I am writing to voice my serious concerns about The Renaissance Club and most of them are to do with the quality of the apartments and the outrageous charges that occur upon move out. First of all, the pet fees. Every apartment complex I have lived in in this country offers a refundable pet deposit based off of pet damage. If the pet damages, your deposit decreases. This community does not offer that, it is a non-refundable pet deposit. This is not ideal, but if the apartment complex is using this money to go towards damages in your apartment it can be useful. However this is not the case. Every apartment that has pets they automatically will charge you to replace the carpet. So the 375 you give for each pet does not help to cover this automatic charge. I just turned in my keys and asked what the 375 for each pet goes towards. "It's just the cost for having a pet". ?? What?? I paid 50$ a month to "have a pet". So you are charging residents a monthly pet fee to have a pet and also take a 375$ non refundable pet deposit that goes towards the apartment complexes personal use? That is unheard of in this country as far as pet deposit policies go and is outrageous. God forbid you have 2 pets. 750$ non refundable that you are just "giving away" and won't even help you towards a carpet replacement that is replaced whether their is damage done to it or not? I had a leak come from my ceiling at the foot of my stairs. I called maintenance about the issue half a year ago. They came to the apartment, drilled a huge hole in my ceiling, and stapled a piece of plaster board over the top of it. They said they needed time to see if the leak got worse and to monitor it before they properly repaired the hole. They never ever came back. I took a picture before I moved out, plasterboard is still there stapled to the ceiling. It looked horrible and was embarrassing having friends over it looked so ridiculous. So they can come to my apartment, bash a hole in my ceiling and not repair it but I have to pay to replace the carpets after I have given hundreds of dollars to this complex to have one cat. Also, when I moved in, there was a chunk of laminate missing off the counter top side. I reported this, and maintenance said they would order a replacement piece. Never happened. I have taken pictures of everything because I am so sure they are going to start charging me for things they haven't fixed which they were legally obligated to do. I came back from vacation once and found my cat locked in the bathroom, because maintenance had come in while I was gone and taken a piss in my toilet and locked her in accidentally. She got so stressed she tried to claw her way out under the door. This experience has been so unpleasant and im sure after they read this I will have more additional charges added in to spite me. Hands down the most unprofessional leasing company I have ever worked with.

A friend told me about this community and my daughter and I decided to check out the community. We like it. It's convenient for my daughter and I to commute to work, shopping and family. We only been here for 5 days now and everything is lovely just getting home together.

This community is very clean the staff is so helpful specially Mrs Centura she is very professional , I always meet her at the office , ready to help , also appreciate that they call me right away when they receive any package , courtesy patrol is so quick and helpfull .

I have enjoyed living at the renaissance club! They staff are all friendly, and they maintain their grounds. I will say that I have more recently been dealing with insects in area of the apartment by the windows. This is due in part to my apartment being located on the ground level (2 bedroom apartments- have direct access from the outside; rather than entering into an apartment building first). The maintenance have been diligent about coming to take preventative measures, and things have been getting better. I would definitely recommend the renaissance club apartments to anyone! I'm just running out of space...lol.

From day one, office staff has been very friendly and extremely helpful. The apartment itself has worked well for our family. The rent is the best deal we have been able to find in the area, especially with all of the included amenities. Maintenance is very responsive and friendly. The community is well-maintained and we really have enjoyed the community sponsored-events

I love,Love,Love living at The Renaissance Club Apartment and the customer services is great! The Renaissance Club is a great place to live, but I have to leave due to increase in rent for their one bedroom apartment. If your looking for a great place to live and can afford it, Go for it!

I recently moved to the Renaissance Club community and so far I am pleased. The washer and dryer in the unit is very convenient, although they could be slightly larger. Everything was clean when I arrived and they even paint an accent wall for free.

Overall the community is great. Few neighbors are problematic/intrusive. New neighbors just moved in, sound like they're performing a step show each night. But overall, I enjoy living here. Convenient to most locations in the city. Hopefully, the shopping center will be revamped, so the community doesn't become a food desert.

I have only lived at the Renaissance Club for a few months. I find it to be a nice place to live. The cost of my apartment is reasonably and the apartments are clean and well maintained. The grounds are also well kept and lighting around the buildings make the complex seem safe. The staff in the leasing are exceptionally nice. Resident service is excellent. Maintenance problems are resolved very quickly. I would like to thank Kevin in the service office because he is always polite and always send maintenance as soon as your request is sent in. The maintenance staff including Jamal, Barry and Tom are very efficient and always complete whatever maintenance problem you report. Sorry if I didn't mention everyone by their name. My only issue is that some of our neighbors are not considerate of others especially late at night. They vacuum all hrs of the night, move furnitures around, hammer things on the walls and talk loud on the stairs and slam doors at 2:30am . This is a very nice place to live just try to be more considerate of your neighbors

I have been living here for approximately two years. I lived in the hunt valley area for nine years. The comparison between the two are very close. This management staff and office staff are always polite. Every year they have plenty events and family activities for the community to get together and meet one another. The community is very diverse and most neighbors are extremely pleasant. It is a small quiet community. We are located close to bus lines food markets and restaurants . We have a pool and exercise room. I am proud to be a resident here. I would not hesitate to tell my friends and family to move into this community. They care about there residents. Just recently we had a record breaking snow storm. Not only did they have contractors out shoveling and digging. But the maintenance staff and office staff were out as well assisting. Our community was better serviced that most I have seen. They cleaned the lots and side walks. They also dug out cars that were buried under snow and ice. That's just a testimony of how they care for their residents. I love it here and if their townhouses had basements I probably would never move.

Sweet jesus where do I begin. First off, let me just say that based on my profession which involves live weapons and ammunition being in my house I was not expecting "random inspections' done when I am not in the apartment. I am talking about inspections and surprise visits by maintenance men which leave absolutely no privacy in your apartment and it is just so awkward to say the least. Also, they will (and i am not kidding) leave notes in your apartment telling to to tidy up if there are even a coupe dishes in the sink. Yes, really. However, that just is the scratching the surface. This place is shoddily put together. When you first view, it all looks decent and clean and new and once you move in you'll find just how cheap everything is. They don't even use primer for their paint jobs, they literally slap a new coat on whenever someone new moves in and it will scuff so easily. Terrible when you are paying for so called 'feature walls'. They do not monitor the parking like they claim. Anyone can park there. The parking lots are always full by the end of the night and you will be lucky to find street parking near your apartment. Now onto the management and the moving out process. Oh lord where do I begin with THAT. I was charged for the ENTIRE laminate flooring to be 'replaced' when there was absolutely no damage done by me. There was a buckle in the flooring by the oven (this can happen due to the adhesive of the laminate coming unglued by the heat of the oven) and they claim it was pet damage done by my cat! A buckle from UNDERNEATH the laminate.. an air pocket.. was supposedly caused by my cat. These people will scam you for any money they can get. The manager is the worst manager in the history of management. I have called about 8 times, left countless voicemails and am now bordering on legal action because this woman will not return my phone calls. I am trying to come to a resolution about the flooring charge and she refuses to even speak with me. They charged me 1100 dollars worth of damages on top of the deposit they already had when there were no damages. Be warned, they will remove negative reviews to cover up some of the common complaints people leave on these sites. This is by far the worst apartment community I have ever had the stress of dealing with. I would highly advise people against moving here. The upset and stress it has caused has been the worst of my life. I cannot emphasize this enough.

Let me start by saying the renaissance club is a amazing place to live it's warm and welcoming the staff are polite and helpful the community is kept clean and it's very quiet it's also close and convenient to malls and shops the service is outstanding ;)

I am very satisfied with my apartment! I don't even know where to begin! Ok first. I feel safe knowing that there is constant security patrol. Also, the layout of the apartment is so nice. The staff are welcoming and professional and if you have any problems, they are always swift in making sure that it is solved. Thank you, for making my first apartment experience a great one!

With general concerns, they will respond in a good timeframe yet the issues will persist and return at a later time. Major issues, its concerning. They do a good job at ensuring the common areas are nice. They have difficulty reviewing and evaluating that there have been issues consistently happening and trying to find a solution on their end before blaming you as the resident. Other than that, the staff have been very nice.

Horrible experience. Manager does not care about its residents. I had mold issue and was blamed for it. I wish I never moved here. Also had mice problems. Would not recommend this apartment to anybody. Learned my lesson.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.

I love my Apartment. I have lived here going on 5 years now and I love it. Originally I only intended on staying here 1 year but I loved it so much I'm still here. The grounds are always well managed and monitored by security. The resident service staff is consistently courteous, polite, and efficient. I was flabbergasted when I walked in one day and they said hello Branden. They actually took the time out to learn my name. One thing I really love about resident service is how fast they get problems resolved with my apartment. Once I had an issue with my bathtub. I went to the office asked them to look at it and went directly home. By the time I got back to my apt a service guy was at the door to meet me and the next day I got a call to make sure the work was done to my standards! and even if there isn't any issues I get a call every month or so just to make sure everything is ok!!!! Like seriously how could you not love living here?????

I just moved into this apartment on September 30th. Overall I have had a great experience. Other than my wooden floor and my bathroom not being 100%. i am happy where i am at. i would recommend this community to my friends and family. great work

The property is clean, pleasant to look at. The staff is as plesant and very upbeat. I like the fact that they listen to you in order to help you with what it is that you want in accordance to what they offer. They are on point with maintenance and keeping up the property. providing you with the best service possible.

I had been searching for an apartment for a couple of months. I researched many different places and visited nearly a dozen different places. When I stopped in to the Renaissance Club's office I was immediately impressed with the staff. They were efficient, informative, and courteous. When they showed me one of the units here, I felt that it wasn't just an apartment living space but rather a home.

Landscape is great. Staff give false information and seem too be a tad rude. Kitchen looks great. Was told I'll have carpet everywhere, only have it on the bed rooms. Shower is only hot for 8 minutes. Blinds seemed to relatively old and dirty..

The leasing office staff has been so accommodating and helpful, I feel like a valued tenant here. My apartment was spotless upon move in. They have security patrol the area after dark so I always feel safe. I love the large windows and amenities.

I just moved in a couple of weeks ago and I love it. I am a very picky person when it comes to renting an apartment. I love the washer and dryer in my apartment. The maintenance is great as well as the staff. I definitely recommend The Renaissance! club!

I lived here from June 2013-July 2015. And I have nothing but positive things to say about this property. The staff is wonderful. There is not one person who I have ever had a bad encounter with. They are ALL very pleasant and they are always hosting fun events for residents. They also take your packages so they don't have to be left at your front door. I've always felt safe in my apartment and have seen security walking the property frequently. I have never seen a mouse in my apartment, only ants and when I called they had someone out immediately to fix. The maintence team is very good and fast. There was an issue where my building did not have water, they personally went out and made sure I had gallons of fresh water to use. They have a gym and pool on property to use, which is hardly every crowded. I only moved because I had to relocate to another area, otherwise I would still be a resident!

The staff has been very helpful and understanding so far. I haven't completely moved in but I appreciate the help I've received so far. The welcome package I received was very nice and I like that the apartments offer the accent wall. The walk-through was great and the staff helped in making sure everything was properly working before they left the apartment.
