eye catching. That includes the amenities and landscaping. The floor plan is wonderful because it doesn't really feel like an apartment due to the space and style. I think we are going to really love living here.

It is an array of residents Single professionals, seniors, small families, and young college students with roommates. These began as very nice apartments with secured entry. Now maintenance is ax on cleaning the grounds but not on increasing rents. It's not bad for a short term solution in a great neighborhood, but long term, I can't recommend it. Your complaints of noisy neighbors will be yours to suck up.

It's a great community to live in. Safety, security, and cleanliness make living here a place to call home. It's location is close to shopping centers, restaurants, and schools. The tranquility felt here is awesome!
