So far my experience has been OK. I think Maintenance to respond quicker and then also the area with the grills. The amount of money that the residents spent out in Cooper's Landing I think that they should have more grills across the property. You have one little grill that is really bad with holes in the bottom of it. The property manager needs to engage more with the residence when they come into the office when I first went to the office to pick up my keys. She did not come out and greet the new residence. Thank you.

I've been here for over 10 years great place great people to work with. Nice walking path always clean and quiet. Just a short distance from all kinds of shopping and restaurants. Have really enjoyed my time here! Nice place to live ??

This has been a good experience for me. The office and maintenance has always been responsive to me and completed repairs in a timely manner. I have good neighbors in the building. The kids and pets in the building are well behaved

I enjoy the community. The only slightly issue I have is the the grounds . While others are responsible for picking up thier own trash . I'm often picking up trash around the parking lot . Not sure how often the grounds are cleaned

Most aspects of coopers are great but I have Trouble with upstairs neighbors feeding/killing birds. They also allow their dog to pee and poop on their deck. Causing destruction of my property below . They have started throwing poop over their deck and now letting their dog poop in front of my garage since reporting them. The office unfortunately has not stopped either of this issues from stopping sadly . Others report these specific people have been an issue over the years with past tenders who have lived in my apartment and the office still declines to take actions outside of sending the entire building a letter as an entity vs actually addressing the people at fault .

It's quiet and the grounds are well maintained. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff could use some help, with the exception of a couple of them. I love the Amazon hub!

My experience at Coopers Landing has been great so far. It's a quiet community, and everyone has been very friendly so far. I was nervous about moving to the east side of town, but it's felt safe and I love my apartment. It has the amenities I was looking for plus some extras at an affordable price for the area. I haven't needed maintenance a ton, but the couple of times I did they were so great and came over right away.

It's quiet here. Free water, sewer and trash. A lot of options for different income levels. Easy rent pay and maintenance request through the online portal. The grounds are kept up very well. Buildings all look nice.

Back of complex is clean and quiet. Maintenance is quick to respond and office staff is super helpful. The newer buildings are well maintained and during the winter they are quick to plow the roads and sidewalks.

Quite complex near my building. My apartment is good sized. Love having a washer and dryer in the apartment. Two full bathrooms. Maintenance response quickly. Phone calls to front office are answered promptly.

The apartments are decent but overpriced. The fire alarms go off every other day, thin walls, and nosey maintenance and office crew. It's also not KPS school district although the address is Kalamazoo.

Safe and secure. Excellent response from maintenance. Friendly community atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and quick to respond to questions or concerns. The common grounds are well maintained and response time to issues is immediate. I love it here!

The apartments are nice and big but the walls are paper thin. You get a garage with your apartment but the garage is small it does however keep your car warm so you don't have to wait for the car to warm up in the morning

The apartment are in a nice area, away from the main drive (gull rd). No noise from Gull. Nice tennis course. The disc golf course is very short and small. Building more apartments but not anything extra for the community. Dismissive about complaints about other residents, you won't get much help there. But in the end a nice place to live

Room layout are nice, mine wasn't cleaned when I got here there was still garbage in the garage and razor blades, and then the community here is disgusting no one picks up after their dog there is one walking path and it's just littered with dog poop.

So far, so good! I have been here 6 months. The paint in the apartment chips easily and not all units are updated. Mine being one of them. I will ask for updates when it's time to renew my lease and hopefully they will be honored.

Great Decision to Move Here!

I am so happy I chose to move to Cooper's Landing! Kaylee (my Leasing Agent) was outstanding to work with-professional and personable. My 2 bedroom apartment was spotless when I moved in. The maintenance services are timely, and the grounds are just beautiful. Very satisfied with the rental payment ranges, giving me flexibility based upon my needs. I also appreciate that up to 2 pets are allowed, and that there is a dog park on the premises. Highly recommend and ask for Kaylee!

There's no pool. The children's playground is not very big. A lot of apartments don't have central air so the summer heat sucks at times. The size of the apartment is nice. Maintenance is always on point.

Horrible. After about 6 months of seeing people using grills everywhere I decided to use my smoker about 50 feet away from the apartments in a grassy area. The next day I got a copy of the lease taped to my door with the section about one flames highlighted and stating the next violation would result in eviction. Everyone else is talked to said they were told it was OK as long as they kept the grills inside the garage. One night I was sitting in the living room watching TV when the front door lock turned and 2 kids walked in with a key and looked at me funny and asked if do and so lived there. I said no I've been here for almost a year now. They ran off. The next morning I went to the office and said something and they said I must have forgot to lock the door. After 2 years I went month to month anticipating moving out soon. At this point they decided they wanted a copy of my renters insurance I had never updated in 2 years. I got it for them after a couple months. They sent me an eviction notice and stayed they never got it. Talked to the manager and sent it to her via email. She sent a 2nd eviction notice and stated she never got the email. About a week before the eviction hearing management at the complex decided to open the garage doors to everyone's apartment and there were multiple break ins, including my place. No notice was given that they were going to allow access to our apartments as is required by law. Officer showed up and said this was the highest crime complex in the area as they do not change the locks from tenant to tenant. He has responded to dozens of complaints of strangers just walking into locked apartments when people are present. Please go to Kalamaxoo County sheriff's office on Lamont St and check this place out before you move here. They also just started accepting section 8 vouchers. It looks nice for now but it's awful.

The grounds are well kept the maintenance people are very cordial and it's a very nice neighborhood. The staff is really good about helping to take care of us. They answer the phone right when we call. I enjoy living here.
