Everyone at the complex is great! I like how nice everyone is and there isn't any problems with trash or anything you would typically get at an apartment complex. The rent is a tad high but it keeps riffraff out and that's better than high rent!

Very friendly office staff who arranges fun community activities for us all. Great amenities and overall a quiet community. Some louder cars/jeeps are around lately, but overall, noise level normal. We love our apartment and location.

Community is safe and quiet. The office staff does help with issues as long as you are polite to them. Apartments are nice and maintenance staff works in a timely manner. Rent had raised too much and projected raises are much higher than any other facility around. Complex could use some updating here and there to justify the rent increase.

The office staff and maintenance are very helpful and knowledgeable. Everything is very clean and well maintained and it shows. Pool was kept open past Labor Day this year which was a huge bonus with the warm weather we were experiencing

Property is the absolute best in the area. A little costly now that everything has gone up but it's worth it for what you get. The office staff is absolutely the best very helpful and professional. Laura the office manager is very caring about your needs and always willing to help. They send out alerts promptly from a missing pet to closing early due to incline weather. The property is a very safe environment. I highly recommend this property.

Apartment is nice, pool is nice, office staff needs work. Water at this place is awful. I'm not home much so I have to run the water for 20 minutes to get rid of the smell. Haven't had any other problems other than office staff and water smell

Apartments are very nice, however it is very expensive. I was able to get a garage as well and it is very nice. Office staff are all very nice. Close distance to plenty of dinner options and right off the highway.

I love living here. Apartments are big and nicely decorated. Grounds are always clean and clubhouse/pool area is gorgeous! Definitely the nicest complex in Valparaiso! Plenty of walking and biking trails around.

Not worth the cost by any means. Parking is a nightmare, downstairs neighbors shake my whole unit when they close their door. With the exception of two..maybe three (on a good day)..office staff girls are rude & have condescending tones. Walls are thin, for 2,000 a month I heard way less noise elsewhere for less money.

The Lakes of Valpo is a wonderful community. Year round they host events to bring everyone together. All Leasing and Maintenece staff is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and extremely helpful. I highly recommend to consider this as your future home.

The noise of my neighbor who recently moved in is bothering me. It does get quiet after 11:00pm almost case, so for me it's not too much of an issue, but I think it's detrimental for people who go to bed early. I think it's better to bring them to attention. Also, if possible, it would be convenient for me if you could install a water faucet in the garage. I have a problem with dust when I clean in the garage. It's easy to wash off with water, but I can't do that now.

Management was almost always rude to me. Before I moved in I lived out of town. I had my family member look at these apartments for me in person and they know I am very keen on my security. These buildings have cameras at the doors where the security lock is and let me tell you now, they're "fake". I thought a package was stolen from the doorway so I went to the office to see if they or I could look at the cameras and that's when I got the unfortunate news. I was so devastated because I take my security seriously. When I said my issue with that the first thing they told me was, "well it's not in the contract". I had a 1 bed 1 den, which is considered a 1 bedroom for $1,400 a month. Why did the rooms not come with ceiling lights? Oh, and if you want them installed (which you have to buy on your own) from maintenance, it's $45 a light. So $90 for installation and the cheapest light fixtures I found were at Menards for $30. The final straw for me was that I had friends, family, and whoever pick up packages for me in the front office. Around Christmas time I had my friend go in there and pick up a package for me, under my last name. Months and Months go by and the friend got something sent to my address by accident. They told me to have her come in and get the package because it's under her name. When she goes to get the package they say that she came in there before picking up a package under HER last name (basically insinuating she stole a package that wasn't hers) and proceeded to ask if she still had it. They did address that it was their fault for giving her the wrong package but wanted to see if she still had it. Mind you, she's gotten a package sent to my address on accident before and they sent that package with her last name back immediately. She never even went to receive the package from the office. This means the package she was holding in the security footage had my last name on it. I hope you take your search elsewhere. This place isn't worth it.

Lakes of Valparaiso was the first place we decided to tour and our last!! We knew from the moment we pulled in that this is where we wanted to live. The fact that it is dog friendly was a major plus for us! The staff are super welcoming and very helpful?We have only been there a short time but I don't see us moving anytime soon.

The apartments are clean and spacious! The amenities ie pool, gym, etc are very nice too. The only thing that I would change is to have covered parking for everyone. It would be nice especially in the winter!
