I like it here very much. Quiet and peaceful. Pools kept up nice. I would use gym but have a membership at LA Fitness. They have a hot tub. If people could just pick up after their dogs and stop throwing cigarette butts on grass it it would be beyond perfect here.

Avonlea is a beautiful apartment complex that is walking distance to many places and is now connected to the Woodstock walkways. I enjoy the peace and quiet of my place, as well as friends at the pool. Definitely suited for all types - families, singles, older adults.

This is my first time living in an apartment. At first I was rather skeptical, I've heard the horrors of apartment life from friends and family, but afte rliving here for 1+ years I have to say. I really love it, and have enjoyed my time here.. :).

Overall, I have had a positive experience while living at The Avonlea Apartment Homes. The staff is very friendly and can be very helpful. My maintenance requests have apparently been put on the back burner in order for them to take care of bigger more important items such as replacing water heaters etc. Like I said though, the overall experience has been positive.

For the most part, I have been very happy at the Avonlea. I have lived in another community in Towne Lake that was sub-par and I wish I would have moved to the Avonlea sooner. The apartments and overall community are nice and updated. It is a luxury apartment and the prices reflect that however it is worth it.

We really do love Avonlea. A couple of negative things are parking, cleanliness on the outside of buildings such as hallways. Have seen warnings for not picking up after pets but still see not a huge improvement. We love that the pool is open year round and can go sit and enjoy on crazy warm georgia days in the winter.

I thought I would get what I pay for, and I pay a lot :( I moved into the newest phase and loved the stainless steel appliances, granite looking countertops, and the built in bookshelf design. However, the carpet barely reaches the edge of the walls, there are stress cracks in the walls that have yet to be fixed, the porch is unfinished wood with nails and paint splatter, the ac units are directly next to the bedrooms (loud), and i cannot seem to fill a whole bath with hot water before it runs cold. Very cheaply put together, but pretty at first glance.

The community that is created by the staff and residents at Avonlea is extraordinary! I could not have picked a better place to live. The whole experience has been amazing. I can see why people love to live here! I look forward to coming home every day!

Avonlea has been a great, safe place for us to live. Well taken care of and tons of great community events. Grounds are very well maintained and the two pools are great in the summer time. There is always plenty of parking too

Nice apartment for the price. Very well maintained and excellent location. Not very sound proofed. Able to hear neighbors above and below even when they go to the bathroom. Ample parking... Fitness center not the best, could have more equipment choices.

This is a beautiful community with quality apartments and pretty landscaping. The staff is very friendly and maintenance men are really nice with excellent response time. This is a great location in Woodstock, close to entertainment, dining and shopping with easy highway/freeway access. Most of the residents are very nice and really make this location feel like a community, not just somewhere you rent.

This is a wonderful community to live in. The apartments are clean and well kept, and the maintenance staff is friendly. The residents are quiet, and it's very pet friendly with its own dog park and various pet clean up stations around the complex. I have never had an issue with bugs besides the occasional wasp nest on my porch, which maintenance happily disposed of. Rent just underwent a huge jump, which was a little bit of a shock. However, you get what you pay for.

We've lived in a one bedroom (Annandale w/ Sunroom) at Avonlea for nearly a year. As our lease was winding down, we knew we'd need more space, but we didn't really want to move. After reluctantly considering other apartment properties, including visiting one we really liked, we eventually decided that no other properties offer the same value and quality that Avonlea offers. We ended up transferring our lease to another, larger apartment on the property. Avonlea Towne Lake has the best layouts and finishings, in addition to incredible amenities (2 pools, a fantastic gym, grills scattered across the complex, etc.), awesome location (takes 2 minutes or less to get on 575), well kept common areas, and great staff. We've referred two friends and are always telling others to check Avonlea out. Avonlea is a great place to call home.

I'm not sure why there are so many reviews about how "great" this complex is. In the past 2 years, I have seen a rapid decline in the upkeep of the complex. I wish I was joking when I say that I have experienced the following in the past 3 months (repeatedly): 1) Condom wrappers strewn on the ground by the landscaping (first couple buildings) 2) Consistent problems with tenants not picking up their dog waste; its rampant and disgusting. Management only circulates threatening letters with no action or ability to hold anyone accountable 3) Underage kids asking me if I have cigarettes or know where the local "party" is while they are loitering on the stairs leading to my apartment. 4) Young kids spit their gum and leave food/candy wrappers strewn on the staircases, hallways and parking lots. 5) Management consistently fails to notify tenants about maintenance done in each apartment. General letters are sent out advising that preventative maintenance will occur and that you will be notified on the exact date so that you can put away your pets. This does not happen. I was called mid-day while at work, and asked if I could leave and put up my dog because they wanted to perform maintenance activities. When advising that I could not leave work, I received an outright huff from the lady on the phone and a whiny, "Well I will see what I will do and call you back." No call back. I had to follow up with the office to discuss what their plans and scheduling were because they do not follow through with the things they say. 6) No security system for complex. My car has been dinged up and backed into by tenants, and there are no cameras to have legitimate proof to hold anyone accountable. Despite moving my car, and parking further away--this does not stop. You just get to see which tenant it could be based upon the color paint scuff left on your vehicle. Truly, this was a great complex to live in a little over a year ago. Since then, office staffing changes have occurred, which I would surmise is why upkeep and tenant service has declined. It appears that the necessary project management skills are lacking, as well as the concept of general customer service. There is no exceptional value in living here, and the caliber of tenants tend to be unsavory. I intend to depart the property when my lease expires in the next couple months.

Nice complex but illegal accounting practices and rude staff. Paid application few and left a check to be held as earnest until application was processed and we decided per the request of the staff. We were never informed that deposit was required to be processed before processing. We were literally harassed for three days to take an apartment in which we decided against due to working with our Realtor to list our home. Once we declined the apartment the staff then changed their tune and started to lie saying that we were told upfront. Non of their communication is consistent. The sales rep forgot that she left several messages contradicting what she told us. Now they are harassing us for a deposit that we declined by cutoff time per the request of the sales rep. Not only did their accountant Kathy get very nasty on the phone we were also sent a bill in the mail that was balled up before it was received at the post office. Our copy of documentation presents that their information is incorrect. We would have reconsidered after getting the house listed but the poor customer service and illegal accounting practices have forced us to change our minds. All of the harassment was to lock us in at a low price at month end. It took five days for them to process and literally harassed us to lock in after two.

We have loved living at Avonlea Towne Lake. The staff is personable, friendly, and keep everything neat and looking nice. Our apartment is cozy and quiet, and the community is enjoyable and calm. The only complaint we can think of is that it is difficult to use the gym due to a personal trainer who dominates it as her own training space. For a community that advertises a fitness facility, it is disappointing to go to the gym only to find that your workout will be cramped-if you can call it a workout at all. Needless to say, if you have a gym membership already, you will love this apartment complex. If you were hoping for a workout space, come expecting to work around training sessions.

I have had a great experience so far with my apartment. From the first day when I signed papers and all of questions were answered to any maintenace calls I had, all of the staff members have been very friendly, prompt and professional. I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone and everyone.

I have been very happy with Avonlea Towne Lake. It is a clean, safe, and engaged community. The property has quick and easy access to grocery stores and the highway. The staff has always been courteous and open helping residents with any need.

We have loved living at Avonlea at Town Lake. It is very convenient to both mine and my boyfriend's jobs.The staff is so incredibly friendly! We love the quality of our apartment and community and are looking forward to the possibility of renewing our lease.

Great they are very attentive and always check in after work has been done. if you have any questions or problems they do their best to take care of you without any question. I would truly recommend this place for anybody to try. They are very serious with their work.

I am a single girl that lives alone and works odd hours so safty and cleanliness was a must for me. I feel very safe here in the community. The gate and the well lit parking lots help alot.I have recomneded 3 friends to live here. All of which have been very pleased

I love living at Avonlea at Townelake. The grounds are beautiful and apartments are wonderful. There is a ton of storage and the floorplans are very easy to work with. Also, the staff is great and easy to communicate to. I would recommend Avonlea to everyone!

-Great apartment but lots of opportunities. -The staff can be a little snobby at times. -The trash/dumpster situation is simply not adequate for the number of residents living here. -My upstairs neighbor is an absolute nightmare; she has called the main office five on me because she says my (surround sound system) is too loud. I keep it on volume 8 our of 50 total on the night setting (front speakers only and no subwoofer). -She herself stomps all day and all night if I make a cricket sound anywhere in my apartment. -The main office would call me at 2 in the afternoon telling me that I was being too loud (without checking up on the complaint phone call). -Eventually I got a little heated by with them calling and I said look, is it illegal for me to even blast my surround sound system during this time of the day? (That is a no I check with a Police office). 10 P.M. is the courtesy time shutoff. Not to mention I was not even turning up my sound system. Anyways, sorry for the long story, they quit calling after that. -Just so everyone knows I am not a white trash individual! I make fifteen thousand dollars more than the average income in this area and have a business management degree. -Lastly, the staff appears to be so busy that they forget about your service calls, forget to call you back, and also do not relay information to maintenance staff in a timely manner.
