Resident's packages left in the care of the leasing office are lost or stolen and not properly delivered to the residents. Garden style units are spacious; fit my king size bedroom suit. The new fitness center and pool are small but considering we have not had ANY amenities for the past two years...glad to have them.

Great place to live! Lots of families and kids. Very quiet and peacefully as well. Pretty well secluded but still in the heart of of many shopping and highway access points. New community center is very nice. Only thing missing are sidewalks. Buses cause congestion toward the entrance and is a little dangerous for little kids walking in the street with traffic coming in and out.

Good apartment community. Very speedy response for any service request. Roaches problem do exist, but timely pest control being done which is making the roaches problem in control. Overall it was a good experience so far.

Very nice and clean community. The rent is a little expensive, but worth it for the amenities you get. Trash pick up at your door is ok. The community staff are very helpful. The new addition of the pool area and movement of the trash compactor are welcome improvements.

I have been with PAAS, especially the maintenance crew and managing staff. When I first moved in I didn't know what to expect, as this was my first non-student apartment. I definitely lucked out, especially in terms of the location. It is super close to the mall, Kroger/Trader Joe's/Publix, and Downtown Sandy Springs is BOOMING which means cute restaurants galore. I live in a 2 bed, 2.5 bath townhouse and it is perfect for my roommate and I. Rent and utilities are reasonable. The maintenance gets back to me super quick and if I submit a request before I leave for work, it is almost always done by the time I get home. I do, however, have a few things about PAAS. Notifications for package arrivals are unreliable, but they are building a mail room along with a new swimming pool. I will say the rent is a little expensive for a complex that doesn't have any amenities, but hopefully the new pool, workout area, etc. will be nice!

This is one of my favorite apartment complexes in the sandy springs area. The staff is always so generous and helpful, and the location is not far from anything. About a 5 minute drive from Perimeter Mall, and 15 minutes from the luxury sites of Buckhead. If you're looking for a nice apartment, in the perfect area for social life.. this is your next home!

I love this place! The agents are professional and respectful. This is a quiet neighborhood, but offers a lot of chances to get to know your neighbors if you'd like. The amenities are nice and maintenance staff is awesome and helpful. I would choose to live here anytime. I've lived in other apartments with the same owners and they always do a great job!

After moving in I noticed the infestation of insects/bugs including but not limited to: roaches, spiders and flying bugs in and around the premises, most obvious by the dead ones in my kitchen sink after my first night in the unit. The pest/insects are also present scurrying around outside in the shared hallways and walkways around the premises, there are still dead roaches immediately outside my apartment door. There also seems to be a lack of maintenance and upkeep on the grounds of the property, debris and trash is sprinkled everywhere along with poorly maintained roads and driveways which have above average sized potholes. I do enjoy the "decor" of the unit which includes , the stainless steel appliances, remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. I can also very easily say that my leasing agent has been great from day one, she addressed many of my concerns and those that she was not able to help with forwarded to her maintenance department. As for the rest of the staff, although my interactions with them has been limited they do seem very friendly and willing to help with my issues as a brand new tenant.

This is my first time living in an apartment community. It is overall a peaceful community to live in. However, see a lot of roaches and other bugs (which I have never seen in my life elsewhere) in the apartment despite calling for pest control regularly. Also, The management is very unfriendly and rude. Most of the ameneties that are listed are not ready for use as they have been under renovation, so we have to forego all of that during the stay. They do not have a business center for being such a large community and when I requested to print a document, I was told that they don't allow residents to print for their personal use and they would only allow it this one time. I am beyond surprised and taken aback. I always see that the leasing management is so co-operative and friendly in other communities but that doesn't hold true in Park at Abernathy. Will not recommend to others.

not good, the door is broken. the balcony is not clean. some of the repairs have to do. after a week of moving to apt repairs are not fixed. only one closet in the bedroom. no closet in the balcony for storing. no closet in the living room

I have only been here for a short time. Prices are good and renovated apartments are nice but like others have said management is terrible. They don't really care about residents. I've lived in a lot of places and it is really remarkable how rude and unhelpful they are. I would avoid this place at all costs unless you are willing to endure poor service and sub par living conditions.

Roaches are everywhere!!!!! At night when walking the dog, you see them scaling the buildings and trees. I sent a request for pest control... Nothing and I mean nothing happened. It just showed my request was closed. I'm uncomfortable here, mind you this is my first apartment experience in Georgia. Also walls are extremely thin.. I can hear the neighbors go to the bathroom (like seriously!). I'm counting down the days for me to exit this place. On a scale from 1 to 10 I rank this place a mighty HORRID 1.2!

The property is well managed. Anna from the leasing office was extremely helpful in finding me an apartment that best suited my needs. My apartment was clean when I received the keys and the application process was rather painless. I have been living here for two weeks now and absolutely love it. It's a rather quiet community in a great location. Would highly recommend!

Please stay away from park at Abernathy. Disgusting apartments, I m living here from last 6 months, wanted to get out asap. Pest is the big menace here, office staffs are not bothered to solve the issues, instead they are only interested in monthly on time rent.

****THE MANAGEMENT IS EXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY AND NON SUPPORTIVE**** It hasn't been excellent. I lived at apartments that are much better than Abernathy, the staff would only show us one apartment which is on the 3rd floor in spite of having an apartment available on the 1st floor. We had no choice/ time to look for other apartments, because of personal reasons. The very first month, I got a whopping $195 extra fee because the notice said I did not have sufficient funds in my account to pay rent, which is extremely false. I had the bank rep on the phone while talking to management, anyway the late fee was deducted and I still had to pay $75, which additional tax. The whole process of coming and giving a cheque in the office was a hassle. The staff was very unfriendly and rigid, when they dealt with the issue. I got this notice on Monday and they literally gave only two days to pay the amount (by Wednesday 10AM). They work 10-5:30, and I leave for work around 8:30 and don't get home until 6:30, when I asked them to allow me more time cos the timings weren't favorable, they would not do that. When I had someone else go in there to give the cheque, they would authorize that person to submit the cheque. They only send notices for everything, no email/ message/ call. What if the person travels for work and is not home? Apart from all these, one of the office reps tried to cook a story about my own roommate and tried to turn me against her. Who in hell does that! I never bothered about it but not everyone is cool about stuff like this. And the community itself - open drainage, bad planning, the speed bumps are not for coups and convertibles, open trash area, roaches, etc.

I am verily glad about the Complex, Managment and maintenance stafd. I would like to ask please if the stairs from the basement could be cleaned taking out dust from the back and there is a weird sound each time I used them. Appartment 6977 thank you!
