Do not live here will screw you at every turn

This apartment complex is a joke they charge you for every little thing. They told us that we could not afford to live here anymore after a year and a half of no late rent and then charge us once they kicked us out with four days notice charge us for an extra month rent Because we didn’t give them notice that they were kicking us out. This place is a joke they will not work with us at all. They have zero compassion for what they did to us.

I've only been here for a few months, but the staff are excellent and the property is beautiful. I love my apartment! The units have high ceilings and are very well insulated against sound - I almost never hear my neighbors.

Don't bother

You couldn't pay me enough to move back to this place. While you're living there, it's great. Until the office finds an opportunity to charge you money. Then they'll take every penny they can find any excuse to take from you. I got charged hundreds of dollars after I moved out because a "professional" said the apartment smelled strongly of pet urine and there were urine spots all over the apartment. Over 10 people who were in and out of my apartment said that it never smelled like urine or had any odor whatsoever. They were also in the process of cleaning and painting the apartment when this inspection supposedly took place, so how could he have smelled a "strong" urine odor anyway? And the stains that showed up under a blacklight? Some of them were in places my cat was never allowed or that were where furniture was. I requested all of the photos, and you can clearly see the bathroom door handle did not match the door knob that was there just 3 days prior when I had moved out. Why would they have replaced the door knob? And if they were replacing door knobs, why do it while you're painting? Seems odd to me. In one photo, you can clearly see the washer had been moved across the floor like they were replacing it. Laundry detergent glows under blacklight. Detergent easily could have gotten from the washer to the carpet when they moved it causing a glow. But does Windsor Oaks want to accept that? No because they can't charge for it then! If they were painting and paint dripped onto the carpet, that would also glow. I even bought my own blacklight and went over my new apartment with it. Guess what? Absolutely nothing on the carpet and I still have the same cat. Do yourself a favor, save yourself hundreds of dollars and go live somewhere else.

Windsor Oaks has an amazing community with upscale apartments that are close to everything! The apartments are spacious, have updated amenities, and I love the high rise ceilings! It's also nice to be close to shopping centers! So convenient! I love it here!

The staff is amazing. The apartments are quite nice. The maintenance team is prompt and very respectfully of your living space while they are in your apartment. I have had no issues with the staff, apartment, or amenities. I just have one crazy neighbor that is a nuisance, but that has nothing to do with the property itself and does not speak to the quality of the other residents, as everyone else I have met has been great.

Very clean and peaceful. If anything needed fixed, no wait at all. Our dishwasher repaired next day. I am hoping that we will have an easy transition to renew. Our plan is to maintain residency here. Staff is friendly and efficient. Sad to see some leave.

The staff is always welcoming. They are always having different events happening to bring the community together like food trucks, to go breakfasts and cookies with Santa, etc. We have no complaints since moving in. The community is quiet and still close to a lot of shopping and food areas.

It's a great community with friendly, responsive staff. Any maintenance issues I've had have been dealt with promptly. Office staff helped me fill out the paperwork needed for my cat. Sidewalks are always sholved when it snows.

A maintenance member, ----, who is very combative and acts as if she wants to fight-invariant body mannerisms- is routinely seen leaving ------------- following undeserved excessive noise, which adversely pushed me to install surveillance cameras to improve their existence on a given day to now their use of signal (illegal) jammers used to misinterpret each camera usage (footage). I enjoy my home, ---------------, but dislike the antics of the resident in ----, his family, his friends, ----, and her mother (resident of ----). I am trying everything I can to honor my lease agreement (i.e., by following Indiana State Tenant's Rights and Windsor Oaks Apartment property guidelines) and respect my neighbors. I do not want my lease terminated due to others' biases and inappropriate daily antics. Regarding maintenance, I have requested the service of ---- (maintenance supervisor) when a work order request is submitted to avoid coming in contact with ----- at all costs. In the two years that I have been here, Windsor Oaks staff has been wonderful. Any problems that I have ever had, which has been very limited, they are there to help however they can ensure it is addressed. Everyone has wonderful communication and the maintenance staff is so sweet and kind.
