Horrible
All I can say is horrible. Front Office does not care about any issues. All they want is there rent. If you have a problem they will break your lease and make you pay the remainder. They let druggies and section 8 live there. The noise is unreal. The bottom floor apartments have serious bug issues

A Happy Camper!
I'm surprised to read some of these comments because I have never had a negative experience here. I have found the staff (maintenance and office) to be very knowledgable and accomodating.I requested to have my carpet changed and they did it for me (and quickly, too). I'm happy here and plan to stay!!

not at all worth the money
WEYMOUTH COMMONS IS A BIG RIP OFF. FIRST OF ALL IT TOOK ALMOST $4000 (AND YOU ONLY GET A SMALL FRACTION OF IT BACK) JUST TO MOVE IN TO A DULL POOR EXCUSE FOR AN APARTMENT. THE MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE STAFF ARE MISERABLE UNCARING PEOPLE. THE AC UNIT WAS FROM THE 70S, ONE OF THE MAITENANCE STAFF EVEN ADMITTED THAT TO ME. I HAD THEM FIX IT 5 TIMES BEFORE THEY EVEN CONSIDERED TO GIVE ME A DIFFERENT ONE. THE PEOPLE ARE IGNORANT AND THEY HAD MY MOVING TRUCK TOWED WHILE I WAS BRINGING MY STUFF TO MY APARTMENT. THE OFFICE WOULD NOT REFUND THE $100 IT TOOK TO GET IT BACK EVEN THOUGH I EXPLAINED THE SITUATION.I COULD GO ON FOREVER ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. IF ANYONE IS THINKING ABOUT MOVING HERE PLEASE KEEP LOOKING. ITS NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE.

I lived in Weymouth Commons for a year. My experience with the management has been horrible. If you have a refundable deposit that you gave at the time of renting the apartment, you probably are not going to get that back. The employees working in the management office are irresponsible.

Terrible...LUXURY APARTMENTS WITH RATS, ROACHES and MITES INCLUDED!
Weymouth commons is a DISGUSTING experience. People steal others'packages and the units have rats, cockroaches and mites. Corchoran management only wants money, they threatened to evict me if I didnt pay, even after I reported the insect infestation. They don't give a damn and the office staff is dreadful. Don't waste your money, Mediterranean Woods right next door is same price and I think MUCH better.

Maybe things have changed, but I liked it there
I moved out of Weymouth Commons in January of 2005 because I bought a condo, so I can't speak to how things are at the current time, but I was satisfied with my experience there.

The apartments are roomy and well-maintained. My experience was that, if I left a message on the maintenance line in the morning, by the time I got home the problem was fixed.

The staff was always friendly and courteous. Unlike one of the other reviewers, I had an extremely positive experience on move-out. I was originally supposed to move out in September of 2004. I gave the required 60 days notice and crossed my fingers. Due to construction delays, I had to revise this date with management multiple times. Each time they were very pleasant and cooperative.

I would definitly recommend Weymouth Commons.

Not worth it!
When I first moved into Weymouth Commons I thought it was great. I didn't have any problems with loud noises or parking. Then I had someone move in next to me. You can hear everything that is going on in the apartments next door and across the hall. Every conversation and noise - trust me! Which means that everyone can hear my conversations and noises!! I also feel the class of people living here is low. I have had no problem with maintenance because I've fixed everything myself - the management made a joke when I moved in "We will still like you as long as you don't bug us with problems" - Thanks! When my lease is up I am finding a new place to live!

No problems yet!!!
I moved in in October 2004 and have not had any problems. I am a city girl originally so maybe that's why I can deal with minor things. I love my two bedroom apartment/2brs. I have a two year old son who loves the pool. Maintainence is a little slow, but most are. The staff has always be quite helpful and friendly to me and my family. Parking in front of your complex can be hard, but I always get parking and that's okay. Everything in the demo apartment was just the same except a extra air conditioner/and microwave. I wish more playgrounds for small children and better lighting. No complaints yet from me.

Looks are decieving
The parking here is unassigned, so if you work past 5 pm your pretty much out of luck with parking. We lived towards the lower level & had to constantly park on upper level parking lot. Not good, & VERY inconvenient! The office staff is very helpful & friendly when you move in...then act like your inconveniencing them & very rude if you have any questions after! Maintenance is a complete joke. It takes FOREVER for them to fix something...& when they do have time to come fix you've already a.) fixed it yourself b.) problem is not a problem anymore - or c.) worst possible time to come & fix said problem. Please do yourself a favor & rent somewhere else!!

Average
I lived here for 4 years. The noise problem started to get worse as the quality of people moving in dropped every year. Some apartments had so many occupants sharing a 2 bed room. My newspaper was stolen so many times I had to cancel my subsription. The management didn't want to negotiate my rent, even though similiar units were being rented out cheaper to newcomers so I moved out.The maintenance was good, only had one small problem in 4 years and they apoligized promptly for taking too long to fix a problem. The buildings are well kept. The location is convenient.

No guarantee of apartment
Weymouth Commons was very disappointing to me. I had arranged to have a studio apartment for which I paid a down posit for. 10 days before I was to move in I was told that the studio was no longer available and that I would have to wait 2 more months before there was one available. They also refused to give me back my down posit claiming that the studio was no guarantee.

Dont bother
The nice landscaping is deceiving. The walls and ceilings are very thing and obviously not insulated from each other. Neighbors conversations are no secret. The class of people living there is very low and managment doesnt seem to care about their filthy, inconsiderate habits despite letters. Things left in hallways like furniture, papers and trash laying out around mailbox area, trash left thru stairwells. The one small elevator isnt big enough for moving either. For what you get - way to expensive.

Weymouth Commons is bad
Weymouth Commons is awful. The management staff is rude and unorganized. We told them we were moving, but changed our minds and gave them the written notice saying that we were staying and yet they tried to rent out our apartment still. Neighbors play loud music at all hours or talk on the phone so loud you can hear them in your own apartment. People screech around in their cars. Every other day something in the apartment falls apart and if you work past 6 at night you can not find a parking spot to save your life. They do not plow at all. I had my car get stuck. Very bad place to live.

Not bad but not great.
Maintenace is OK. There are a couple of workers who are nice and there are others that are rude and not willing to help. Plowing was horrible. I could not go to work one Sunday because the parking lot was not plowed and maintenance did not return calls to let us know when to expect the plows to be there. They are slow to replace burnt lightbulbs in public areas and as is the entire property could use better lighting.

There is a problem with showers especially in the mornings where warm water will suddenly get cold for a few seconds and go back to warm. This happens multiple times during a shower and I have yet to take a full shower in the morning without that happening.

In the summer there are alot of bugs that manage to find their way into the buildings and the apartments.. especially moths.

The windows and doors are VERY drafty, even with heat all the way up there were still some very chilly nights. Maintenance is aware of this problem but I don´t think they care enough to insulate better.

Fitness center is a joke. A few times there were kids playing in there and the machines are always broken.

The front office is disorganized and they send letters that are not accurate or fail to send other letters that are important. The only friendly person in the office is a blond lady Karen.

Overall: Maintenance of the property and rental office customer service could use improvement. The actualy apartments are nice, good sizes and for the most part it is a quiet place to live except for the fire alarms sounding every so often.

Bad maintenance and management
I moved to this apt. in 1999 and was better till 2000. The management is very rude and the apts. are very badly maintained. People moving over these days here are of low class, rents very from person to person as the management is real messy. I am looking out.

I do not recommend this place for decent living. Look for better places.

Great Place to Live
I have lived at Weymouth Commons for 3 years now and have no complaints. It´s a very quiet place. Landscape is beautiful!! Management and maintenance are there if you have any questions or concerns. A couple of repairs were needed and maintenance responded promptly and repaired them. The building I live in are all working people. Our neighbors are very pleasant. It´s a great place to live!!!

One of the Junk Managment
I lived here from 2001-2002.
Two things suck here 1. Bugs and 2. Rob (Manager).

There are no rules. Whom ever Rob likes he will give discounts and whom ever he dont like he will tell to vacant the apartment or will create a situation to vacant the apartment. There are lots of families living in with kids in a single bedroom apartment.
and Managment doesnt care about them even though they know that.

Rules changes from person to person.

Sick of weymouth commons and Sick of Rob.
You be the judge!
So far, I´m pleased with Weymouth Commons. I live in a quiet building. The people seem friendly. People from different backgrounds live in the building. The building is well kept. The floor that I live on is very clean.

I haven´t had any problems with the appliances. It´s conveniently located next to the highway. Shopping malls are about 5 minutes away. When I moved in all I had to come up with is a $500 deposit plus one months rent. Believe me, that was a big help. You can´t please everybody! You be the judge!

Run Forrest, Run
Weymouth Commons is very deceiving. When one first arrives it appears nice. It is only after one moves in they see what they have gotten themselves into. The quality of neighbors deteriorates as the rent increases. The neighbors play very loud music late into the night (weekdays included). Many of the new neighbors live 4 to a bedroom. Loud cars playing loud music race around the parking lot through out the night. The quality of fixtures is something out of a 1970’s tenement housing project. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was originally built as a housing project. Run Forest, RUN…….

Great Place To Call Home
I think Weymouth Commons is a great place to live. I really like it´s location, it´s close to everything. I also like the beautiful new kitchen in my apartment. The appliances are all brand new. I also find the rent fair considering it includes most utilities. I would definetly recommend this place to a friend.

Don´t waste your time!!
Although it may look like a nice place to live, remember that looks can be deceiving! The apartment itself is nice, but nothing special. Great if you like looking at all white walls and floors! My real problem with this place is the rediculous increase in rent! Rent is already high, but it went up two hundred dollars in the nine months we were here! Plus you are required to give an insane sixty days notice to leave which makes it almost impossible to find another place to move to or to save money to do it! The other problem with this place is that although they do notify that maintenance will be coming to your apartment, they don´t knock at all when they do! Several times I had people just walk into my apartment, once with my boyfriend in his underwear!! The people in the rental office aren´t always kind to deal with either! Overall, I would say find another place to live, you will be much happier!!

Not worth it!!
This Place is a dump! The apartments have bugs, the neighbors are all low class, the rental agency staff is rude, ignorant and worthless. They do nothing to help tennants. The show a beautiful apartment and then when you move in, but your apartment looks nothing like that. The appliances are outdated and in terrible conditions. This place is way too expensive. You could find something much better than this dump.
