The Positives: The maintenance men and office staff are friendly and quickly responsive to concerns, the grounds and facilities are well maintained, overall it feels like a safe place, and there are fun community-wide events a few times a year. The Negatives: The apartments themselves look nice, but it's kind of a facade. Even with the quietest of neighbors, you will hear EVERYTHING, especially from above. If it's quiet in my apartment, I can hear my upstairs neighbor's conversations word for word; it's that bad. Also, the windows leak, draw condensation and then grow mold. This is a well-known problem, and the monthly newsletter frequently includes reminders to wipe down the moisture. I've lived in a lot apartments off and on for the last 10 years, and I've never have I had to deal with mold growing. While I'm well aware that there are worse places out there, we're ready to go. We've pushed up our house hunt and are more than willing to pay to break our lease to get out.

I had difficulty trying to complete the application online. I contacted Ms. Lisa the next day and she was able to assist me with the process, especially knowing I was under a short window to find new living arrangements. So far my experience at Walden has be great. The office staff, especially Kesh, were extremely helpful in this transition. I was very impressed at the quality of this complex and the competitive prices. My move in went very smoothly and I'm excited to continue to settle into my new home.

This is a nice, safe and clean apartment community, but the utilities are very high and there are many small dogs with 'attitudes'. The fitness center and pool are quite small but somewhat serviceable. The location and access are very convenient except there is no signal at entrance onto very busy highway. Overall not a bargain, but not a rip-off either.

While living there, everything was great. Upon move-out is when our problems began. We received a bill for $795 for damages. We did need the blinds replaced but the other stuff they charged us for was ridiculous. This place is a racket, they charged us for pet stains even though we cleaned the carpet before we left. They also charged us for nicotine blocking paint when my wife and I don't even smoke. The only smoke we would have had in our apartment would have been from candles. The worst part is that their lease is so airtight that you have to pay for whatever they charge you for.

Good , clean and nice location. Maybe the contract with deposits and noticed time frame should be reviewed as sometimes life make us change. when something happen and we have to move for some reason (job / personal reason ) there should be a way of been able to leave prior the en of the lease if there is a good reason why .

I LOVE THE APARTEMNT IT IS IN A SUPER NEIGHBORHOOD. THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL. I LOVE HAVING ALL THE AMINITIES ON SITE. WE ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO EVERYTHING IN TOWN WITHOUT ALL THE CONGESTION AMD TRAFFIC. WALDEN AT OAKWOOD IS A GREAT PLACE AND VERY PET FRIENDLY. I HAVE JUST MOVED IN BUT FELLS LIKE HOME ALREADY.

When my job was in the process of relocating me to the Atlanta area my family looked at several areas. We fell in love with the Flowery Branch/ Oakwood area. To our surprise we found a fabulous apartment complex that we felt we could call home. The property is beautiful and the staff is great. I truly enjoying living at Walden At Oakwood. They make you feel at home. I have to say that these apartments are the nicest ones in Gainesville and in Oakwood!!! The Ms. Tina Waychester was super nice and very helpful when I first moved in. It is definitely a very peaceful place to live, no matter the time of the day.

we visited several apartment complexes in that area and found Walden at Oakwood to be the most attractive. The staff is very professional and the maintenance staff has been very helpful. This community also had the nicest amenities. The location has shopping and restaurants in close proximity. We have been extremely pleased with our decision.

I recently moved into this apartment complex, mainly because of the need to change housing and be closer to my school. Walden was very convenient for both purposes, and the staff is very friendly and easy to talk to. The apartments were almost fully booked, mainly by people who do not want to leave yet, and I can understand why.

I have really enjoyed my stay here so far at Walden at Oakwood. The office staff is amazing and very friendly. The maintenance team is very nice and responds very quickly to requests. The only thing that I am starting to notice is a bit of noise from neighbors but nothing that is not to be expected when moving into an apartment. Overall I think this is an amazing area so far and would highly recommend to anyone looking to move to the area.

Very Good. The office staff is always ready to serve you. The speed of handling all of any problems is always done quickly. The maintenance staff is very knowledgeable and attack any problems quickly. The exercise room is excellent with good equipment and also very clean.
