Nice Place

We moved in a year ago and have been pleased. The grass is always nice and the staff here is always helpful. If my job doesn't move me, we will stay another year.

Too high price for the quality

We've been leaving here for a while.. Not very happy. Very old appliances. Windows do not close completely. Old, scratched everywhere vinyl...Kitchen ducts are leaking...No exhaust in the kitchen, which makes it unbearable to cook ,,, smell is everywhere...Walls are so thin you can hear a neighborer's breath. A lot of new noisy neighbors..Pool is cool but it typically filled with noisy kids: probably 2 kids per squire inch. Management: Mike is probably the only guy who could help you, but he is never around. Still haven't figured out his office hours. Maintenance: terrible! They can not repair anything from the first time. Rent: It is already high enough and they just informed us that they are even going to increase it.

      3 YEARS and VERY HAPPY!

I have been here for over three years in a one bedroom apartment. The reason I keep staying is easy---I Love It!! For one thing, Woodbury is one of the nation's top cities to live, The property was built in 2000, but still feels new and they like my big dog! I think the maintenance here is awesome and the office is always prompt and professional. I will most likely renew my lease again unless I get married someday. Maybe then I will upgrade to a larger floorplan.

        Not for the money

I have lived here for one year, i thought it was great until i looked at other town home communities. You can get more room for less price almost anywhere and now i dont have to worry about my car broken into anymore or hearing my neighbors cough! good by "luxury" what a joke. you are pretty much just paying for the way it looks on the outside, or the pretty leasing office.

          Glad i'm leaving

The apperance of the Grand Reserve is nice but the quality of the inside of the apartments leaves a lot to be desired. The walls are thin and can hear my neighbors through the walls. If you even touch the wall it will leave a mark on the paint which causes a problem because when you leave they expect there to be no marks on the wall at all. This is impossible. I hung a picture on the wall and just from the picture hanging there there are marks on the wall. If you are expecting on getting your security deposit back forget about it! Your not allowed to BBQ on your patio because it's too close to the building so instead you have to do it on the edge of the driveway so why even have the patio. Overall the place is cheaply made. The neighborhood is nice and up until recently there was no problems. There have been cars stolen and several more cars broken. The Woodbury police put extra patrols in the neighborhood. The rule about guest in the pool is silly. You can only have two guest per resident. I understand the rule but when the pool is empty you shouldn't be asked to leave the pool because there was 4 people in the pool and only one resident. If you have a pickup or even a full size truck the only way to get it in the garage is to parkat an angle because the garages are too shallow. The staff is okay and only okay. They lose rent checks and then try to charge a late fee for it and once they had my rent check and had to all me and ask what it was for because they couldn't figure it out. After 10pm if any noise is made the neighbors will call the cops. I had a total of 5 people sitting in my garage having a normal conversation with the garage door more than half way down and the cops where called for a noise complaint and 1015pm. Im glad to be leaving. Most of these things I could put up with but with the prices that are charged everything should be a lot better quality!

            We will never leave!

We have lived at the Grand Reserve since the very beginning. We were one of the very first residents here and have loved it since day one. The staff is very friendly and the maintenance team is definately on top of things. There are community parties a few times a year and we always look forward to them. Our doggies love it here too! There is plenty of room to walk them and even a walking trail around a lake across the street. The grounds are constantly blooming with beautiful seasonal flowers. It is in a convenient location but is not in the main traffic areas of Woobury. The community has been overall very peaceful in the years that we have lived here. The bottom line is....it is the best apartment community that we have ever lived in. Again, we don't have any plans to leave anytime soon.

It has it's ups and downs.....

From a distance, the Grand Reserve is quite appealing. It is in a very nice town with rather posh surroundings, but the Grand Reserve definitely does not add to the "poshness" of the community. When you get there, you notice the the upkeep of the property is mediocre at best. The hedges are not kept well, and the grass leaves something to be desired. The outside of the buildings are pretty good though. Inside the apartments, the build quality is sufficient for a rental property, but not up to my personal standards.....good luck finding a stud in the wall! The neighborhood is pleasant, but there it has its share of riff raff. Car break-ins are the latest nuisance to the property, and I am about fed up with fireworks for the year. I have not had any specific issues with any of the residents (in fact I find most of them to be very friendly), but my next door neighbors definitely freak me out. The management at the property is very friendly for the most part. I can't say that I have run into any issues that haven't been resolved in a fair manner. The only complaint that I would have about some of those that work in the office is that they seem a bit apathetic towards their jobs sometimes. Overall, I feel that this place is way overpriced considering I could have a very decent mortgage on a nice house for what I pay in rent. The sign on the entrance to the property describes "luxury apartments" and I would say that is quite an exaggeration. For the money, you could do better. Remove that flaw, and the Grand Reserve becomes a decent place to live while you are looking for more permanent living quarters.

tons of car break in's and even cars being stolen!

I thought this place was safe, but in the last 2 weeks there have been many nights when the police have been here. 2 cars stolen in the last month and countless cars being broke into.

A: I could hear my left side neighbor clearing his throat next door. I could hear my lower neighbors fighting every night word for word clear as day. Next door to the right there was a screaming child. Once it came to my dogs walking around or getting excited when I got home after work, I got complains and was kicked out. Yes it’s extremely loud and you can hear everything including your neighbors simply walking around. It’s frightening how much room there is for complaints. So I guess if you hear anything, complain. Since you pretty much need to defend yourself there.
