The complex itself is nice but the staff running aren't. Communication with them is mediocre at best. You the renter HAVE to be on top of them with issues and maintenance. Our upstairs neighbor had a leak that came into our apartment and it's apparent the maintenance staff needs to be better trained. I suggested the leak was coming from above and was brushed off until they came back a second time, and a third time, and a fourth time, and maybe more when we weren't home. I submitted the work order on 10/13 and it's now 10/29 and we haven't heard from them in over a week to find out if they will cover carpet cleaning or not. I don't think it should be the renters responsibility to manage the maintenance and office staff to communicate about issues.

We will work on what the proper required response time is and we will check to see if there was any other action that we could have taken to correct the issue faster. The complex is very nice and spacious. We normally do not have issues, but whenever something does happen like a broken microwave, etc., they get it resolved right away. My husband and I have been living here for 4 years now and plan on continuing to live here for a few more years.

I have enjoyed living at Walden. The staff and maintenance have been great. The grounds are kept clean and it has been a quiet community so far. I have been living here since January and no issues. I would recommend to friends and family.

Overall, it has been a pleasant experience. The appartment is spacious, and the complex is quiet for the most part. The staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests have always been addressed in a timely manner and completed properly. The property is well kept and well lit. My only complaint is that the breezeways, although well lit, are not cleaned more oftern (especially during the summer months) and many spiders and insects lettle in them.

Walden at Oakwood is an extremely clean, friendly and safe community. Moving from New York to Georgia it has been a major adjustment, but being at Walden at Oakwood has made it extremely easy to adjust to things here because of the kindness of the staff, maintenance and your neighbors!

So far has been an easy process. Everyone on staff was nice. The apartment was very clean. It was also a lot more spacious than other apartments I visited. The people seem friendly and it is a quiet community

I love it here, they threat me like family. The community is nice safe and quiet. The staff takes great care of the community so it looks brand new always. They are always on top of fixing issues when they arrive.

I really enjoy living here. As far as apartment living goes, it's hard to beat. I enjoy my neighbors and other dog owners are very friendly. Like anything, it's not perfect because there are always some things that aren't ideal. But if you have realistic expectations, it's as good as apartment living I've had in over 20 years! Thanks.

Seems a little unorganized but nice. Could use some upgrading for the dog wash center and play area. Staff can be a bit rude sometimes but some people are nice. Front entrance gate seems to always be broken.

I just moved in, but the apartment is clean and spacious. The pool and exercise facilities are nice! I am really enjoying it so far! There have been some issues with other residents leaving trash on the sidewalk but I think it's a one time incident. Also, bird poop is plentiful!

Overall I give Walden at Oakwood a 8 out of 10 it's probably the best your gonna get apartment wise in this area and it's very close to schools churches stores anything you need is right down the street. Staff is responsive and friendly. We're speedy and helpful getting us moved in last July. This was a major step up from anywhere we stayed. It is a huge community, but in and out traffic is light, and the gate requires a little patience along with its security. If you choose to stay on the bottom floor you'll pay more rent for more noise. I cannot speak for the other two floors above me other than they are cheaper. I love the bathrooms in my unit and my kitchen is my favorite.

I love the convenience and the community, higher rent could be lowered. The location is great, and the place is clean, but we don't have a lot of garages. We have a few students and a lot of family neighbors.

I love this apartment! I wish they were a bit bigger for the price and I wish the staff communicated a little better but other than that the complex has been wonderful! Great neighbors, great amenities, nice walking area and pet amenities as well! I definitely plan to renew our lease!

Great Place to Live! Very Clean Upscale Community. It is very quiet, the staff is always attentive to maintenance requests. It is very close to grocery stores which is very helpful. I would recommend as a great place to live!
