If you have children then there are a lot here. But if you are single and work 2 jobs.....this is not the place for you. When you have worked several days in a row both jobs and all you want to do is sleep and you are woke by children screaming right outside your window...you know its time to make a change. Or when you come home in the evening to a dark parking lot and realize at the last second that a whole group of people are standing in the middle of the parking lot ....just talking while children run wild....not moving...do you see the headlights....then move ! It's time to make a change.

I just moved here so I'm still trying to get around. We have a big community and everyone uses the facilities so I can't wait for the weather to get warmer so I could use the pools and the gym comfortably.

Worst unfriendly staff. They won't leave any chance to abuse you. Very unhelpful. There are better options available in the area go for them. I can guarantee you will regret and be willing to move out as soon as you come here. So why bother getting in trouble in the first place.

I've lived here for more than 6 years. I've had a raccoon family living in the wall over the fireplace since last September, scratching, squeaking and stinking up the place. I've put in more than a dozen requests to get the raccoons evicted. I've gotten 12+ emails from Vinings Corner Apartments saying the raccoons are gone. They're not. Maintenance has made up the most bizarre excuses about: "specialized cages being ordered," "wildlife trappers on call," and "putting chicken wire around the chimney." None of which has been attempted. I even refused to renew my lease and went month to month -- incurring a hefty $200 rent hike to get this taken care of. Still the problem has not been resolved. I'm currently looking for a new apartment. I don't need to hear some lame apology from the apartment manager who would be just trying to cover his a**. What's he gonna say? "We're sorry you've had this experience and we're working to get rid of the raccoon infestation?" Frankly, the past 12+ emails saying that "the problem was taken care of" -- when it wasn't and all of the bogus excuses from maintenance -- undermines the credibility of any communications from the Vinings Corner Apartments staff.

I m affected one we are paying fine money for the 3 Rd time which 300$ gain to vinings corner.i feel auto payment should be enable for God sake....

I would stay away - other great options in the surrounding area. I originally moved in due to low rental rates, but they quickly escalated. Here are some of the highlights: 1. I was over charged for pest and trash for 2 years. 2.There were constantly roaches in my kitchen, to which I was told pest control came every two weeks and I would be placed on "a list" of stops which never occurred. 3. Front office is slow to answer emails, calls and solutions to issues such as no propane in common spaces (I went and bought my own to use). 4. Kids were constantly running around in the streets leaving toys in places that could damage cars. Major Issues: 1. I had an issue with my AC unit which was not functioning, and the manager informed me that I should expect higher bills in the summer since I live on the third floor when I was trying to get my apartment to 80 degrees - yes it wouldn't go below 80 yet it was my fault my bill was outrageous. They eventually fixed the unit, and even after I tried to show bills from similar months / prior years they were unwilling to assist in paying for a bill that had tripled. 2. I was also locked out of my apartment on night due to the lock in the door no longer registering with the key. I was informed that this was not an emergency and I needed to call a lock smith or stay elsewhere that evening. Even proving via government issued ID that I was the tenant, WITH the proper key, they were unable to assist. 3. There was a fire in one of the buildings, and no information was sent to the community regarding cause or updates. We also received random emails about safety but no information as to what we should be looking out for. Maint. crew was usually fast to respond to work orders- probably the only plus to this complex besides the location.

I've lived here for over a year and a half and I'm ver pleased with my stay thus far. For the most part the people and the leasing office are nice and when you bring problems to them they resolve matters verily timely. The maintenance is great the sometimes meet your request needs the same day, but if not they get to it the next day. In my area everyone is to themselves and quite which I love. He only thing that confuses me is the pricing of utilities they seem a bit steep but overall I'm enjoying the experience

Just moved in this weekend to our newly renovated 2 bed/2 bath. So far I've had a great experience thus far with the leasing office (Angie, Asia, and Manager Shalese maybe?--don't remember). I appreciate their consistency and professionalism. No apartment complex is perfect and we had a few minor service requests upon move in, but I definitely appreciate their effort to meet our needs! I've already referred a couple of friends. Thank you guys for your hard work.

Living here for close to three years, have been reasonably good. They have made some upgrades to the common amenities like the leasing office, tennis court, gym, and car wash in the past year. A few apartments have been renovated too.

Cost wise it is better than nearby apartments. Maintenance is good. Right next to 285 and 75 interstates. Kids play area is missing.

This place is HORRIBLE, the staff can use a a customer service course. The property manager doesn't address issues and always makes excuses for their incompetence. My lease is up for renewal and I need to renew for 4 months and they are going up $257 a month for an old looking apt with no upgrades. They are comparing my apt to newer complexes in the area with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances which I have neither. I complained several times about the dirt landscaping leading to my apartment and asked for pine straw from management and was refused however, they will make it look good at the leasing office. Don't let them trick you into staying here !!!

I just moved to the community and am so far happy with the choice. The employees have all been very easy to communicate with and my place was clean. My only complaint is that maintenance needs from my intial move in inspection took about 5 days to be completed from when the office was notified.

Maintenance is usually on time, but a lot of the times they will half-fix things so they'll need to be fixed again shortly. Staff in the front office is constantly changing aside from one person. A lot of good changes since Gables took over, like repaving, repainting, and gutters. Still a lot can be improved. Would like to see community activities.

It has been horrific. We've experienced a rat entering our apartment and a very nasty air filter that was not changed in over a year and a half. I DO NOT ADVISE you stay here. Please go where maintenance staff gives a damn. Take a look at the nasty air filter they failed to change, causing my son and myself to become very sick!

The apartments are large and cheap. But I wasn't given the apartment I was told I would get because a different leasing agent gave it to someone else before I moved in. They put me in the same size apartment in a different location. The stove only has 2 eyes that work. The heating elements on the other two eyes don't stay connected when I place a heavy pot on them. The compressor on the refrigerator is so loud that it sounds like its about to explode every time it comes on. I can't even hear my TV in the living room its so loud. I've had to have the A/C serviced five times since I've been here. Now for the bad stuff. Living here has turned into a nightmare. All of my immediate neighbors are East -------. They stink up the building with their cooking. They were leaving trays of food on the ground outside. Not empty trays mind you... but trays full of meat as an offering to something. They finally had to stop that when the rats started showing up. I swear the people downstairs cook in the bathroom. You can just tell. And they are not good cooks!!! One of the other buildings burned down a few months ago. Yep their tenants were ------- too. I'm so worried that mine will be next. My downstairs neighbors also don't know how to flush a toilet. I cannot begin to tell you the times I have come home to an ungodly stench. It was so bad I had to complain to management. They sent someone to the apartment below mine, and all he did was flush the toilet and turn on the exhaust fan in the bathroom. It took a while for the odor to dissipate. This has happened several times. I know that I sound like I'm prejudice, I never had a problem with anyone until I moved here. But I think if you're going to live in an apartment complex the neighbors should at least respect the fact that they're not alone here. They don't. They've turned the complex into their own private ------. Between the hours of 6pm and 9pm.... don't even think about trying to park your car outside your apartment or move it once its parked Because the ------- basically take over the parking lot for their social club. Imagine a block party...every F***king night. They are loud as hell and they don't keep track of their kids. I had to move my car for work one day and literally had to wait for 15 minutes before anyone would move the 3-year-old on the big wheel from behind my vehicle...while his parents were standing not 10 feet away. I repeatedly asked that they move their child. Their response? "Namaste." The only reason they did move him was because I scared them. I started blowing the horn and put the car in reverse. Then they walked over and moved their child. What kind of parent is that irresponsible? I've expressed my concerns about the noise and this constant congregation in the parking lot to the apartment manager. Her response? "Well that's just the way they are, we can't tell them to behave." You're the apartment manager, if someone is doing something harmful or potentially dangerous...it's your damn job to tell them that they can't do that!!!!. If she can't fix the problem then who the hell can? As you can probably tell, I am thoroughly frustrated by my neighbors lack of respect for others, the noise, the stenches, the manager's inaction...all of it. I am moving when my lease is up. I'm totally fed up. I've had enough. This is my story...and I am telling it to help you avoid going through the same crap.
