Love this community. I've gotten to know a few of my neighbors because people tend to stay here longer. Great office staff and maintenance staff. Not crazy about the screaming kid above me, but it is what it is.

So far my experience has been good, I haven't had any issues really. The people who live below me do have a dog that barks very loud all the time but the way the apartment layout is set up it's hard to tell whose apartment it is. Other than that I haven't not had any issues.

I hate to see all of the dog crap all over the place when I go out walking around for exercise. It is really disgusting. Also the rude people that can not figure out how to turn off the car alarms several times every single day. One car has up to 10 blasts at a time. The abandoned vehicles that have not been moved for 6 months. Otherwise this is a very nice community to live in.

Coopers landing has a nice safe community. It is pet friendly. There is access to a dog park, tennis courts, and small playground for children. They have many options of different lay outs to fit different needs.

Initially, when I moved out here, I thought it was great. It was really nice. However, the woman told me that rent does not go up more than $25 each year. My rent has gone up almost $100 each year in the last two years. I went from paying $1079 a month to now paying $1326 a month and I live in a two bedroom. They do not have central air. They do not have a pool. They just keep building new apartments out here there's not even a park for the kiddos to play. The maintenance man walked in my apartment right after I got out of the shower. I let him know that I was not dressed, even though he was never supposed to be in there without knocking because I do not give them permission to come in when I'm not home. He did knock or ring the doorbell that I have outside the door. The maintenance man came in anyway after I told him I was not dressed and came back to my room. I reported this to the office and they told me they weren't going to do anything about it and they were sure that he didn't mean anything by it. I cannot wait to move out of here!

My experience at Cooper's Landing Community has been great. The process has been smooth, from an apartment tour, leasing, and application to moving in. They are accommodating, and I enjoy living here.

This community is pretty great! I really like how quiet it is for the most part. I love my townhome, I don't think it could get any better than what I have now. I love the attached garage and in-unit washer and dryer. Maintenance was awesome cleaning up during the winter when we got a ton of snow. One negative I would say is the dog droppings around the outside of my apartment. I wish people would learn to clean up after themselves.

Overall a pretty decent community, rent increases every year making it difficult to live even a basic lifestyle. Ongoing garbage overflow is still an unsightly & inexcusable problem. Insufficient dumpsters for growing complex. Need a more adequate play area for kids to improve quality of life but more importantly safety for our most vulnerable. Handicap parking lacking in front of some buildings, unacceptable. Perennial landscaping would help esthetics & personality of community.

The people are nice that work in the office, and the maintenance workers are punctual. The dog run area is nice and the people in the neighborhood offer a good mix (college students, families, and older adults).

I have found Cooper's Landing to be an exceptional place to live and it's a blessing that it was my first apartment as well. The staff was professional and kind when going through the leasing documents and patiently bore with all my questions. I have never felt unsafe and see the security cars patrolling the streets at night. The only issue with an appliance was a dryer and that was quickly resolved by the maintenance team. It's clean, airy and being surrounded by forest and away from the larger city, has a quaint suburban feel to it. I have recommended to my family, friends and would invite those whom I don't know to consider moving to this location.

Great community and definitely get great help from the office crew and have had no trouble with maintenance, only thing I wasn't happy with is they upped my rent 150$ in 2 years where most do 20-50 a year

I love living here because the community is more like a neighborhood than an apartment complex. We are close to grocery stores and restaurants, but are tucked away from the chaos of heavily trafficked roads. The property is clean and well kept. Maintenance is fantastic - very quick to respond to issues. Office staff is friendly and has been great with answering questions and addressing concerns.

My experience at Coopers Landing Kalamazoo for the last Six (6) years plus has been very nice and happy! The staff is timely with response, helpful with a positive approach and attentive. Their forward communications via emails, text massages during area challenges, IE: Weather storms, area power outages with their proto calls is very helpful.

Great complex with good amenities. Complex is big, so parking is almost never an issue, even for guests. For the price, the apartments are spacious, and the garages are a nice addition. Front office staff, too, is extremely friendly and personable. Only issues I've ran into is the thin walls and the lack of enforcement of their own policies. I'm situated between two very loud persons, so I hear literally everything they say and do, especially in the bedroom where my bed is on the same shared wall as theirs? Parking isn't really an issue since the complex is vast, however it gets real annoying when people around me have 2 vehicles and they just let one sit in the same parking spot for months at a time. Community guidelines state no abandoned vehicles, however this is not enforced, so while parking itself isn't an issue, parking near my building can be an issue.

The community is good but there's always one bad apple in the bunch that don't care about the people below or above them. They break all the rules and there seem to be no consequences for there behavior

Out dated unit. It smelled of animal urine upon move in, and strange smells continuously come from the bathroom vents. Building has far too many occupants for the available parking. It seems like the older buildings are filled with large families. When applying for the apartment, the building and pictures for the unit were very different than what I got, however I was in a pinch for somewhere to live. Walls are paper thin and can hear people screaming and arguing constantly. Neighboring tenants smoke weed at all hours of the day, as early as 7:00 AM when I leave for work which is insane to me. This is not a complex I feel comfortable with living in and having company over. This will likely be the first and the last time renting with coopers landing.

Grass is cut, snow is removed but nothing has been updated to my apartment since I've moved in and yet my rent goes up 80-85 dollars the last few years. My deck is green, my window ac unit still has knobs that's how old it is and it only cools off the corner that it is in. I have baseboard heating and it barely kicks out any heat my apartment is either cold or really hot! I was told that they don't have to provide anything over 70 degrees so when the temps are below zero I can't turn it up. My appliances are the cheapest you can buy and it took me more than 6 months to get a broken one replaced. I was told that the reason my rent keeps going up is because it costs more to maintain the buildings. I'm paying over 1100 a month and nothing has been upgraded so what exactly is costing more? I was told my building is to old to support central air which is why it hasn't been updated and I still have water spouts on my walls like in a hotel smh weed smell filters through my building on a daily basis, dogs run around with no leashes and all my window coverings have to be white backed which limits what I can use. They want it to be like "home" but provides none of the comforts or ability to add items that would make it feel like home.

the construction of the buildings uses concrete which helps insulate a lot and keeps temperatures and noise easy to control. there is a lot of construction going on but no word if we're going to get a pool, a fitness center, a larger dog park, or effective maintenance staff, yet rent keeps getting increased for no reason; no updates to any units I know of nor mine. a once yearly carpet cleaning offer is a slap in the face when maintenance issues never get fully resolved. my unit was advertised as having over 700sqft of space but they misleadingly added the garage sqft to the living space sqft so I actually only have 630sqft or so, very disappointing. every maintenance request is useless because they only ever make the problems worse since they refuse to actually listen to the people that live in their own units day in and day out.

When we first move in it was great. Now it's crap. My apartment has multiple issues with breakers that no one fixes they just say we have to much plugged in. Which is a lie. We have had another company tell us there is likely something wrong with the actuall breaker. I shouldn't have to contact an outside company to tell me what's wrong with something in your apartment. I can't even use cooking appliances in my own apartment without the breakers flipping. The dog trash bin outside my building is always so full that I can't out anything in it. I have called five seperate occasions for someone to come clean it up that was after waiting a week expecting that someone would come clean it but nope no one did. How do you expect me to clean up after my animal when the bins are so full.

So far Coopers Landing has been one of my favorite apartments to live at. If i had a problem maintenance resolved it with ease, havent had any issues with the community, i love the layout of my place and the appliances that came with it. Slowly starting to feel like a home.
