This is a very quiet and well kept Apartment complex. The office staff and maintenance crew are very courteous and professional. The complex is located close to grocery stores, restaurants, and a major highway into the Atlanta area.

Greedy and cruel

If you like throwing your money down the toilet instead of just buying a house, feel free to move into this fake backwards hideaway. This complex is money hungry and could care less about its residents. I am thrilled to be back North where sensible and caring people live, but tonight I get an email that confirms the reviews about ridiculous moveout fees. One final reminder of how happy I am to live in a complex that is 300 less in rent, free wifi and water, and the maintenance actually comes out in the rain to fix things, AND out of nowhere drag a couch up to the second floor when you didn't know FedEx dumped it in front of the apartment building, because they were worried it might get stolen. That's called kindness and compassion folks!!! In expensive New England of all places. At Walden at Oakwood, you'll participate in an email war where they work harder to not fix something than to just fix it, and the battle could last almost two years. And then the nail in the coffin is their ignorance of what "normal wear and tear is", and the fact that I explained certain things were impossible for me to remove from the apartment due to vehicle issues and COVID. Don't bother, and ignore the five star reviews they are probably paid reviews written by people trying to get a writing career.

This is a nice quiet, clean, secure and well managed place to live. There is easy access to everything. The apartments are well built out and well maintained. Tina, Amanda and Brittany in the office are all professional, kind and understanding.

Someone was murdered in this neighborhood kinda scary . Walls are thin . If you have a bad neighbor nothing will be done about it. Parking sucks some people have 4 cars for the one unit they live in so u r stuck parking buildings away from where u live.

I love the landscape, there are many trees common places to walk enjoy the outdoors. The Pool area is beautiful and nice area for small children to wade in and enjoy the pool too when in is hot in the summer. The staff deals with issues with other disputes with disrespectful tenants on-site in a timely manner.

It was a great process. The apartment is very spacious and very clean! There is plenty of storage space in all of the bedrooms. They replaced the carpets before we moved in which was a huge plus for me. The apartment are all gated which for safety is wonderful!

we have been very pleased with the community -- ti is very clean --their are things like the dead rose plants not being replaced and the landscape crew do a iffy job of triming the trees and bushes and grass--they need to be checked more often

Walden at Oakwood is an immaculately kept apartment complex. The maintenance crew is fantastic, the pool is fantastic, and it is pet friendly. The only thing about the complex is that the staff is not very friendly. We've had some miscommunication with them recently that would have been a big deal if I wasn't moving.

Nice, quiet community. Close to everything I need. Easy access to the highway for work, and for travel up to the north Georgia and Carolina mountains. Close to multiple grocery stores. On site laundry is super easy.

The office staff is very nice! However, the rent prices are unreasonable based on the conditions of the apartments. The apartments are mainly carpet still and the appliances are from the early 2000s. Overall, the apartment is very outdated for the rent they are asking

It's been alright overall. I do have several recommendations. I just wished we had more options and ability to pick a quiet location or apartment building that doesn't have loud tenants. Also, you pay for the amenities you hardly use (before the pandemic) so the rent could be cheaper for loyal tenants who have stayed here longer. I also think the tenants have a right to decorate their porch (at least limit the scale) as they like.

Good community. Prices are a bit high for average apartment living. Parking can get a bit crowded at times. Neighbors are pretty good overall. Would recommend for someone someone looking for an average place to live

I like pretty much everything but when built the the developer/builder should have insulated between floors. The sound is not overwhelming but can be annoying at times. Walden @ Oakwood Apartments are a decent value but there needs to be E.V. charging parking areas as many other newer apartments have. There is only one pool up front and fairly small but the poolside and covered porch with fireplace is a very attractive design.

Since day one of calling this community to view it for future residence, I've had nothing but a great experience. Brittany is amazing. She made everything very easy and was very communicative. I've had just a few minor issues since move in and so far everything has been handled and handled quickly.

Sad to see the clientele tanking here. We even used to have multiple police officers reside here and they have all bailed. There are drug dealers residing in here (I work from home and witness it) and there was a domestic in the next building over resulting in a young girl being murdered by her live-in boyfriend who was a known convicted felon. So sad. Parking is a nightmare, as people who reside in 2-3 bedrooms can't follow simple instructions of " If you have more than one vehicle you need to utilize the overflow parking lot." This results in them parking in Handicapped spots illegally and being lazy by parking right across the way from their building in front of buildings they don't live in, and then the rest of us who actually live in those apartment buildings are forced to walk all the way from overflow, sometimes alone and late at night. It's really unacceptable, but like I said, it's the undesirable clientele. There's only so much the front office can do, although I would recommend an ENFORCEABLE sticker protocol. Meaning, if you are not parked where you're supposed to be/in a handicapped spot illegally, you are towed. That's it. Not "towed to the overflow lot," which is what they "threaten" now LOL. What the heck does that accomplish?! I moved from a major city where this would never be tolerated. You were towed. People followed the rules because they knew if they didn't, they were towed at their expense. The front office staff is always helpful and friendly, and they do try working with what they have. They are very nice and do respond to any apartment maintenance/safety concerns promptly. I just think times are different now and they really need to up their bar and start enforcing stricter renter qualifications.

This is a quiet and a very safe place to live. The grounds are always kept nice. It's more like a neighborhood than an apartment complex. Neighbors taking walks in the evening well behaved children, folks just living their lives peacefully!

The apartment community for the most part has been good. It's not of the quality that it was when I first moved in, but it's still one of the better apartment communities in the area. I hope they get back to what made this a good community instead of how it is now.
