My apartment is an updated one that was poorly remodeled and needed a lot of fixes. The maintenance takes forever and neighbors are loud. The property is well-maintained on the outside, but not very well lit. It is a nice area though.

I am a long time resident of this property having resided in 3 different apartments. The management has not been stable since Zach left . Same for maintenance. The property is not properly maintained---- when are the stairs going to be replaced?

At first I really liked the apartment complex as a whole, but over the last 3 years management has constantly changed...each with different "nag" items to focus on and there isn't consistency. It's impossible to reach someone in the office, even after multiple voicemails. They respond after an angry email is sent, which is poor customer service. Maintenance now takes 2-4 weeks to respond to tickets when it used to be a day or two. Amenities (ie computer to print) aren't available to us. It's just frustrating. I don't think I will renew when my lease is up and I've been here over 3 years now.

Originally great living here but last 2 yrs seems community has steadily downgraded in looks of property and lack of management. No steady management in two years has lead to people being allowed to move in who just don't care about the home the live in or their neighbors i.e. loud music from cars driving through parking lot, people coming and going during the middle of the night, maintenance requests not being fulfilled--we have floor planks that glue has failed on and has been reported, maintenance came and took pics to report to mgmt, but that was 4 wks ago and no respone to fix the tiles yet

Everyone has been very friendly to my wife and me. Maintenance issues has been dealt with promptly on most occasions. We like that it is a non-smoking campus. This keeps things smelling better and more clear. I suppose the only thing I would wish was better are the front steps are a little steep. But that is okay. The railing that was broken has been fixed and I can use it.

Worst Maintenance experience. Struggling since last 3 years to get the Humidity issue fixed in my Apartment. Property manager has no Professionalism or is very rude in responding. She will ask you if not satisfied than go leave the community.

Great sqft/dollar. Well maintained yards and parking. Smart home tech and keyless entry works perfect. Excellent response time on calls and emails, usually within the hour. Very fast response to emergency matiance, heater was stuck on and fixed within the hour. Another positive, matiance waited on site to test before leaving . Very slow follow up on non-emergency matiance. Washer has been out since 1/30 and it just got the part ordered 2 weeks ago, 2/24. Still waiting for it to come in. Washer racks have needed changed out since December. Only received 1 in January, the other is still rusting and breaking.

I love living here even though I have had a ton of water issues. Most of these issues have been handled quickly as well as other maintenance items. However, since the pandemic, my maintenance issues have not been handled. I have asked numerous times for my carpet to be fixed (trip hazard) since the fall of 2020. It is a 5-minute fix for the carpet folks who I am sure are here on site regularly. I have also asked several times for a toilet ring to be replaced. 2 maintenance workers have been to see it in the past two months, but I still have not heard anything. In all the time I have lived here, this is the only issue with maintenance I have ever had.

I lived here almost two years. The staff are always very helpful, the property is well maintained and maintenance staff have responded quickly to address problems I've reported. I would recommend these apartments to my friends.

We've had no AC all summer. Just in the last few weeks we've had 2 outside AC units installed (instead of fixing the AC unit inside the building). Maintenance men have installed these outside AC units into the windows of two bedrooms, very poorly might I add. We've now got spiders due to this. Simply enough, if you can't do a job properly, don't do the job at all.

-----, the Assistant Property Manager was the beginning when we first started looking as we flew in to find a place to live and only had a few days. She was so friendly and helpful in showing us the apartment which we eventually leased that afternoon. We had looked at many places in the surrounded areas but she explained the advantage of living here and convinced us that this is where we should begin our experience in Kansas. We have a two bedroom and the size and the cost could not be more perfect. It is clean and fresh and we love the open concept. When you come inside you would not feel like you are living in apartment. One of main features we like about the location which ----- told us about as we are right Next door to Shawnee mission State Park. We took a drive there just before we leased our place and was determining factor also to live here. This is a great place to live, the people are great, the neighbors are friendly...you could not ask for a more welcoming place to live.

It is a beautiful neighborhood with lots of fun things to do. The apartments are good sized and very well thought out. We love the one we live in. The only down side is the noise from the highway but you get use to it. We have a community garden as well as a cute little creek. It's a nice place to take a stroll with your kids or a pet. Not to mention it is an affordable place to live!

This place is a gem. You will have a hard time finding a space as large and as well maintained as you get here for the price anywhere else. We have have lived in 2 different units here for a consecutive 5 years on the property and have had a great experience!

Things change with administration. Several managers have come and gone in 4 years. Current Manager, ??There is a difference between a person that understands relationships and one who doesn't. Current Apartment Manager has no clue. Current manager is a typical collegiate matriculated young person that has obtained knowledge of theory without practice. Subordinates keep customer service etiquette while general manager treats residents as if they were indentured servants. Serious socio-economic polity with current management.

Its been decent. We have seemed to have an ongoing issue with office staff accountability. For example, if we submit a service request or basic questions, there is a delay or it gets forgotten about. That's been our biggest concern

Everyone at the office is very nice, and they work hard to learn your name. One of the newer office employees said it was his second day, and he'd already memorized everyone's name (including mine, and that was the first time we'd met). Maintenance is always super prompt and super nice. Love the layout and the customize-ability of the apartments, very easy to make into a home. It's definitely an apartment complex that communicates mostly through email (not fliers on doors), so it's important to check email for upcoming construction/events.

Parking lot could use serious work. Sidewalks are finally getting better. Maintenance is very professional and friendly. Trash pick up is nice and convenient however, some residents place trash out the night before.

I like living at Park Edge. At first, maintenance was super slow to fix things (like 5 days), but I think they are slowly getting better. Also, I like that we have curbside pickup for trash, and pest control. We have quiet neighbors and a nice updated apartment, which was well done. All of the staff work hard to keep and update the grounds. They just need to update the steps and get more parking lot lighting next!

My experience has been average. The location is about the only thing we really enjoy and that's just because it's close to Shawnee Mission Park. Other than that, there's not much else that's been great. I feel like there's ALWAYS some sort of construction going on that ends up affecting something of ours whether that's even less parking than there already is because they're doing construction on the parking lot of me having to wait 5 minute to even go up the stairs to my apartment because they've got guys doing construction in front of them and won't let them by. We also had a negative experience with our leasing agent when we were first moving in where their reply times were extremely long and we were often lost on what we needed to do. We also had a noise complaint from a neighbor at 3 in the afternoon in which I felt the front office handled VERY poorly in warning us or letting us know what was happening.

I had a very rough time during move in time. A person from the office called said that I could move in early but the apartment was not move in ready, there is still paint all over the floor, there were nails in the carpet, like if someone scattered them on the floor. The office did help some.

This complex has nice community and attributes. The gym is not state of art and services are lacking at times. Windows and appliances are old and dated. They attract a good crowd here though and it is a prime location.
