Great-looking community with over-priced and under-delivered features. Conveniently located within miles of fantastic community amenities; tarnished mostly by terrible, bottle-necked traffic conditions and difficult access. This community offers a lot for visual appeal and safety, although the small, glass-encompassed gym leaves a lot to be desired in both features and peace of mind at night. This community boasts a centrally-located dog park, but a small, single pool makes for little enjoyment during peak hours. Staff are mostly friendly and seemingly accommodating, however often unavailable. Maintenance have been very kind and responsive, despite several hiccups during the move-in, including apartment readiness. All-in-all, this community looks great, but the feeling only lasts as long as the walk to the front door.

Very expensive and you won't get the rent value. The rent prices keep fluctuating every month and rent is not calculated based on a fair formula. They claulcate occupany vs vacancies and adjust everyone's rent to make their profit rather than have a fixed price rent.

Legacy towns and flats has been a great community for my husband and I to have been a part of for the past year and a half. The amenities are practical and the staff have always been friendly. We have had a few maintenance concerns and they have all been met promptly and professionally. There seem to be satisfied residents in all walks of life. The location is great, as well! I highly recommend checking it out!

My experience has been great. Always have a parking spot close by, the neighborhood is very quiet. At times, I feel like I am the only person living in the community. Always feel safe- and neighbors and management have always been nice.

I love everything about Legacy! The people are friendly and well and the staff. I wish I could afford to live here by myself to be honest because I would in a heartbeat! I have made a lot of friends that I will keep in touch with if even if it have to leave. The pet policy is really reasonable and I really like that there are no breed restrictions. Everyone has a great sense of community and I believe that if something went wrong people would come together to help out their neighbors with whatever means they could. Thank you to the legacy staff and residents for making my first years in Carmel a great one!!!

The leasing staff is wonderful, as are the community amenities; everything is kept in pristine condition. It's nice having a floor plan that is unique. And I only share one wall with my neighbor! I have a feeling it will be hard to move out of the community once it's time...

I love this community! Everyone is nice and friendly! The grounds are clean, and well kept! The cafe has coffee daily! It's really a superb place to be and live! I like the interior of the apartments too, fresh and up to date. The tall ceilings are amazing! The only way it could be better is if they had elevators to the 3rd floor.

This community has so many positive things to sell it: appearance, maintenance, amenities, staff, location, price, etc. I am very happy and excited I have chosen Legacy as my home! Best place to live, we have been with Legacy for last 6 yrs, excellent location, great staff , very nice landscaping, great place for a walks, pet friendly. Only complain will be the pool area, it is very crowd now with new tenant's from new town homes.

Excellent community! I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone searching for a well located well maintained home. Maintenance is outstanding. Office staff is willing to help but the office is understaffed and sometimes you must wait for an answer.

THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE, INSTEAD A VERY VERY GOOD PLACE TO LIVE, OVERALL BEST COMMUNITY SO FAR, HAVING PROBLEM OF HARD WATER,AND NOT HAVING GAS. This community is clean, well managed and has an amazing staff. The units are very nice inside with great amenities as well. Service and maintenance requests are always handled quickly and accurately. The grounds are nice, pets are welcome and this is not a noisy area. The staff is truly the best! These apartments feel more like townhomes/condos!

Since I work and hang out mostly in downtown Indianapolis - living in Carmel was not something I seriously considered. However after having driven around the Carmel area, and in particular viewing the apartment layouts and options at Legacy T&F - my mind almost quickly changed. Places with these layout options and size are twice the cost downtown. Ultimately decided to 'suffer' through driving an extra 10 minutes to work and living in the third best city in the US (according to Money magazine). <sarcasm>Keep me in your prayers.</sarcasm>

Nice, clean complex that seems to have good amenities. Dog friendly which is a plus and apartment was very clean upon move in. Noise level is also a plus as we hear very little of our neighbors. Only real complaint is the laminate wood flooring in the kitchen is extremely cheap.

It is a beautifully maintain place! So much to enjoy! Pool , hot tub, bar b que, wifi computer access, really nice work out facility! Basketball court! Cafe! So many things ! Always having activities to get people entertained, connected and just enjoying each day! Oh and if you have a doggie? They will love it:) they have their own park! The apts. are clean and they do so much to keep it as new condition as possible! I really can't say enough! But with al the neat things it had to offer:) being a safe and quiet place has been the biggest thing I have really appreciated! All ages! New day care will be opening soon! Beautiful new houses close! Bike paths! I could go on and on ! I would definately recommend this place to anyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

We are a transitional family that has lived here for 3.5 years and have always been treated with the utmost kindness and respect from the office and maintenance staff. They are always here to help and are lightening fast with service requests! I really enjoy this community and the top-rated schools. "Most" of the neighbors are very friendly, although many are single, young professionals. The community is fairly kid-friendly. The pool is great for summer activities and we like to take the kids to the gym in the colder months to play basketball. My only wish is that they had a playground, but that may still be in the development plans.

Everyone has a awesome personality in the Leasing Office and the Maint. staff especially Brian. We are on the first floor and as far as the noise level we are somewhat dissapointed because of the noise that you hear in the guest bedroom from tenants using the stairs. Also, a bigger situation is how fast cars travel thru the community. Speed bumps would assure safety of children, our pets and ourslves. As a community of Legacy we need to petition for a street light at the entrance off of 146th St. That entrance especially in the evening is dangerous to enter onto 146th St.

This is a great community for many reasons. The management is very friendly and helpful. One major issue is that there is dog poop everywhere. Many do not pick up after. Work day begins with sighting of freshly laid poop. Kids can't play free.

It has been a really rough start. Staff dropped the ball twice regarding timely washer and dryer installation. This has been remedied. There were small black worms throughout the living room area. This has been treated. We'll see if it takes care of the problem.

Having moved here from California, the rent for apartments here are way more reasonable than California. The apartments, I don't know how old they are, are in good shape. If you live on the first floor though, you will constantly be finding bugs in your apartment (worms, spiders, etc.) probably because of the "weather".
