My experience here at The Evergreens in Laurel has been very pleasant!! Management is very polite, even when discussing issues or complaints! Maintenance is very prompt upon request! The best of all is that there are no rodents!! This property does an excellent job at making sure our units are treated upon request indoors, and always treated on the parameters of the apartments. My only suggestion would be to increase the number of visitor parking spots in the front of each building, and decrease the number of visitor spots that are not conveniently located near the buildings. I'm almost positive there are a lot of residents that would find that helpful! Overall thank you for being such a stellar complex to live in over the past year! I am looking forward to renewing my lease here potentially when its up! :)

We relocated to The Evergreens after selling our townhome and awaiting the completion of our new home in Nov 2021. From the application process to current day, it’s been a pleasant experience. I like that we were required to go through “orientation” on move in day where things were thoroughly explained. The staff here are all super helpful and have been available whenever we needed something or had a question. This apartment experience has been by far the best out of ANY apartment we’ve ever rented. It is smoke-free, clean, and appealing. The parking lot was just re-surfaced and it looks really good. I love the security feature of the main door and the keys to each unit are unique, in their own special way. Management has the best interest for all tenants at the forefront of everything they do. I’ve been here for six years and I truly enjoy the community. Every time I try to move to a different place I have always weigh my options and even though we don’t have all the amenities I don’t have all the headaches either that comes with other communities with all the amenities. It’s a gated community at the front door my only downside is when our packages are left outside the door instead of ringing security booth with our names on it to open the door to put the package at our door or mailbox, Amazon.

I have enjoyed my experience. My building is quiet. The tow trucks come too often though. Although there are security cameras, there are still dead spots more cameras should be placed. Living off of a busy street doesn't allow you to have quiet time with the windows open.

Love the community, LOVE MY UNIT, love the valet trash, love the leasing office staff. The only thing that I wish was a little better is the visitor parking situation. There are a lot of empty spaces for residents, but the visitors spaces are always taken. My guests always have to park on the street and walk to my building. Other than that, it's amazing and service requests are complete quickly and the leasing office is very responsive.

Great location to be in for commuting to DC or Baltimore. Modern, nice-looking apartments with large windows and in-unit washer/dryer. Very pleasant and quaint community throughout the apartment complex. The office and maintenance staff are also great!

My first initial call with Jessica James was professional, knowledgeable, very informative and helpful. She addressed all of my questions and explained the process in depth step by step. She's very thorough with attention to every detail and kept me informed throughout the entire process from the beginning to end. I've been at Evergreens for half a year and have had mostly positive experience this far. The apartments are nice renovated and in a quiet neighborhood. The staff are always courteous and respond promptly to any maintenance requests. The only main issue is the thin walls and ceilings. I always know when my neighbors are up and about.

Property is nice, the unit is beautiful and updated but parking for visitors is a little inconvenient. Vistors have to walk from one of the few visitors parking to the building that they need. There is 3 visitors parking with 4 spots each

Everybody was very nice to me especially Jessica and Ti?nna. The apartment was very clean and looked very luxurious.My only issue is that the walls are too thin. So I easily hear my upstairs neighbor making noise.My second issue is that I wish there was a holding iron support, so that if you have something to hold on, if you slide and fall in the bathtub. Apart from these, my experience has been wonderful.

I just moved in but am in love with the apartment. Its spacious, has modern appliances and gigabit fiber internet. Parking can be a bit sparse but I haven't had an issue finding a spot near my building yet. Everyone at the leasing office was very helpful and polite, I'm very happy with my move here.

I have only moved in recently so I cannot comment on the whole scope of the full apartment experience, however, for move-in the process was exceptional. I've moved frequently in the past few years and the check-in process at the Evergreens was the best I have ever experienced. A staff member walked me through the entire move-in checklist, showing me everything was cleaned, working, and up-to-date (they even walked me through opening the blinds, locking/unlocking the windows and doors, maybe some feel this is an inconvenience, but I personally like to know everything is in order). The manuals for all the appliances are provided. The complex was renovated in 2012-2013 and all the appliances are energy efficient and basically new. This particular complex also allows for complementary painting of an "accent" wall (with a variety of colors) which was a nice feature, and this was handled extremely swiftly upon move in. Additionally, the staff provided a welcome basket, and little organization note cards for drawers and closets (it had soap, detergent, snacks and stuff which are really handy when you move in and can't find the box you had your stuff in). It was the most professional, well-thought out move-in experience I have ever had, and after terrible experiences with other complexes near the Greenbelt area, this place was phenomenal. Oh, and you just put your trash outside your door to have it collected, incredibly convenient feature no need to run over to the trash place (although I asked them to show me where it was and how to use the compactor). All the locks are electronic, which is cool, since the complex feels secure, but unfortunately it is costly if you get locked out or need additional keys. I'm a workaholic shut in so I have not visited the other amenities like the large workout/fitness area, but the complex supports up to Gig-E connection speeds through Comcast and Verizon which matters to me since I have to run a VPN to work. I had no problems doing a Xfinity service transfer from another location. The only real criticisms I have which are incredibly minor and are not solvable by management are the following. (1) The Evergreens is by a Harley Davidson Motorcycle, so occasionally it is loud, but it hasn't really bothered me that much. (2) The floors are exceptionally creaky, I'm on the second floor, so I don't know if the resident above is basically a whale, but I can definitely tell when that person moves around above me. (3) I laugh as I type this, because I would have never imagined this being a consideration, but the lighting at night is soooo well lit and bright, I actually had a hard time getting to sleep because it didn't seem that late since it was so bright out, so both a Plus/Minus there. I've already recommended it to a colleague based on just the move in process. Finally, the last comment I'd make is the package/mailing process is great, I amazon a LOT, and in the last complex I was in I had many packages stolen. Here at the Evergreens, all the major distributors can get in the first doors to the buildings to drop packages directly off at the door, there is also a call box to dial you so you can let them in. Also there is a slot for the US Mail outgoing so you don't have to find a blue USPS box.

I haven't had any problems here except when someone were taking tires off of cars. Never knew if you would go out and your tires would be gone. They have it under control as I know. But you have that problem most any where. Other than that no problems.

I Stephawn Lindsay and my beautiful wife Esha Lindsay have had the privileged of living here at Evergreens with who I believe are one of the top organizations in the world! It is no surprise why they win so many awards for their excellent service. From the first day we walked in, we knew this was home. We truly appreciate their attention to detail, community events, responsiveness to eve the smallest concern, hospitality, and overall efficiency. They mean it when they say they put their hearts into your home. We want to send a special shout out to Ms. Jessica James who handle a most recent matter with us so gracious and tactfully. Her poise, competency and care spoke volumes about upper management as she represents so well. Leaving is bitter sweet, but we will always remember the Evergreens. Thank you family!
